Les vues sont incroyables et pourtant différentes pour tous nos emplacements, mais celui-ci est très spécial et nous savons que vous allez l'adorer! Ceci est notre 9ème propriété et nous avons bien au-dessus de 350 ... 5 étoiles critiques, nous ne décevons pas et savons à quel point une grande expérience de vacances est importante pour une famille.

Bear Paw est une chambre fraîchement rénovée de 3 chambres, 1 salle de bain. Nouvelle cuisine et salon, avec beaucoup de fenêtres et des vues fantastiques sur la falaise et le canyon. Les enfants peuvent se déplacer sur les 40 acres et laisser libre cours à leur imagination.

Endroit privé très calme et paisible et nous aimons voir les animaux de compagnie rejoindre les vacances.

Belle vue sur le canyon de ruisseau chaud.

Maître de la taille de la reine (Papa Bear), complet en Mama Bear, complet et twin dans les chambres des bébés ours.

Beaucoup de grandes fenêtres pour profiter de la vue sur le canyon tout au long de votre séjour.

Ac, cuisinière, frigo, micro-ondes, cuisine entièrement équipée ... Tout le confort de la maison. La cafetière est incluse, soit Keurig, Peculator ou brassée, si vous avez une préférence s'il vous plaît laissez-nous savoir et nous l'aurons prête pour vous.

Le bain à remous et le foyer devant un grand patio couvert font de cet endroit un endroit idéal pour regarder la vallée, les falaises et les STARS, voir la voie lactée et compter les étoiles filantes lors de nos nombreuses nuits claires.

Profitez de tout, du beau lever de soleil aux couchers de soleil incroyables. Avec plus de mille acres de vue sur l’ancienne voie ferrée Edgemont - Hot Springs serpentant à travers le canyon, avec une vallée tentaculaire au-delà. Imaginez que l’ancien chemin de fer des sources thermales amène les touristes à plonger dans les eaux minérales chaudes il ya plus de 100 ans.

Cette cabine est très bien isolée et même un petit climatiseur le garde bien au frais en été ... les nuits se refroidissent, ce qui permet d’ouvrir les fenêtres et de dormir au son des arbres, très paisible.

Non-fumeur dans la maison s'il vous plaît.

Improvement needed

Non-potable water. Poor water pressure. No broom, mop to clean up after ourselves. Low supplies such as 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults for 3 days. We had to buy dish soap, t.p. And paper towels. No grill utensils . The hot tub was not what was in the pictures.

The water is potable, we haul water from Hot Springs... we also supply bottled water, because not everyone enjoys the mineral water here for drinking. We live next door and would have been happy to supply anything you needed to make your stay more enjoyable. The hot tub did get replaced because of bad leak.

The rental was just what we were looking for. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub very much! I didn’t have to bring any extras. Great location for all of our day trips. Loved it!

Family time at Bear Paw!

Wade and Patricia were very accommodating when our trip plans changed slightly at the last minute. They worked with us and were very prompt in answering any questions we had before our arrival. The property was clean and the view was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful.

This house is great! It is out in the woods, and the views are breathtaking. The house has everything you need! We LOVED soaking in the hot tub at sunrise. The town of hot springs is also very cute to walk around at. I highly recommend this house!

Private, Quiet, Remote

This is a wonderful retreat. The cabin is about 10 minutes from town. It is pretty remote and very private. There is lots of land for kids to play and have fun. The cabin itself is very nice. All the essentials are there. It is quite wonderful. We had one small issue and the owners came within five minutes to help out. Great experience.

Great Family Vacation

We had an amazing stay at the Bear Paw Den. We brought our 2 little ones (4 and 6) and they loved it so much. It was a great place to unwind after a long day in the Black Hills. A little piece of heaven!

We just returned from our Easter vacation in the Black Hills, and we knew going in that there was no guarantee that we were going to have good weather in a month as fickle April. But fortune smiled on us and we were greeted by the warmest temperatures so far this year. It rained on our last full day at the cabin, but even that provided a good excuse to lay-up and relax in the hot tub, and recover from three days of exploring the Black Hills. Also, the fact that it was Easter Sunday meant that not much, if anything, would have been open anyway. We played board games (thoughtfully provided by the owners), and watched movies, and made banana splits instead. As for the Bear Paw Den; it was exactly what we had hoped for..... a secluded little hideaway for our family of four. In fact, given that the cabin is surrounded on three sides by cliffs, it couldn't have been much more secluded, or picturesque. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well-provisioned with everything visitors could need in terms of basic kitchen utensils, appliances, and dinnerware. Linens, towels, and extra blankets (super soft, and comfy) were to be found in abundance. We were greeted in the mornings by birds singing, and deer nibbling on the new spring grass around the house. At night, we were serenaded by the many wild turkeys roaming the hills behind the cabin. Our kids had a great time exploring the property, and playing fetch with our dogs on the spacious lawn. Our ten year old son practically lived in the hot tub the rest of the time. The town of Hot Springs is a collection of amazing turn-of-century stone architecture, funky little shops and galleries of all kinds, and friendly, down-to-earth people. We would recommend "The Vault"; a cool little bar and grill that had amazing food (try the 'Stewies Cheesesteak' sandwich if you like a little bit of spice in your life), and which was kid-friendly. They even had kid's karaoke from 6-8! We also ventured about ten miles out of town to check out Cascade Falls, a beautiful little oasis of warm springs that is, no doubt a local secret, but which we happened across by just driving around the area. Probably the only down-side to our trip was that we never were able to get ahold of the owners during our stay, and so, were never able to get the password to the wifi network. But even that just ensured that our kids weren't going to spend the whole trip looking at a screen. It was a perfect vacation! 5 stars!!!!!

Great spring break visit

The property was gorgeous! My 7 and 3 yo enjoyed exploring the space and soaks 3x in the hot tub. The cabin fit our needs and was well equipped with kitchen supplies, games and blankets. A washer and dryer would be an excellent addition as well as a few info cards with heater and Wi-Fi instructions for those of us with no cell service. A big thank you to Wade for his hospitality.

Our Christmas at Bear Paw Den was amazing! The cabin is tucked away making it peaceful and quiet.

The Bear Paw Den was extremely clean...which for me is of highest priority! The cabin is decorated so cute and has a homey feel. I love the new master bedroom that was recently added, it is very spacious! Also the living room has tons of windows so you can enjoy the beautiful view. The view and the acres where you can roam freely are gorgeous. The fire pit and hot tub were an added bonus. We all enjoyed the fire pit and a few in our group partook of a soak in the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, utensils, etc... necessary to prepare our meals. Wade and Patricia are great people. Our daughter and son-in-law's puppy locked himself in one of the bedrooms and Wade was there in less than 10 minutes to unlock the door and rescue Rizzo! Our overall experience was positive and we would recommend Bear Paw Den as a peaceful, relaxing get-away!

Beautiful property!

The View!

Imagine getting to stand on the edge of a cliff overlooking a richly diverse vista any time you want, of hanging your hammock on the cliff's edge, lounge chairs on each of two cliffs are excellent for viewing the Milky Way and shooting stars. Oh, and star-gazing from the hot tub is delightful. Clean, comfortable and completely welcoming, the house had everything we needed and more. Mountain bluebirds were delightful in the meadows and wild turkey and deer grazed near the house. This rental is one we will long remember and come back to visit again.

We are a product of on online dating. Patricia moved from MN to the Northern Hills in 1979. Wade was born in Spearfish, but was living in Colorado, counting days until the next time he could get back the 'The Hills'.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

When we found the property online, we fell in love with the house... and Wade the shop. But after we came to see it in person and walked to the cliff... well, it was just amazing. You have to see it in person to understand. Everyday, we tell our 3 dogs and 3 cats, 'we are going to the cliff' and we all take a hike together, stopping just to sit and look. Seems like every hike, we see something new, we never noticed before.

We want every guest to feel right at home and provide everything you could ever need. We treat our guests as family... that traveled from across the country and have what they need to relax and prepare for the best vacation possible. We know most families only get 1 or 2 vacations a year, we are very honored to be a part of that experience.
