Bienvenue chez moi!

Cette propriété est un lieu paisible pour se détendre aprÚs une longue journée en ville, elle se compose d'une salle à manger et d'un salon en espace ouvert composé d'un canapé confortable, et d'une télévision grand écran.
Cet espace dispose également d'une kitchenette entiÚrement équipée de tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer un délicieux repas, y compris une plaque électrique, un four micro-ondes et une machine à café, à votre disposition.

La premiĂšre chambre est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un lit queen size et une armoire pour vos vĂȘtements. La deuxiĂšme chambre contient un lit superposĂ©. Tous les lits sont Ă©quipĂ©s de draps de qualitĂ© hĂŽteliĂšre gratuits pour assurer un confort maximal.

La salle de bain dispose de serviettes propres et des articles de toilette pour votre commodité.

C'est un endroit idéal pour explorer la ville. Le Centre Pompidou, le Musée National Picasso-Paris, le Musée des Arts et Métiers, le Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione, Le Manoir de Paris, Choco-Story Paris - Musée du Chocolat, le Square du Temple - Elie Wiesel, et le Carreau du Temple sont tous à proximité. Il y a également de nombreux excellents restaurants et bars, tels que Bouillon Julien, Candelaria, Favela Chic, DerriÚre, et Soya. Les cafés Le Plomb du Cantal Rive Droite et Delaville sont également d'excellentes options.

La stations "République" est à 3 minutes et les stations "Strasbourg-Saint-Denis" "Temple" "Arts et Métiers" et "Jacques Bonsergent" ne sont qu'à 6 minutes de marche. La Gare de l'Est et la Gare du Nord ne sont qu'à 14 et 1,6 kilomÚtres, respectivement. La gare Saint-Lazare est également trÚs bien située, à seulement 2,6 kilomÚtres de l'appartement.

Lovely apartment

Excellent communication regarding the unfortunate ceiling leak coming from the apartment upstairs. This meant our 2 bedroom apartment became a one bedroom apartment and the teenagers slept in the lounge. The owner offered the sofabed and even came to greet us at check in and show us how it worked. Unfortunately this wasn't suitable and the teens slept in mattresses on the floor (their preference). The leak was temporarily fixed but then restarted. I'm assuming there was a difficulty in getting it fixed a second time, particularly since it was Christmas. The communication with Guest Ready was always prompt and helpful. The area comes alive during retail hours, we arrived on Sunday afternoon and the graffiti covered shop fronts did not give a good impression. This changed during retail hours. Handy small supermarket close by. The apartment was well equipped and a lovely space to come back to.

Mostly good

The property is clean, in a good area close to the metro, grocery, and restaurants. Some issues we had are: there are no instructions to show how to log into the WiFi, how to use any appliances (washer, dishwasher, etc), or anything else about the property. I had to consistently reach out to the property management company to learn what the WiFi was, they kept sending the password encrypted, even after multiple times letting them know it was not coming through. I finally had to call to get the password so we could get online. They only supply one bath towel per guest; no hand towels or washcloths. When I inquired about this, I was told only bath towels were provided. There was only one flimsy kitchen towel to use for everything; drying dishes, wiping up spills, etc. Again, no paper towels or anything else. I had to ask for an additional kitchen towel, which seemed to be grudgingly given, and purchase my own paper towels. There was no hand soap, dishwasher soap or laundry soap.I had to inquire about that. They did purchase them and deliver to the apartment, but it was again, me having to manage things in order to make the stay manageable. The whole point of VRBO properties is to give you a sense of home, where things are available, to make your stay a little easier. There was a lot of me having to reach out to the management company to ask about things that should have just been taken care of. Location was great, cleanliness was great, basic amenities lacking.

10 day Paris vacation - excellent experience

Our party of 3 adults had a fantastic time at this property. Clean, quiet, comfortable, completely as listed. 5 minute walk to RĂ©publique with its 4 Metro lines, easy to quickly get anywhere in the city. Vibrant neighborhood with lots of varied dining options, including a handful of American fast food chains. Very walkable, always felt safe. Carrefour City market down the block, we used regularly for snacks, juice, toiletries. We never cooked in the unit, but the market had everything needed if we had wanted to. The only small issue we had (which we did not bring up) was the wifi connection was spotty. Since we were out all day, every day, it was never a big issue. When we got back in the evenings and wanted to do some work or use social media before bed, the fly connection was a minor irritation. We didn't do anything to correct, it would come back on its own within a few minutes. Another note (not a criticism of the property at all), at least for those coming from the U.S.: we weren't aware that in France the floors of buildings are numbered starting at 0. So, where this unit is shown to be on floor 2 (with only stairs available), to an American it's actually the 3rd floor.

Convenient location!

The apartment is as promoted. The location is equal walking distance to/from Gare Nord as it is to the Marais. The apartment is quiet and safe. Well appointed with electric kettle, coffee machine and other. The washing machine was a lifesaver (no dryer). The location has some “Gare Nord element”, but harmless if accessed from the south points. Loved the Carrefour steps away for basics. Perfect location for two metro lines and Gare Nord (if coming/going internationally via train). The only downsides were (1) less than stellar restaurants nearby (unless you like fast food chains), (2) the check-in/out process is cumbersome (it’s managed by a property management company separate from VRBO so you don’t talk to owners, and pick-up keys at a convenient store), and (3) the toilet
it doesn’t flush well (flush 3x to have a clean bowl even if just #1 :-) ). Overall, this place is a good value - location, space, amenities, proximity, safety, quiet, price. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place for you.

Das Appartment ist gerade ausreichend ausgestattet (ein Handtuch pro Person, ein KĂŒchentuch, ein MĂŒllbeutel etc.). Die Lage ist nicht gerade einladend, jedoch 1 Stern fĂŒr NĂ€he zu Gare de L'Est. Einchecken ist abends unnötig umstĂ€ndlich, da man den SchlĂŒssel erst an einer anderen Adresse abholen muss, die dann aber erst Stunden vorher bekannt gegeben wird. Am zweiten Tag ging die elektrische (!!) Toilette kaputt. Ein Anruf bei der Agentur brachte zunĂ€chst nur höfliche Beteuerungen "man versuche" einen Techniker zu schicken. Es dauerte bis abends um 22 Uhr, bis klar war, dass das an dem Tag nicht passieren wĂŒrde. Man sagte uns, wir könnten diese Nacht im Hotel verbringen. Sagte telefonisch zu, man wĂŒrde die Kosten ĂŒbernehmen. Am nĂ€chsten Tag kam der Techniker um 11 Uhr. Man teilte uns mit, es seit durch KĂŒchenpapier verursacht, welches den gesamten "Motor" blockiert hĂ€tte (wir hatten nur Toilettenpapier in homöopatischen Dosen und etwas KĂŒchenrolle verwendet). Man habe Fotos und wir hĂ€tten die Reperatur zu zahlen! Nie wieder diese GuestReady Agentur. UnverschĂ€mt in der Verschiebung der Lösung eines Problems auf die GĂ€ste, welches wohl schon hĂ€ufig aufgetreten ist: der Mechanismus ist völlig ungeeignet, als Toilette verwendet zu werden. Die vorherigen Bewertungen (teilweise doppelt) scheinen nicht verifiziert gewesen zu sein.

Great place to stay

Beautiful and comfortable apartment very conveniently located. Grocery and several amazing boulangeries within walking distance. Plenty of nearby restaurants and terraces to enjoy a drink, snack, or coffee while people watching. Central to multiple metro lines, but also easily walkable to some key sights (Atelier des Lumieres, Centre Pompidou, Louvre...). The apartment itself was immaculate and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris. I would return and stay there without hesitation. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and willing to help if needed. Definitely a great choice!
