Unit was nice and tidy upon arrival. Downside is lack of shelving to put clothes and toiletries. It was unseasonably hot and humid, so had to move fan closer to bed and leave windows open at night. Morning of departure, which was very early, there were bugs all around the fan. The location was great, the unit was smaller than expected.
I felt the place was outdated. Could use a little love. The Refrigerator and Stove was once white but so old itâs has yellow stains. Adding some rugs can help make the place cozy. The closet has a smell that isnât pleasant. Windows are original and can hear sirens and cars all through the night. Some new paint and also help.
It is a small, but nice little place that is perfect for our purposes to be close to Pacific Beach. There is no great AC which makes it uncomfortable at times, but if you can get past that and the older, original windows and appliances it is a golden stay for the price.
Compact unit met our basic needs. Good location close to a variety of shopping and restaurants.
Some features need updating/maintenance: Kitchen faucet water volume was low and one slant on window blinds fell off when adjusting. Electric wall outlet in bedroom needs to be checked/replaced.
Great location, street is quiet, easy to find parking and host was great! Could use a remodel in bathroom to help with age/cleanliness, hard to sit on toilet with tp roll blocking it
I had to contact them after arriving to get the address and door code. Door lock didn't work. First place I've EVER stayed in 30 years, with no AC, during a heat wave and tropical storm. Tub didn't drain well during shower. Adjacent apartment had a smoke alarm beeping for over an hour until they came and fixed it. Ot is a cute place, but I moved out early, forfeiting 2 nights and staying elsewhere.
Quiet neighborhood, walkable to Pacific Beacb and quick Uber ride to the city. Saw some homeless on the busier streets but not a big deal. Didnât feel unsafe or threatened as a female solo traveler.
Very accessible to restaurants on the area and close to the beach, I personally like it very much with other many activities around ....Gracias . Sincerely : Gilberto Gil,
Check in was super easy and Raquel was quick to respond! Great spot in a nice neighborhood that was perfect for our needs. Close to the beach and town. Clean and comfortable as well.
The only issue was not hearing back to confirm my reservation without my actually needing to call Vrbo to learn the exact address. Finally, an email came through yet only after my call which did include the front door code...
We stayed here for 5 nights in July. The location and price are unbeatable. Though the studio is small, it has everything you need and enough space for two people. The reason I didn't rate it higher is because the window screens allowed mosquitos into the apartment. I left with bites all over my body. By the fifth night the itching made it difficult to sleep.
A cozy little place that provides everything you need! Kitchen and bathroom are great and the location is perfect. Has everything you need. Property managers are phenomenal as well!
My experience was pleasant for a short stay. The property managers promptly responded to all questions I had before and during my stay. The location is good and only a 30 minute walk from beach. Very small unit. Bath towels did have some stains so I used my own. No sleeping pillows provided other than many throw pillows on the bed.
