The cabin we stayed in was not the same cabin that was shown in the pictures online. We contacted the property manager and it was a technical issue with VRBO having the incorrect pictures for all their listings? Not sure how that happens but the house we booked per the pictures online was a newer, nicer cabin compared to the one we actually stayed in. We were told we would be getting a refund of the difference between the cabins but that did not happen. The cabin was a bit dirty, just hadnât been thoroughly cleaned such as hair and debris still in the shower. Also, the TV was not logged into an account so we couldnât watch anything and had no response when asking for the log in info. Overall we still had a decent stay, still an okay place to lay your head down at night and the hot tub was relaxing.
The photos on BRBO do not match the cabin!!The cabin was dirty when we arrived. The couch cushions on floor, bed sheets on chair next to bed. The couch was filthy, grease stains on cushions and dirt on debris on couch where cushions go. Mattress had a dark mystery stain. The shower had not been cleaned soap scum on door. And the shower leaks so everytime we took a shower the floor was very wet. The windows in the cabin were grimy. I took a paper towel and wiped a small patch and it was dark residue that came off. There were some positives, the management sent someone to make bad and our couch cover on. The cabin was in a nice area.
We had a fantastic time, the property was very clean and when we had difficulty finding it the manager was very quick to respond and their help was clear and directions easy to understand
Cleanliness and overall stay was an easy A. As far as comfort, it was a bit muggy in the cabin. Iâm sure this is to be expected in most cases, but the air felt damp even after 24 hours with ac on. Overall I love it!! It was still cool inside, just damp.

Review of Eagles Nest Gross Experience
We recently stayed at this cabin and unfortunately, it was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. On the positive side, the porch was lovely and provided a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors, but unfortunately, that was about the only highlight of our stay.Pros:Great porch: It was spacious and perfect for relaxing with a coffee or enjoying the surroundings.Cons:Unpleasant smell: There was a strong, musty odor throughout the cabin, which made it hard to feel comfortable.Poor lighting: The cabin had very little lighting, making it feel dark and uninviting inside.Hot tub: The hot tub had visible dirt on the bottom, and there was a strange film floating on the surface of the water â not at all what we expected.Bath tub issue: If you filled the bathtub above the jets, dirt started coming out of the jets, which was really off-putting.Shower issues: The shower head was barely attached to the wall, making it difficult to use properly.Excessive spider problem: While we know the cabin is in the woods, the number of wolf spiders inside was excessive. We even found two wolf spiders in our luggage, which was alarming. We had to leave a day early because it was that bad.No communication from the owner: I attempted to reach out to the owner to address some of these concerns, but I received no response whatsoever. It would have been nice to receive a refund or some compensation for the day we left early due to the issues we encountered.
The cabin area was so incredibly quiet and peaceful. My only complaints would be the stove (burners are very finicky and often donât work), the kitchen lighting (very hard to see in the cooking and sink areas), and the shower (terrible leaking; floor was absolutely soaked). Our time there was short, so we made do and didnât complain. Overall a very good stay. Very clean; just needs a little maintenance.
Stay was great, exactly what we were looking for. To day something the could just improve the kitchen range, it was kind of hard to cook, barely heated except at full power. Other than that everything was great
My husband and I enjoyed the cute little cabin and the hot tub. It was cozy and super quiet. Exactly what we wanted. The firepit hadnt been cleaned out though. When we got there it had ice bags and beer cans jn it. Not really a big though.
The stay was amazing. Check in process was very easy. The cabin location was good and it was very clean. There was only one downside when we got there we used the hot tub for about 30 minutes then went to get a bath and only got the tub 1/2 of the way full and the hot water stopped working but everything else was amazing!
This place was what we wanted and needed, a small, quite, relaxing place with a great view. A full size couch would have been nice but we spent most of our time on the patio and in the hot tub. It was an excellent trip
My husband and I stayed here and had a nice time. The house does have a metal roof that amplifies the sound of rain hitting it. Since it rained at night during our stay, my husband and I had a harder time sleeping.
Happy there was a hot tub and a bed and a TV. No TV in the bedroom but looked like there was at one point. There wasnt enough hot water to fill/use the jacuzzi tub. Couldn't get the hot water to the shower. Bed was comfortable (fairly stiff like we like
Need updates and some cleaning, the smell of the house was uninviting and hardly bareable. Seems like minimal effort was put into the decor and the shower is basically non functional. I wouldn't book this cabin again..
