À propos de cet hébergement

Une belle location de vacances de luxe Colorado Mountain Lodge située à 9600 pieds d'altitude, entre Idaho Springs et St. Galcier de Marie. Entourée de forêt nationale, cette maison de vacances isolée mais accessible est l'endroit idéal pour vos réunions de famille, vos vacances, vos réunions de groupe, votre retraite ou votre réunion.

L'Invincible Lodge est situé sur 3 anciennes concessions minières. Des ruines minières historiques sont encore visibles sur la propriété. Le réservoir de Fall River se trouve à 5 km sur la route, avec de nombreuses randonnées, des sentiers en jeep et de la pêche. C'est une excellente route pour la motoneige en hiver! Fall River est littéralement à quelques mètres du Lodge. Le son relaxant de l'eau qui coule peut être entendu dans toutes les pièces de la maison! De nombreuses possibilités de plein air vous attendent!

A l'intérieur, le Lodge propose de luxueuses prestations rustiques. Dans la grande salle, détendez-vous à côté de l'une des deux cheminées à bois en pierre. Vous pouvez regarder un film en bas dans le Home Cinéma, entièrement équipé d'un système de projection numérique HDTV. Nous avons également le Wi-Fi par satellite. Jouez à des jeux dans le loft à l'étage, avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Faites griller un steak sur la terrasse enveloppante donnant sur le ruisseau.

Plusieurs domaines skiables sont facilement accessibles en voiture depuis le Lodge. Idaho Springs est à seulement quelques minutes, avec de nombreux magasins et restaurants. L'aéroport international de Denver est à seulement 1 heure 15 minutes! Facile d'accès, mais loin de la foule, l'Invincible Lodge vous fera vous sentir à des kilomètres!

Beautiful and well maintained

The property was beautiful and well maintained! David was a great host and helped us with anything we needed . It was definitely tricky to park more than a couple of cars in the winter time because of the snow banks, but we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Fabulous Family/Friends Weekend

It was the coldest MLK weekend we have ever experienced, but the lodge was comfortable and spacious enough for all 12 of us not to feel cramped inside. The little details, like mini shampoo, mints on the towels, labels on light switches and detailed information in the welcome book. Thank goodness for the firewood! It was so cold outside (below zero) that the fireplace kept everyone comfy. Highly recommend the Invincible Lodge for your family vacation!

Enjoyed our 3rd stay!

This home is a wonderful place for a group to spend time together! Our group of 4 families has stayed here 3 years in a row now and love the space we have for each family to sleep/bathrooms, multiple gathering areas- main living room, upstairs, basement, large dining table and our kids love the outdoor space. The kids play outside in the snow until it gets dark- so much space to explore! Thank you!

Incredible stay at a beautiful home

Our group of 8 had an incredible stay at the house. The house is well-stocked, very spacious, and in a beautiful setting. Phenomenal hiking is just up the road at St. Mary’s Glacier, and the town of Idaho Springs is also nearby and offers nice shopping. The house has everything you would need, and has many nice touches (eg a “key” explaining the relative matters firmness in each BR). We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Absolutely Beautiful

It is always fantastic to have a home match the photos and description. May not be the easiest to get to as it is located deep into the deeply wooded mountain, but that is exactly what we wanted. Night skies are brilliant without any external light, wildlife is abundant, hiking and outdoor activities are more than you will ever need. Beds and other amenities were fantastic.

We recently stayed at your house for a week!!! One word comes to mind “Heavenly!!”. The sound of the creek and scenery were next to none!! The grandkids caught and released numerous trout so there was no time to be on their phones or playing games. During the day some went hiking, some went to the Broncos training camp (that’s what you get with football coaches in the family), and some enjoyed a little shopping. The great thing was it was hot down the mountain but when we got back it was cool and wonderful!!! The hummingbirds kept us entertained. They are hungry little things so we filled their feeder numerous times!! Next to the last day my daughter-in-law was on the upper deck and saw the tree top move right in front of her. When she looked over the deck there was a Bull Moose (massive!!!). It looked right at her just a few feet away!! She came and got the rest of us. That is something we will never forget. We rent a house each year for our family and I have to say this one had it ALL!!! I am also a little leary every year looking for a house but David always made me feel at ease and confident that this was the place for us and it was. Perfect for the occasion

This spacious home accommodated the 12 of us so comfortably, with another 7 joining in for the day. The deck, stream, and the setting make it a perfect getaway for gathering all together and also in smaller groups so convenient from Denver. It was a clean and beautiful home in a stunning setting. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Family vacation 2024

The home was beautiful, spacious, and the many windows drew us to the outside.The surroundings were breathtaking with the river rushing by and surrounded by the tall forest. Our family spent a lot of time together in the "great room", out on the veranda, and going for walks. Definitely a wonderful place to get away, relax and spend time together as a family. Our family is primarily from Kansas, so one thing we were not fully prepared for was the elevation, but we adjusted. The location was remote but close enough to be able to run into town for essentials. Overall, a wonderful time and not long enough.

Family/Friends gathering in the mountains

Our stay at the Invincible Lodge was magical to say the least. The lodge was easily accessible, even in March after a snow storm which we were grateful for. The lodge was clean, spacious, and the decorations were so adorable too. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when we needed to. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed playing outside in the snow too! We definitely plan on visiting again!

Pre-wedding get together

We had planned a mini get together with some friends and family to celebrate the bride and groom to be, and this cabin was the perfect spot! The babbling brook just outside was relaxing, the large windows in the great room provided a beautiful scene for our mini-games, and there was enough room for everyone to hang out, but also wander off and get their alone time when needed. We would highly recommend this location!

Love this home!

This was our second time staying at the invincible lodge- our kids love playing in the creek and in the woods. The house is set up perfectly for a group- spaces to gather together and spaces for kids to play. We can’t wait until we can return!

Vous êtes reçu par David Steitz

We are the Steitz Family. We purchased this beautiful land in 1996. We enjoyed it for camping and hiking for many years. Our parents had a dream to build a "cabin" that the whole family could use together. Our dad began work on the bridge in October, 2003. He suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in February, 2004 of a heart attack. We decided to build "The Invincible Lodge" in his memory, and it was completed in May, 2007. The Invincible Lodge has already been a blessing to many people, Dad would be proud!

The beauty of this setting speaks for itself. The seclusion, the forest, the mountains create a spirit of quiet and relaxation. The soothing sound of rushing water eases away any tension in your body, mind and soul. It is truly a spiritually refreshing place, as Dad always said.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The Lodge is big enough to allow the whole family. We enjoy games, relaxing, building a fire, staring out the picture window at the mountains. It is truly a getaway. In the winter, we sled, snowmobile, snowshoe, or just stay warm by the fire. In the summer we hike, fish, mountain bike, run the trails, enjoy the wildflowers, have picnics by the creek!
