Gorgeous cabin/incredible location

Wow! This large rustic cabin is truly one of a kind. The setting and location are out of this world. The cabin was private, cozy and very comfortable for our party of 4 adults. We loved bbq-ing all of our meals on the deck. This place is magical.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is spacious, clean, and offers beautiful views. The trail access to St. Mary’s Glacier is a huge bonus, and the backyard access to the lake made it even better. Communication with Mary was excellent—quick, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great Views

The house was spacious and comfortable. Views of the lake & mountains were nothing short of amazing. We felt lucky to get some snow during our stay as well! Will stay again.

Wonderful Mountain Vacation

We had an amazing stay at Dreamcatcher! This was our family’s first trip out to Colorado and this property was perfect. Our group was 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The property had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the house is clean .The views from the house are breathtaking, we even got to see a mama moose and her calf at the lake! We took daily walks up to the glacier and did the white water rafting in town, which was a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing this amazing property!

Amazing views!

We loved this cabin on the lake! The enormous deck offered the most beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The house was very clean and cozy. Huge bonus was being within a short walk to the trail for St Mary’s Glacier. Definitely recommend this home!

We enjoyed the property and the location, although it could have been a bit cleaner and better stocked. Check in was flawless and Karen responded to questions very quickly. Be advised that the property is at 10,300 ft which may impact those sensitive to altitude

Christmas Get-Away

We truly enjoyed staying in the house! It had everything we needed with plenty of space for everyone to spread out! We had the best time and it was very relaxing. If I were going to have anything negative, more light would be good and plenty of matches/lighters to light the fire place. Those are very miniscule compared to the great things the home had to offer. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and Quiet

The home offered plenty of room for our family of 7. The hike to St. Mary's Glacier was a workout but the payoff was amazing! The deck was enormous and the view of the lake was peaceful and gorgeous. It was a long drive up and down the mountain but we knew that and planned activities accordingly. We could not find a broom or mop for the floors, and there was no dish rag for wiping down counters and the table when we finished cooking and eating. Paper towels don't do a sufficient job. I felt the only downfall was communication with the host. Response time to emails was lacking (usually 24 hours ... too long) and not all questions were answered. Overall, we enjoyed the property.

Beautiful and clean cabin

Our stay was great! The host went above before and throughout our stay to ensure our complete satisfaction. Traveling with young children, and a snow storm brings it challenges and Karen went above and beyond to ensure the entire stay went without flaw. The cabin was extremely clean, and equipped with all essentials to enjoy the snow.

Weekend Retreat

This was a beautiful house to stay in. Everything was nice and clean and we were able to relax. It was very challenging to get to and from (up a steep mountain and very snowy) even with a four wheeled drive car. Also, the video showed a hot tub, but there was no hot tub. We were very excited for this feature and were a bit caught off guard when there was not one. It was also a nice distance from St. Mary’s glacier which was convenient. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

The deck was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on deck at all times throughout the day/night. Fishing was great! The property does have two rods for use. St. Mary’s Glacier hike’s trailhead was a small walk from the cabin. Great hike...definitely worth it. Make sure to take a picnic lunch and enjoy the time out there! Beauty was completely unexpected!

Gorgeous lake view

We had a fabulous time! House was clean and comfortable. Views from deck are beautiful! We took kayaks and fishing poles. We went fishing every day and caught lots of trout. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks around the property as well. We had a fun and relaxing socially distanced vacation! Highly recommend this house, and we look forward to returning some day.

Beautiful Property

Had an amazing stay at the property. Amazing view and the cabin is clean. There were extra blankets for the colder nights and essentials were provided. Communication with host was great, she responded to questions in a timely manner. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great home. We would love to come back

Great location and excellent views. The house is beautiful. Was initially a bit bummed most of the lake was frozen still in May but the weather was still great and it didn’t dampen our time. No issues getting to the house. Our family was looking for a place to social distance and get some much needed R&R. Just what we needed. Only reason I’m not rating a 5 is because In all my travels there is always something minor that could enhance the experience but honestly I wouldn’t consider these deal breakers. No ice maker or spices, condiments so ensure you do bring these. kerosene was out for the fire pit the first night but Karen had someone come promptly the next morning. The power went out for a minute on the last night and threw the hot water off. We were able to resolve quickly by contacting the owner and she indicated where instructions were and my husband was able to get it back on. Overall Karen was very responsive and accommodating. She was great about answering my questions and providing a guide and instructions for the house. All necessities were provided. It would be a tremendous bonus if fishing poles were at the property to minimize having to pack those but we came prepared. I would definitely look forward to coming back later in the summer. My kids and family had a tremendous time and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway that’s in great proximity to outdoor activities.

Amazing

Due to our dream beach wedding being cancelled with COVID, we decided to elope and social distance. This cabin was AMAZING—even better than the pics. Karen was fantastic to communicate with and we can’t wait to go back.
