This oh so x-large cozy cabin is tucked away on a quiet street overlooking Center Hill lake near Hurricane Marina. Upon arrival, you'll feel like you're in the mountains or canopy of the rain forest in summer! You enter on the main level of the 3 level cabin(@3000 square foot) The open floor plan boasts tons of windows & natural light. Lower level has 2 bedrooms(1 KIng & 1 Queen) & 1 large full bathroom with walk in all tile shower.The top level bunk room (off the loft area) is a massive room with 1 queen bed and 2 sets of bunks. Sip coffee, grill out, read a book or just sit and enjoy the quiet & nature on one of 2 full wrapping decks- one of which provides year round lake views! Talk about a perfect place to unwind...

Only 7 minutes from INTERSTATE 40 makes for easy trips to/from almost anywhere in Middle Tennessee! This cabin provides multiple levels of living space- not only indoors but outdoors as well. Thoughtfully designed with touches of comfort everywhere .The porch swing is the size of a single bed and perfect for an afternoon read or nap . The location is an easy walk down to Hurricane Marina or Floating Mill Campground & Recreation area where there is a boat ramp or grab your floats and towels and enjoy the water without a boat at the "beach" (a roped off area with graduated slope for easy walk in access).
Enjoy a walk, run or bike ride around the neighborhood with an open cleared lake view on Floating Mill Village Road... Or hike the Lost Spring trail by the campground entry area. Enjoy the mornings by taking in the fresh air on the upper or lower deck. Need internet while here? No problem... Fiber internet has got you covered. Super overall location with proximity to Smithville(10 min) & Cookeville(20) for any of the following needs: groceries, Academy Sports, Sam's Club, dining, nails , coffee etc. Some popular area excursions include: Short Mountain Distillery, Evins Mill (day trip), DelMonaco Winery,Canoe The Caney, Harmony Lane (goat farm) and several State Parks and areas for hiking /waterfall adventures.

Much thought has been given towards making your stay enjoyable. Linens, limited toiletries,coffee and more are provided. Anything needed for cooking, gas grill, large table. Great Weekend Getaway with Amazing Views and close to Marina

House was perfect for our family of four plus kids friends. Sharon is an amazing host, flexible, and was always available for questions. Great communication! The house was as described, it is decorated nicely, clean, and has a wonderful feel, great wrap around decks, two levels. Yes the house was amazing, but the host Sharon was even more amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!! Bonus was it is really close to Hurricane marina, and the restaurant at the marina had really good food and drinks. Overall an amazing A+++++ Memorial weekend getaway!!!

Wonderful stay at the lake

We had a great time staying at Sharon's place. She was great at communicating and the house itself is gorgeous. It is very close to the marina and we were able to walk there to rent a boat. There is a restaurant at the marina which was great after a long day on the lake. The house was very clean and had tons of amenities. The view is great and the location is serene. There are wrap around balconies on both the main story and the basement story, which were both wonderful for hanging out and enjoying the view. The only thing I would keep in mind is that we stayed in the summer, and the basement (with 2 bedrooms) was significantly colder than the main floor or loft, so whoever is staying in the basement may want to bring long PJs. They have plenty of blankets around the house as well if needed.

Perfect for Lake Access

This property was clean, well managed, and just a short distance from the marina. It was very accommodating for 7 adults, awesome porch, and great view of the lake. Would definitely rent in the future!

The house was beautiful with so many different sitting areas for a quiet cup of coffee or teach homeschooling children. The Hummingbird was a plus seeing it fly at the window. The supplies in the house was an excellent addition. It was located in a great area to do day trips, or just hang at the beach. The owner was so kind and responsive!! We would definitely stay here again.

Extended family vacation

We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin. We had 5 adults and 5 children that all had enough room to relax and enjoy time together. The kids all stayed upstairs in the loft room with double bunk beds and queen size bed. The two bedrooms on the first floor were great- very comfortable and cool for a good night sleep. There is a daybed on the top floor that is nice and comfy for another adult. The owners have been very thoughtful in having the necessities available in case you may have forgotten something . There was a nice bottle of wine for us to enjoy as part of our stay- which the ladies thoroughly enjoyed! It felt as if we were staying at an extended family members home. We all appreciated and enjoyed all the extra touches and thoughtfulness. We look forward to making more memories At this cozy Cabin on CHL- center hill lake!! The location was a great morning walk to the hurricane marina - we all enjoyed this challenging hike:). I would like to say that the only potential downside to the cabin and marina would be the steep slopes that require descent physical ability and challenging for anyone that has difficulty climbing stairs.

We are a native Nashville family who love ALL things Tennessee. We want to share the tranquility of the Center Hill Lake and provide others with an opportunity to experience the beauty of this area!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The cozy feel of a cabin is undeniable, but this place is special and the location is pristine.
It will make you feel like you're in the mountains... and in the summer, like you're in the rain forest treetops with very little visibility of other houses.
The upper porch provides year round views of the lake. Soothing sunset views or morning water calm make the porches one of our favorite places to be. The lower porch ,as well as both lower bedrooms, have lake views for months when the leaves are down...

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We find the proximity to Interstate 40 to be such a bonus. Only being a few minutes off the exit, plus an easy straight shot to/from Nashville or Franklin or back towards Knoxville. Year round lake views are also one of our favorite things! We want to SEE the water when we're at the lake! In addition to upper street parking, we have a lower area as well...allowing for great cornhole games ,multiple cars, trucks, boats, outdoor vehicles or other pulled apparatus.
