50's Ski Town Meets Modern Flair

Location, location, location! Bring back the 50's skiing era mixed with updated flair. This place is so special to me because it was my parents and I grew up coming here! The Condo is centrally located in the town, with walking access to all restaurants, activities, and shops. Bus to ski area located directly at bottom of the condo complex. When I say, you do not need a car, I mean it. Bar life is directly across the street. No stairs, direct access to the elevator from the covered parking garage. Garden level access to barbecues, picnic tables, and the disc course. Recently remolded, the condo has natural sunlight and a fully-stocked gourmet kitchen. Come join us at the Aldrich Chateau!

Amazing Ski Weekend Retreat

One of the best ski vacation rentals our family has had the opportunity to stay at. Luxurious accommodations, all the comforts of home, great location, and easy to access the nearby activities. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect.

Great location

Had a wonderful stay at Christi's place. New decor, comfortable beds, lovely (warm!) fireplace, and well-appointed kitchen. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Check-in process was easy, and Christi was super responsive. Location was walkable to several retail shops.

lovely brief stay in WP

Apt. was as advertised and owner very responsive to questions. Beds comfy, fireplace nice and wonderful light with sliding door to outside which is a bonus. Would suggest directions/info could be a bit streamlined. Previous post described difficulty of finding under the condo garage--just use address. Some instrucitons for master bath were in drawer in BR and not ovbious if one is rushing..Location couldnt be better--walk to dinner, drink etc. Recommend highly!

Beautiful and centrally located condo

My wife and I greatly enjoyed Christi’s Winter Park condo for our ski vacation. It is very nicely furnished and decorated, the kitchen is well stocked, the condo is clean, bathrooms are beautiful with nice showers, both beds are quite comfortable, the temperature control is excellent through four individual thermostats, and the fireplace adds ambiance and warmth. The underground parking has plenty of spots available, all close to the elevator, and then a short walk to the room. The check-in and check-out process was easy and well described by Christi, who was very pleasant to deal with. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance, the free bus system works great with a stop right near the condo, and driving to the Resort and parking there was easy as well. I would highly recommend Christi’s condo for stays of any length of time.

Great condo with a few minor issues

This was a lovely condo in a great location downtown near shops and restaurants. It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and a great setup for a family. Some smaller details we appreciated included being stocked with coffee, hand soap, paper towels, zip top storage bags, and decent toilet paper (not the terrible thin type usually found in rentals). The sofas and beds were comfortable. The jetted tub was a nice option as an alternative to the public hot tubs. We had a few logistical issues, though. There is a free parking garage under the building, but the clearance is really low and our car plus Thule box wouldn't fit. There's still parking in the surface lot next to the building, but we had to cart our gear a lot further. There also isn't an obvious way to enter the building except through the garage, and the stairs to the garage are on the opposite side of the garage as the surface lot. It would have been nice to have more information provided about this before arriving. The building is located right next to a Lift stop, which is convenient in theory, but didn't end up working for us. We arrived at the bus stop with what should have been plenty of time to catch a bus to the base before ski school started at 9am, but watched 3 busses bypass our stop because they were full. We ended up getting in our car and just driving so we would arrive on time. Not the fault of the property owners, but still a hassle, so I wouldn't count on the bus system during busy times.

Great family spring break ski vacation

We had a wonderful time. The unit was clean and well furnished and stocked with toiletries , coffee etc. The location is very convenient with walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The only thing we could have used was a boot tray and a ski/board storage rack.

Wonderful WP Condo!

This condo was beautiful and clean! Conveniently located to the mountain. Our only issue was the hot tub being out of service which of course wasn’t the fault of the host. She was responsive and extremely accommodating! Would definitely stay again.

Condo was clean and in the perfect location. The garage parking was very nice since it was very cold and snowed. We hope to be back next year and this will be the first place I try to reserve.

Perfect spot for a snowy getaway.

We enjoyed a three-night stay , and we couldn’t be happier with the place. The location was perfect - close to many good eateries and places to shop. Transportation was very accessible, as well. A main hub of the free “Lift” was right by our entrance. Christi answered our questions promptly, and the condo was nicely stocked and very clean when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Perfect Stay

This condo we stayed at was fantastic. When we walked in it was just as we saw in the photos - gorgeous! It had been recently updated and was just impeccable. Everything was labeled nicely, and there were plenty of supplies. The location was fantastic - the bus pick up for the ski resort was just outside our door and there were many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The check in process was so easy. Christi was very easy to work with and was always very responsive. I highly recommend this condo and would definitely look to book again in the future.

Hello! I am a retired special education teacher. My family has been skiing (and boarding) in Winter Park since the mid-'40s. My favorite things in life are watching Yellowstone, sunny days at the lake and skiing down Drunken Frenchman.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The condo is conveniently located right on Main Street with a covered parking garage that leads directly to the elevator. The ski shuttle is steps away from the building with a variety of restaurants and shops also just steps away. The condo is on the south side with views of the ski runs at Winter Park Resort and sunshine throughout the day. Ground-level outdoor access in the dining room and guest bedroom.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Winter Park Resort is easily accessible from Denver by taking the train from Union Station. There is no need for a car but the condo does have covered parking with an elevator. A coin-operated laundry room is located on the 5th floor and on the 2nd floor are two hot tubs.
