Situated in a premier corner of Oakland's Grand Lake district, this brand new row home features three guest suites, each with private baths. On the main floor is an open plan living space with high-end designer furniture and smart home amenities.
The house is a short walk to Oakland's Lake Merritt and Grand Avenue. Here, you'll find the historic Grand Lake Theater and a wide array of shops, restaurants, and bars. On Saturdays, there is an open air farmers market offering fresh produce, prepared foods, and local vendors.
There is bus access at the end of the block and there are almost always shared scooters directly outside the property.
Overall a great stay with my family. Parking was a little challenging. Place was nice and spacious. I would stay again if in the area. Property manager was awesome and respond to questions timely.
My family really enjoyed staying at this townhouse. It is beautifully furnished but also comfortable. It worked really well for our two children (ages 15 and 12). Street parking was very easy as is highway access. I would absolutely stay again!
This is a lovely townhouse with excellent amenities. This was a business trip that allowed me to follow up on work from home while still interacting with my family. There was a desk in the living area with a charging station.I appreciated the evenings when I brought home takeout and ate on the terrace. There are lots of restaurants in the area as well as a Safeway and Trader Joe nearby. The dryer had the perfect setting for steam and de-wrinkle items from my bag. Small touches made it feel like home like the fully stocked spice rack, bidets in every restroom, and adjustable light switches/dimmers in most rooms. For parking, it's best to return before dark, otherwise, I just parked on the main road. Nothing major.
Really nice townhouse. 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and then one other for general use. Nice little patio, full living room/dining and kitchen. It's in a great location for North Eastern parents visiting their student/kids. (aka Mills College) Maybe a 12 minute ride to campus...15 tops. Easy to get there. The home is a good value as well.
Beautiful home, in a very nice neighborhood, well decorated and everything worked perfectly. The owner is very responsive to all questions and requests. We certainly recommend this home and we will book again for our next stay in San Francisco area.
We were so pleased with this gem of a property. It was very new, safe and clean. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of areas to lounge and relax. Our family of 4 really enjoyed having their own rooms and restrooms. The neighborhood was safe and convenient to nearby attractions. Would definitely consider staying again for a repeat trip to Oakland.
Luxury townhouse with everything you need for a group of 6! We truly loved staying at this comfortable and well decorated home. Beds are extremely comfortable, everything is clean and new, and the host was a great communicator! Thank you!
Stylish, well appointed, and special East Bay home.
Loved this property. Upscale, very comfortable, unique amongst rental properties. Best if you donât have a car to park as street parking is a challenge.
I would rate this place 1000 out of 100 if I could. Accurate photos and description. Easy to find and the place was sparkling clean upon arrival. As a VRBO Premier host, this house has all the bells and whistles that I plan to implement at my own place. Everything has been carefully thought out to make this stay the perfect getaway. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
This is a beautifully appointed 3 ensuite bedroom townhouse, on 3 levels. Located at the end of a quiet cul sac. Walking distance to shops and stores. A Whole Foods and Trader Joe's both fairly nearby. We were a family of 4 adults who spent the recent Christmas holiday here, and we were very pleased with this rental.
The property was beautiful. However, there was not "ample" parking on the street as described, so each adventure out was a challenge to find a parking space when returning. The master bedroom does receive a lot of traffic noise from the adjacent interstate. Overall, it was a fun property with easy highway access.
We stayed here with our 4 year old and really enjoyed it. Big, spacious rooms, quality appliances in the kitchen, and all very well maintained. Patrick was responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We had a couple of rainy days while we were there and had some cosy days staying in watching TV, doing a bit of cooking etc. It's a safe and friendly feeling part of Oakland with a nice little restaurant strip down the hill on Grand Ave. We also enjoyed walking across to the rose garden or down to Lake Merritt or the farmer's market on Saturday. The property is close to the highway but honestly you only hear it in the Master bedroom. We just popped in some earplugs at night and otherwise didn't notice it.
Patrick's place was great for my family of 4. We primarily used it as home base while we were in the area taking in sights and visiting friends. While i was a bit skeptical of Oakland, this area is a great, safe neighborhood. Very close to restaurants and shopping around Grand Lake. And very close to the highway for trips into SF or getaways to wine country. The row home was extremely comfortable. Each bedroom had ample space and was modern in decor. The open living room and kitchen was tastefully decorated. The bathrooms were well stocked with soaps, Q-tips, Shampoo. Also a plus were the bidets. We have them in our own home, so finding them here was a treat. The kitchen was stocked with basics, oil, spices, coffee, etc. Communication with Patrick was great. He would always respond within a matter of minutes. Parking was easy to find on the street. Highly recommend a stay here
Not allowed in until exactly 5:00 pm. Too late. Also not allowed to drive up an uphill driveway to unload baby and a lot of luggage. Unacceptable. Ac works. Stairs in
