Located in San Luis Obispo, this cottage is in the city center. While the natural beauty of Avila Hot Springs and Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Pismo Beach Pier.
San Luis Obispo Children's Museum and San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
This cottage had absolutely everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. It was by far the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. Check in and check out was a breeze. Great location for walking to the downtown area. We definitely hope to return! Perfect for a couple or small family.
Cozy, comfortable, everything we needed and more. Love the ability to walk to where we could shopy, sight-see and dine at great places. Felt safe and secure at all times. SLO was fun to explore and its proximity to numerous places of interest was a bonus. Quiet and restful location. Our kind of spot!
Great little house and location, but the hosts made it a superior experience, letting us know we could check in early and having a very well stocked property - coffee, spices, water, and tons of treats!
The accommodations were excellent: the hosts were gracious and welcoming with lots of lovely touches: a freezer full of pizzas and frozen treats, purified bottled water dispenser for hot and cold water, black-out curtains a renovated well stocked kitchen, yoga mat and weights, and so much more. The cottage is charming and comfortable and a short walk into downtown SLO through lovely neighborhoods. Can't wait to come back!
The hosts have gone out of their way to make this a HOME. All the amenities and more were there. By far, the best I have stayed at. Also, downtown is within walking distance, and the coast is a short drive. I would stay here again.
Small cottage but equipped with all possible needs, easy stroll to downtown, great coffee place right around the corner--who could ask for anything more?
The charming cottage was a perfect spot for our long weekend exploring SLO and the surrounding area. It is clear Beth and Paul love their little home and sharing it with others. The special treats in the freezer and plenty of coffee in the morning was a wonderful addition. The cottage had everything we needed. We had a great stay!
We loved everything about this charming 1930s cottage in SLO. Beautifully refurbished, comfortable and within walking distance of Old Town. We'll be back!
I was very pleasantly surprised how well this cottage fit our family. It's one of the best rentals I've stayed in due to the owner's attention to detail! Honestly, the description probably undersold how nice everything was. I would love to stay here again!
My family had a great time and felt relaxed the whole vacation. The house has everything you need...kitchen supplies, linens, towels, and a perfect location! Only 5 minutes to downtown and 15 min to 3 different beaches. We are definitely planning a future trip back!
Dave.
Very nice and cozy. Enjoyed walking to downtown. Comfortable digs, bed was wonderful! The house is adorable and loved the sense of humor in the notes. We met one of the resident kitties. Only complaint was the weather could have been a little warmer so we could enjoy the patio. But at least, no rain! Thanks for a lovely experience.
Beth and PJ are the owners. Beth was originally born and raised in SLO and wanted to return to her roots. Beth and PJ are both in the entertainment industry in LA and wanted to find a place where they could catch their breaths. And they found it. Here on Beebee St.
Beth was a performer on Broadway in New York, performing in Legally Blonde, Good Vibrations and Young Frankenstein. She is in a band called Totsy now and acts and writes for TV, as well.
PJ owns a successful production company called Gear 6 Productions, which has produced several IMAX educational films for the Discovery Science Center. He is also a commercial actor...with a Mercedes car commercial out this summer.
Together, they have worked their booties off to bring this house from drab to chic. They are very excited to open their home up to you. May you enjoy it as much as they have.
We wish you could see the transformation we did on this house. We took a house that needed a lot of love and gave it a big fat hug. This property is on a peaceful street, with a lovely breeze that gently rolls by. Close enough to downtown, but far enough away to hear the birds sing.
The swing on the front porch, as you listen to the birds chirp. The fun old school phone hanging in the kitchen. The diner style table and chairs. The zen-like garden. The rock signing garden! And close to downtown. Lots of character and lots of heart. This is your home away from home.
