Friday Haus is a pioneer style log cabin that was built in 1850. Located just a half block off West Main Street this gem boasts historic construction and has plenty of Fredericksburg charm! Two cozy bedrooms, both with Queen beds offer plenty of space for four guests. A full kitchen complete with full size refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and microwave provide just the space needed to stay in and enjoy your meals. After a long day of exploring our charming town, come back and take a soak in the relaxing clawfoot tub (w/ hand held shower), or enjoy the hot tub out back! ***** Rates for this property are based on double occupancy, additional persons beyond 2 will be charged $35 per person per night
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

We stayed in the Friday Haus far out 27 anniversary this house was amazing everything my wife wanted and more if you are into rustic cabins I would highly recommend this one

Fun Girls Trip

Thoughtful decor, comfortable beds, and great communication from host! Would highly recommend staying at Friday Haus. A few suggestions: a video with directions to open the lockbox. The chipped tub needs some attention and a shower would be a nice touch. Most concerning are the damaged windows with gaps and plexiglass that lets air in and out. You have a wonderful place with proximity to Main Street, but as a former VRBO owner, I know ideas for improvement are always welcome!

adorable little house

great little house, amazing history, everything was clean and fresh, comfy beds, slept great , peaceful street only a couple of blocks from all the restaurants and shops. Hot tub could have been cleaner, maybe had been forgotten-lots of leaves and debris in it but a minor thing I guess. otherwise a great stay !

Friday Haus- Timeless Gem

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Friday Haus. It was just as advertized online but maybe better. Thank you so much for sharing such a unique home with us. The history and proximity to all the shops and fesrivities downtown was fantastic!

History and Proximity

If you are looking for some great ease and access to Main Street and some history this is the spot. Add in a hot tub and good relaxation is had.

15 year anniversary getaway

We had the most amazing experience at Friday Haus. Not only was the cabin completely charming and filled with Texas history but had every modern convenience. The fire pit and hot tub outside made the crisp fall Texas evening in more eventful. Cabin was super clean with plenty of clean linens and towels. We thoroughly enjoy our stay. It was the perfect laid back setting we wanted to celebrate our 15 years as a married couple. Would love to come back with family and friends.

Friday Haus - A Very Special Place

Friday Haus is a very special place that exceeded my expectations. This one of the most charming places I have ever stayed. The living room is a very comfortable yet original 1851 log cabin. The house is laid out into two seamlessly connecting wings. One comprised a living room, a spacious dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized drip coffee maker. A short hallway to the right from the kitchen connects to two spacious queen bedrooms and a bathroom with a claw foot tub. The house was really comfortable for our group of four with excellent climate control from two separate zoned units. Every room in the house was beautifully curated with antiques and items of interest. I loved the sound of rain on the tin roof on the night of our arrival. Bathing choices are a little different. The claw foot tub has a short wand but has no shower. A large private outdoor shower with a rain shower head proved to be a bit low pressure but is serviceable. This city lot is surrounded by mature oaks and pecan trees. Three cars could park off the street with ease here. A fire pit with four very comfortable chairs outside and gas grill makes for a great place to lounge in the evening under the stars. I loved looking up at the blue sky in the morning and hearing the birds sing while I showered. Perfectly maintained hot tub was much appreciated but a bit too hot for me. It is usable but one really has to ease into a 109-degree hot tub that seemed to be preset. Since we were at the end of a longer trip, a washer and dryer would have been appreciated. Peeling paint and slight water damage at the exterior rear of the house mattered little to us. Just read the guest register books in the old trunk in the living room, and you will see that this place has touched the hearts of many. It touched ours too. This little house that is much bigger than it looks may have been my favorite part of our three-night Fredericksburg experience.

The property is amazing. You can see the original construction. Each room is beautiful, and the decor has been chosen thoughtfully to be comfortable while keeping with the aesthetic of the 19th century home. The location is perfect for exploring Main Street, but it’s also far enough from any noise that it was a peaceful setting. 100% recommend this property if you want a comfortable and authentic Fredericksburg experience!

The cabin was the perfect escape from our busy day to day life. So much history and the decor was warm and inviting. The neighborhood had similar old cabin homes, overall a welcoming home that makes you feel right at home!

The cabin is beautiful and cozy, perfectly located right off main street! The beds were comfy and the amenities were a great touch. Full kitchen with dishes and tool as well as a TV in the living room. And the hot tub was very clean as well!

Perfect Historic Cottage with Charm

This cabin is perfect for a stay in Fredericksburg. I love the original details, but it also has been updated with everything needed to make for a very comfortable stay as well. It is so easy to walk from the cabin to all of the shops and restaurants of the main street, but it's also on a very peaceful street. Lots of parking room. Very responsive management company and super easy check-in/out. Highly recommend! (May not be best for those with physical impairments/mobility issues, as the bathroom only has a deep soaking tub which could make getting in and out/up and down difficult, and the regular shower is outdoors down steps. That said, we loved it all and had no issues.
