Secluded setting yet only a few minutes from the village of Saugerties and the NYS Thruway for easy access to NYC or Albany. One level living with a nice chefs kitchen, very comfy living room, two very sweet bedrooms with queen beds and a third laundry room with a futon. Excellent place to call home base while you explore the wonders of Ulster County. You're going to need some time to see the local sites like Minnewaska and Mohonk, not to mention the endless miles of hiking trails here in the Catskills. The eclectic villages of Saugerties and Woodstock are nearby and are full of side walk shops and yummy restaurants. Saugerties is well known for it's many events such as HITS, yearly car shows and the Garlic Festival. Two beautiful ski resorts are nearby called Hunter and Windham and the mighty Hudson River is just to our east. Try to find some time to explore the Walkway over the Hudson and the many mansions on the east side of the Hudson such as Vanderbuilt and Mills. Find time for a meal at the Culinary Institute or the Mohonk Mtn House. Bring your bikes and your walking shoes to explore the countless miles of re-claimed rail trails here. Plan on some long days out and about followed by some great meals and some r+r time at home base. Better add a couple days to the plans!!
