This Cozy Saugerties retreat is ideal for a family or couples’ escape. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom A-Frame home sits secluded on a wooded, 1-acre lot with wonderful views of the Catskills Mountains.

Boasting a massive 24’ x 16’ outdoor deck, you can enjoy your morning coffee or nighttime star gazing. This rustic home also provides a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware, flatware, utensils & spices! Plus amenities such as Free Wi-Fi, 3 SmartTVs and an outdoor gas BBQ grill AND a Propane Fire Pit…. All making this the place to be for your next retreat year round. (AC & Heat)

Located less than a quarter-mile from #Opus40. This amazing Stone Sculpture Park hosts several art and musical events throughout the year and is the perfect place for an afternoon excursion.
A short drive into the Town of Saugerties, gives you a wide variety of places to shop and explore. There are many new Cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite.
You’re also just a 10 minute drive to Woodstock too!

As a friendly reminder…. You’re gonna be in the country. There are critters. That's part of the beauty of why you're visiting right? So, if you're going to roll around in the leaves or grass… walking in the woods and being out in the yard, then I highly recommend you take off your clothes put them in the dryer and run for 20 minutes, and then do the Hudson Valley / Saugerties foreplay, check each other all over !

Driving through the Catskills and taking in the incredible mountain scenery can be breathtaking. Whether you’re stopping at a local farm stand, hiking through the woods or taking long walks, returning home for snacks or cocktails is your reward.
Relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet on the deck as the sun sets over the mountains will certainly put you in an “A-Frame of Mind”

Saugerties Lighthouse and Overlook Mountain Trailhead are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kaaterskill Falls and Woodstock Golf Club. It was perfect.

The accommodations were excellent. We were a couple, but the house would be great for two couples. We loved the setting! The host has thought of everything, and the place is equipped to the max. Just bring yourself! Perfect location to explore the area.

I can't wait to come back, they. I loved it, It is super quiet, very stylish, huge windows to look at the trees. birds outside, very very good restaurants in a 10 minute drive. Great!

The perfect place to unwind and relax

From the moment we booked this rental to the time of checkout, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The booking process was effortless, and communication with the host was prompt and clear. The property is nestled on a serene clearing surrounded by woods, offering a tranquil retreat. The neighborhood exudes peace and quiet, making it feel as though you have the entire area to yourself. The seclusion and privacy of the location were exactly what we were looking for. It provided a sense of escape and allowed us to unwind and recharge. As for the house itself, it was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed for efficiency. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Nick went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. His warm and hospitable demeanor, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail, truly made our experience memorable. Overall, we highly recommend this rental for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. We look forward to returning to this spot again. Wonderful cabin in the woods

Close to the mountains for skiing, miles and miles of hiking and x-country skiing trails, less than 10 minutes from Levon Helms studio for amazing music and eclectic adventures in Woodstock. Owner was spot on and friendly with communication, home was clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Can’t wait to return!

I wish I was still there as I write these accolades for both the house and for Nick! The pictures do not do justice. The house captured the rustic feel that I wanted with the comfort of modern amenities. It was perfect. The grounds were expansive enough to provide privacy- and safety. The location was perfect- 15 minutes away from Woodstock, which allowed the feel of your own private hideaway and the convenience of being close to the center (and other attractions, as well). Nick was a gracious host- both before our arrival and during our stay. He was always accessible, and essential. During a storm there was a widespread power outage. Nick contacted us and remained in constant contact with the electric company to provide us with updates. (It did not last long and provided an unneeded excuse to stay inside the cozy cabin with the rain outside.) Nick most definitely contributed to the reason we are already talking about coming back in the Fall!

I've loved having this place in the Catskills since 1995. I've done so many updates and don't have as much time to use it and appreciate it as I once did. As guests, I hope you find this little A-Frame house to be as calming, relaxing and peaceful as I have for many years.
It's an amazing place to get away form the insanity of life, even if only for a few days.

The house is just a few miles from the town of Saugerties and very close to the town of Woodstock too!
