New Breathtaking Catskill Retreat with Views and Hot Tub, The Nest Retreat in Woodstock Catskill

Location is everything! It is just a couple of miles from Woodstock village on a quiet dead-end road. Ashokan Reservoir views are spectacular on this road, which is perfect for walking. This beautiful contemporary/rustic home makes the perfect serene retreat. The home was recently fully renovated with attention to detail and a unique flare. It is nestled among the trees, so in the summer, it has a tree house private feel. The inside is stunning: bright and airy with huge windows that let in tons of light. So Special!

Downstairs, you'll find a gorgeous living room/great room with 16 ft ceilings, double-height windows, beautiful hardwood floors. This cozy living space is complemented by a cast iron gas heating stove used as the primary source of heat. Both the living room (with sliding glass doors) and dining room face the reservoir. There's an en suite bedroom on that floor with a Full size bed and bathroom. Upstairs is an open lofted bedroom with a queen-size bed, as well as has a small additional bedroom area and a bathroom and sitting alcove. Located on one of the Woodstock areas most coveted and exclusive roads, famed for its exceptional views and rich artistic history. Van Morrison lived on this block, as well as it was the location of the living art work of Clarence Schmidt's 'House of Mirrors'. Best of all, you have views of the Ashokan reservoir in late fall, winter and early spring from the house. The views during those months are breathtaking! Sunsets and Sunrises as well are visible from this road and house. It is truly a unique and magical place!

We recently added a Hot Tub on an outdoor stone patio. A blissful addition to complete the perfect Retreat home. *Please Note: Use of the Hot tub is at your own risk. No children under 12 are allowed in the hot tub and people under 16 years old, are allowed with adult supervision only. Please do not use the hot tub if you have any health risks that are not approved by a doctor for Hot tub use. Thank you for your cooperation!
