The house is nice but the fenced in backyard, and ability to bring your pets, really sets this rental apart from others. The backyard is large and is accessible through the back door, which was extremely convenient. The location was close to town but still quiet, and communication with the owners was excellent. Definitely recommend!
We had a great winter weekend getaway in Cambridge. Bringing our dog with us, she loved the big, fenced-in yard and the short walk to a park along the water. A quick drive into the town center gave us a number of cute restaurants and shops. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, warm, and welcoming. And Elizabeth was a great host with plenty of suggestions for us to try while in town. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!
The house had pictures postedthat were not accurate. The home was extremely dirtyand apparantly has not had a good deep cleaning in years. The screened in porch was not screened floor and grill filthy. The yard for pets adequate in size however very overgrown and grass was very long. Ceiling fan in kitche n so dusty it was falling off the blades.in its day was a very desirable property however the severe neglect has taken its toll. Rotten wood around the porch has left many opportunities for bee/hornet nests. Could be a wonderful rental with a deep cleaning and repair and maintenance to the physical structure and pet fence.
Our parents paid for a bed & breakfast weekend in Cambridge for our 5th wedding anniversary (more than a decade ago!), and we returned to Cambridge just about every year after that ... until during one of our vacation weeks we happened to rent a VRBO from a Realtor and bought a house. We swear our blood pressure drops as soon as we cross the river. We love Cambridge and we hope you will, too. It has a lot of character!
