Welcome to our cozy one bedroom condo located in the heart of the breathtaking mountains of West Virginia! This charming retreat is the perfect getaway for hiking enthusiasts, as it's situated just minutes away from the world-renowned Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.

Inside, you'll find a well-appointed living space that's tastefully decorated with warm, earthy tones and rustic accents. The living room features a plush sleeper sofa, handmade chairs, and a smart TV for you to unwind after a long day of hiking. Comfortable, clean and great location

This is a cute place with a relaxed ski vibe. We were a couple with a grown daughter so it was the perfect amount of space. It is a very easy short walk across a parking lot to the bunny slope. Very quiet. A beautiful view of the creek right next to the porch, out the back sliding doors. Kitchen was well furnished and roomy, mattress in the bedroom was excellent (nice and firm). Great communication with our host.

Cozy Ski Cabin with wood burning fireplace

What a gem. This is a superb listing with a well outfitted kitchen with modern appliances: microwave, dishwasher, fridge, oven, coffee maker. Plenty of utensils and kitchenware. The bed is comfortable and warm. The set up is ideal for skiing with ski and pole holds on the porch, hangers in the entryway for equipment and floor heaters for boots. There’s even a wood burning fireplace! A little stream gurgles outside the sliding glass back door with chairs on the patio overlooking the idyllic mountain forest. This is NOT a ski in ski out location but rather is on the other side of the ski lodge’s parking lot within a short easy walk across a bridge over another gurgling creek. There are many cabins along the ski trails but this one is not one of those and in my opinion, that’s a plus. The homes on the mountainside were snowed in and inaccessible. We lost the key on the mountain and the owner solved our problem with one phone call. Life saver! We’ll be back.

New Year's at Timberline-Stay Here! Clean, Cute, Cozy!

This awesome clean cute cozy ski slope walkable one bedroom (with sofa pull-out would be fine for 2 smaller kids or just one small person) condo on the bottom floor (owner on top does not rent his out so that was nice to not have kids or a group upstairs) was PERFECT for our New Year's Eve weekend ski get-a-way! The creek out back was beautiful and soothing, too. walk to the slopes across the street using the foot bridge. SO EASY. Nic was wonderful and quick to respond when the previous renters took the parking pass by accident. Coming back for sure!

Great location - Not so great necessities

The condo is very close to the ski resort and the layout is great. It also looks just like the photos. Most appreciated! Also, the Vrbo host was super responsive. Our lower rating for cleanliness is because the duvet, oven mitts, and bathroom sink were very dirty. In addition, the following were missing; scissors, containers with matching lids, foil, non-stick whisks to use on the non-stick pans, extra trash bags, and enough toilet paper.

Reasonable Rates and Short Walk to slopes!

Comfy bed, tidy little kitchen, and cozy living room with fireplace - all convenient to Timberline ski resort ! Apartment was warm and quiet and check in was a breeze. Not Uber glam, but totally sufficient if you are there primarily to ski or hike! Also a beautiful babbling brook just steps from the back porch. Lovely! Recommend highly!

Ski trip

Condo has easy access to slopes. Bedroom and bathroom were fine kitchen could have been cleaner also very few pots and pans for cooking in the kitchen. Heater in bathroom not working Pull out sofa in main room is a little worn could use an upgrade. Fireplace was nice would stay again

Beautiful place, incredible location, Great communication

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with our two year old son. I’m pregnant so I can’t ski :( but the location was perfect for a short stroll to the slopes. Property owners messaged back quickly. The place was perfectly clean and well decorated.

Winter Weekend

We had a great time. The location is fabulous! It was so easy to just walk over to the slopes and get on the lift. We came back to Nic's place for lunch and then went right back out. We could just toss our damp clothes in the dryer to get them nice and toasty before hitting the slopes again and then that night we warmed up by the fire and played games. Great place. Also, Nic was very quick to respond when we reached out.

Ski Weekend

The condo was well cared for and newly remodeled. Perfect location for our ski adventure with easy access to the slopes. Nic was great to work with and we would highly recommend this spot. Timberline Mountain is a hidden gem that never disappoints.

Great host!

This was the perfect condo for a couple who love to ski. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with updated kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher!) and a great bed. The bathroom was spotless! The host, Nic, was so very nice to work with. From our first correspondence until our departure he was very prompt in responding to emails (within minutes!) and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Definitely one of the best VRBO hosts I've dealt with.

As described; great owner communication

The property was exactly as shown and described in the pictures. The river running behind it was beautiful with the fall leaves. It is a quiet area this time of year. My only issue was personal as GPS wanted to send me into the W Timberline lodge to find the condo, so if yours does, just cut left through the parking lot and you'll find your final road for the place. The owner was very polite and quick to respond to any question. I would recommend and consider staying here again.

Clean

Property was very clean. A little warm in the summer heat but plenty of fans to help cool the place down at night. Lots of outdoor opportunities nearby. We loved the sound of the stream in the back yard in the evenings, so peaceful!
