Cozy Modern Catskills Getaway!

Welcome to Ollies House, named after the love for my rescue pup Oliver. Situated on 5 peaceful and private acres. The home is newly renovated and furnished, featuring an indoor wood burning fireplace, 3 br and 2 ba. Ollies House is a great choice for those looking to be active or enjoy a staycation. Located in the heart of the Catskills the house is minutes from Belleayre and 35 mins to Hunter. Situated between Margaretville and Phoenicia with tons of things to do in the area.

The house has undergone recent renovations and was recently furnished giving it a current and tranquil design. Almost all the items inside are brand new and modern (mostly West Elm and Crate & Barrel) including the silverware and dishware. The house has been thoughtfully stocked with all of the essentials for a home away from home (plates, cups, wine glasses, cooking essentials etc). High end linens, towels, sheets, and pillows are all provided. Toiletries are also provided (toothpaste, shampoo, soap etc).

This house faces East/West therefore it gets amazing sun all day! There are plenty of windows so the house feels light, bright, and airy. It is equipped with blazing fast internet (fiber optic 200mbps+) and full cell service for those that are WFH and cannot fully disconnect. Split unit A/C unit was installed so there is no issue on those hot summer days. For those looking to relax, build a fire and start streaming on the flat screen, play one of the board games provided, or take a walk down the road to Cody’s Sugar Shack (mentioned in my tailored guide).

A gas grill is available for your use as well as a fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the backyard. Everything you would need to cook and serve is included. The goal of this home was to create a luxurious boutique hotel-like experience. For those into nature, great wildlife is right outside of your window and even better stargazing on clear nights! The house feels remote enough but you're only a few minutes to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants (some of the best in the Catskills) and even a distillery with award winning local Vodka! Finally, don’t forget to walk down the road for fresh eggs / produce from my neighbors working farm in the mornings. The eggs are laid the night before-- farm to table at its finest!
