Magnifiquement ferme rénovée, circa 1878, meublé avec des antiquités et des objets d'époque. Trois chambres, deux salles de bains. Grand plan d'étage - cuisine moderne sur la grande bien aménagée salle à manger pouvant accueillir huit à dix personnes confortablement. Portes françaises ouvrent sur le jardin aux murs de pierre. Confortable salon avec cheminée en pierre et Baldwin piano. Téléviseurs à écran plat avec câble dans toutes les chambres, et grand écran plat dans le salon. Air conditionné dans toutes les chambres. Très bien isolée, aussi. Grand porche wrap-around avec charme des meubles en osier, et le pont au large de la chambre des maîtres pour la visualisation étoiles. Sur un acre de propriété. Tous les nouveaux appareils dans la cuisine, barbecue à gaz porte de la cuisine à l'extérieur, et laveuse sécheuse. Demi-heure de Kingston, NY, à vingt minutes de Woodstock. What a great Christmas stay!

We loved our stay at this property. This was our second time staying at Marty's home and it was fantastic! She even set up a Christmas tree for us. Fully equipped kitchen, great fireplace, comfy beds, great location. Highly recommend!

Amazing house perfect for any stay! Had the best time there for a snowboarding weekend. Very close to mountain. Owners were very easy to communicate with and had no issues at all. Would definitely recommend!!

This was a return stay and I enjoyed the home even more the second time. We had everything we needed to cook large family meals. We slept Calvert comfortably and were nice and cozy. The bath was a soothing treat after several days of skiing.

Comfortable home perfect for holiday getaway

We were looking for a place to bring our family together for Christmas and New Years that would feel like home, and Marty’s beautiful farmhouse fit the bill perfectly. It felt like home and we even managed to create our traditional holiday meals in the well furnished kitchen and dining room. It was a wonderful escape in a beautiful location. Relaxing, Refreshing Scenic Vacation

This is my second time staying here and I will return. the first time my adult children and grandchildren stayed with us and this time it was me and my spouse. The house is everything as described and the location was perfect. The kitchen was recently updated with all new appliances and there are outdoor balconies and porches to enjoy the surroundings! Marty responded in a timely manner to all my emails and texts. A real vacation!

Wonderful Farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse for a ski trip during Presidents' Day week. The house is within 10 min drive from Belleayre and 30 min from Hunter. Everything is tastefully decorated and very homey. We cooked several meals. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, etc. for a big group. The host (Marty) was great and responded to all my inquiries promptly. Thanks Marty! We will be back!

A magical getaway

From the moment we stepped out of the car, we knew our stay here would be special. The house is just gorgeous -- filled with so many unique and charming decorative touches and warm and inviting. Even though it's right off the highway, we still felt very much like were tucked into a mountain retreat. There's something so peaceful and restorative in the air and the energy throughout the property felt good. Marty was wonderful -- easily reachable and happy to answer any questions we might have while providing helpful tips, like do no miss stargazing! :-) Our family had a wonderful, restful time here. We spent as much time lounging on the porch as we did wandering nearby towns and got in some hiking too!

Highly recommended - charming house, charming hostess

This is a beautifully laid out, spacious house with generous yard, and a charming, communicative and helpful hostess, Martha. Martha leaves the home in a warm, fully furnished, fully equipped, clean and tidy state that makes you feel you're staying with a close friend. It is well located with plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling or skiing in the winter, with Woodstock within easy driving distance. Martha particularly deserves mention - she went out of her way to help our family enjoy our stay, including purchasing a desk to help my daughter with her studies. This exemplifies how Martha makes her clients feel at home.

Beautiful

Martha (Marty) is a wonderful hostess. All of our questions were answered immediately. The house is gorgeous and decorated delightfully. We spent so much time on the porch. Beautiful flowers, comfortable furniture, hummingbirds and even a baby bunny hopped up for taste of the trumpet flowers. There were only two of us but the house is big enough for plenty more. There are TV's in every bedroom. Air conditioners in all the bedrooms kept us cool even though temps were close to 100. The rest of the house felt cool and comfortable all day. Can't wait to go back as I wasn't able to soak in that amazing tub or use the fire pit as it was just too hot. The fire pit was all set up and ready to go - darn heat. The barn is so cute and looks so comfortable with a couple more beds and yes, a tv too. The yard is huge and perfect for a game of corn hole or whatever you have. Everything you need is there - sometimes in multiples. Kitchen is big and perfect for "group cooking". Absolutely can't go wrong staying here! I need to check availability and plan my next visit.

Beautiful, spacious and equipped house perfect for exploring

We just finished a marvelous three night stay in Shandaken. Martha was quite possibly the best host I've ever had when renting a home- she was quick to reply with information and recommendations. She really took care of my Family. The house is outstanding- large, spacious and generously equipped with anything you'd need! Towels and paper products were abundant. We were able to use the washer dryer which was wonderful. The house is centrally located for hiking and restaurants and exploring the Catskills. We highly recommend Martha's home and hope to return again!

Great home for a ski vacation!

A perfect house for a big family. Many rooms and pretty spacious; truly felt like I was at home. Super close to Belleayre Mountain (5 min drive) and within 30 min to Hunter, Plattekill, and Windham. Cute, small town nearby with different restaurants and stores. The owner was absolutely delightful and responded very quickly to any of my questions/concerns. For sure will definitely come back again.
