Tastefully appointed ocean front home with dramatic ocean views

Berk: Unit 35E Lot 68. This is a spacious home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The first level includes a bedroom with one queen bed as well as a room with two twin beds and both bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The half bathroom is located on the second level landing which is also the level the master bedroom is on. The master bedroom has a king bed, gas fireplace and attached bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub. A couple steps up is the dining, living and kitchen with sweeping ocean views, large decks, large window seats. The *new* hot tub (installed November 2025) is on the deck overlooking ocean.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 2-car garage available. No RV's

We had a lovely stay. The living space was great, and the kitchen well suited to cooking a big meal. Views and sunsets were spectacular.

The house was beautiful and functional, and the location couldn't be beat. I've also rented through Vacasa before when visiting Sea Ranch, and found this rental experience much easier. Our visit aligned with the very strong storm conditions this winter, which led to a blackout (of no fault of the rental agency, of course), but they remained responsive to helping us sort through issues that arose during the outage/over the holiday.

Reviewer Comments: We love this home and it really suits our needs. Very room. Only problem we had one morning a man was at our porch taking photos of the house. He asked our nice who she was as if its his business. Latter we got a phone call from Beach Rentals saying we should not have our lights left on at the front door after 10pm. If I had been told that we would not have done it. We generally follow all the rules. Also it concerns me that someone would come onto the property and be taking phots and not introduce himself and say what he was doing. I think next year we may choose another home. Kinda tier having a Gladys Cravitts snoring around. Get a light fella

Great house, perfect location. We particularly loved the main living room and all the seating along the windows. We saw whales while washing dishes. It was a great vacation home.

We often vacation here for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc. It couldn’t have been better. We think about this place often and how dreamy the entire experience was. The location was unsurpassed. The aesthetic was amazing. Everything was perfect even as I reminisce about it 2 years later. This house was everything.

We did have some trouble with the TV this time and one bedroom plus the fireplace was out of order/unable to be used, but it didn't hamper our stay. The kids were teary eyed when we left because they love it so much, we can't wait to come back!

There is still a window in LR that needs to be re-sealed. The kitchen is very well stocked with lots of good glasses, utensils and pans. We enjoyed the location very much but wish we did not have to drive North into Gualala to get the keys as we came from the south. House itself is as described and we had a lovely stay.

Very comfortable

The views are amazing. Beds and great room furniture comfortable. We were a three-generation group and the configuration of the bedrooms was perfect for us. DO remember to bring: all condiments, spices, plastic baggies, auto dish soap, hand dish soap, all personal bathroom supplies except bar soap, an extra roll of paper towels (one supplied but no napkins). The kitchen has lots of pots/pans, tons of dishes, very few glasses so these we washed by hand so they could be reused. Enjoyed the beach and basically had it to ourselves.

Very comfortable living and lounging. The home has beautiful views of the coast.Large kitchen for cooking however the kitchen supplies and essentials need to be updated/replaced-no large platters for serving. The house could use a very deep cleaning to make it a 5 star stay.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed at this property for a week and the views are stunning and the house is architecturally pleasing, The kitchen is not well appointed, no set of measuring spoons and no spatula. We had an issue with one of the fireplaces not working and the rental company and owner were very fair in dealing with it. The lighting system is not intuitive and there was no information at the house on lighting or use of the TV which didn't work initially.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice time and the house is in a good location. No beaches to walk down to but we walked the bluff trail and it was beautiful! The house was clean and well appointed. The only problem was some of the windows have no screens and had to open them cause it was very warm letting bugs in. Air conditioning barely works, so cooling with all windows open is the only way to cool off. A ceiling fan for the living room would help a lot! House has 3 levels and so a lot of up and down to go to kitchen/living room and bathroom and bedrooms. Would recommend this home for young families, not seniors.Saw many whales and deer and a fox too! Enjoyed our stay, hot tub was nice also.

The house and the location are just stunning. This was one of the most serene places we've ever stayed. Happy to report that the complaints (which did make us a little apprehensive about this place) were either unfounded or addressed by the owners: - Kitchen was well stocked: pots, pans, utensils--you can cook a modestly-ambitious meal here. The bad: the spices were scant, and the pop-up toaster didn't work (but they have a toaster oven/air fryer!). - House overall was in great shape. Some reviews made it sound dingy, but that was not our experience. There are some nitpicks, but overall very clean and well kept. We saw a few ants, but not enough to worry about at all. - Hot tub worked perfectly. I think we'll be back. The location is unbeatable; it feels like you have the whole shore to yourself. We walked for 2 hours and only saw 3 people. Maybe that's our reward for staying on a weekend with rain in the forecast. Views of the ocean are unobstructed. There's a cluster of large rocks 100ft or so off shore that attracts birds and produce big sprays of water, and you can sit anywhere in the living room and watch. The house is on the northern end of sea ranch, so you can get into Gualala in a few minutes for groceries, dinner, etc.
