Dog friendly Sea Ranch getaway nestled in-between the ocean and golf course
A nicely updated 2 bed 2 bath home with common area meadow in front providing an unobstructed view to the ocean and meadow behind. The living room and dining area are located in the front of the residence providing nice meadow and ocean views. The bedrooms are located in the back of the residence and have views of the meadow which borders the now closed golf course and are set far back enough from the living room to provide privacy and quiet. Hot tub located in private patio area in the front of the residence. Parking passes provided with full access to rec center with pool. Just minutes to the coastal trail and close to beach access. I am unable to accept bookings on the same day a party is checking out as that doesn't allow the cleaning crew sufficient time to clean. Next day bookings are fine. Normal stays require a (2) night minimum, major holiday weekend stays are a (3) night minimum and stays over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays are a (4) night minimum. **Calendar is updated daily**

This property is in a great location and is exactly as described/pictured. Host was responsive to questions and the house provided all the basic needed amenities. Highly recommend.
This was the second time we stayed at this Sea Ranch house, and we had another wonderful 6-day stay. The house is very comfortable in every way and has a lovely view of the ocean across a meadow. The master bedroom bed is excellent, and both bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen worked well for us as we ate in most of the time. Several Sea Ranch trails are just a short walk away which we and our dog really enjoyed. We look forward to our next stay here!
Perfect location that was less than half mile from the coast. The house was comfortable and clean. The owner was very responsive to our questions and made the check in process easy. This is the second time weâve stayed there and will do so again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kirkâs cozy sea ranch home. Everything was pristine and comfortableâ we spent most of our time having cocktails on the porch, soaking in the hot tub, and strolling along the ocean-side with our dog. Much to our surprise, we were able to see humpback whales from the porchâ even without binoculars (though they did help). Overall perfect weekend away from the city. Highly recommend!
The house has a nice view of the ocean from the front rooms and deck and a view of the golf course from the back of the house. The house is very nice and could comfortably accommodate 4 people. We would recommend it to others looking for a place to stay at Sea Ranch
This home is spacious, clean, and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful views of the ocean and meadows. We saw red winged blackbirds, rabbits, foxes and deer sometimes in front of the house and sometimes on our daily walks. The house is close to the bluff trail and Gualala Point Park. We swam in the heated pool at the rec center and used their sauna. Kirk is an excellent communicator and everything was easy and wonderful.
Had a wonderful time at this property. Close to town, great walking trails, and Gualala Point Park. Hot tub was nice especially on the rainy evenings. Pup loved the deer and rabbits all around. Washers was a bit wonky, only could do small loads, but dryer worked great and it was nice to have laundry facilities available.
2nd visit in 1 year - perfect location with quick access to the Ocean Trail and minutes to Gualala. Comfortable King Mattress in Primary bedroom and excellent water pressure.
My dad, brother, Labrador and I had a wonderful time. The house was perfect location and perfect format for alone and together time. Has all the amenities we needed and the hot tub was a nice bonus after hours spent adventuring. Hope to return soon!
This is a great home for 2 couples or a small family. The bedrooms are in the back of the house which allows the front to be all windows and all view. 5 minute walk to the coastal trail. Kirk was responsive and all went well.
My parents were some of the original buyers at Sea Ranch. I have a lot of great memories of visiting them here. I would often fly in and buzz their house which would be my signal to have them come pick me up at the Sea Ranch Airport. Ever since they sold their property I was hopeful of some day being able to own a place at Sea Ranch as it has been such a big part of my family. My dad especially loved it here and had written a number of articles for the Soundings, a Sea Ranch publication. When I took ownership of the property from the former owners, I was pleasantly surprised to find on a shelf in the kitchen a booklet published by the Sea Ranch Association entitled, By the Ocean, which was comprised off a compilation of a number of articles that my dad had written for the Soundings about local marine life. This just seemed to reinforce that I made the correct decision to purchase this property. My dad, who passed away a few years ago, I think would have approved and this was his way of letting me know. The house is named after him.
This property I believe is in a really nice location (of course it is hard to find a bad location here) being nestled in between two meadows and having a view of the ocean with a short walk to the coastal trail.
