Cozy and clean

Great place to stay

This property was great. Perfect for 2 people. Overall property is clean and pool is well maintained. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance and property is across street from beach. No problem with linens and extras being available. I would stay here again.

Another wonderful stay. Let me tell you Dave is an amazing host. He is prompt when communicating and always has our best interest. This is the only place I will stay because we love everything about the place.

Great little spot

The property is so cute and easily accessible. It is a literal one minute walk from the beach, which was beautiful. There is an umbrella and chairs in the unit, which saves you the money if you don’t want to rent them on the beach. Dave was super communicative, and the neighbors were SO, SO friendly and kind. When I come back to Madeira, I’ll be hoping this place is available.

Cute place, beautiful location!

I come to Gulf Gardens once a year. Great location, the most beautiful beaches and this resort is steps away from the beach. The units are old but clean and comfortable which is all we require. We aren’t there much. Beautiful pool area as well. The property manager is so nice and helpful. We will be back!

Beautiful and clean

This was the 2nd place that we stayed at in one of Dave’s places. It was fully stocked, clean and nicely decorated. Dave was wonderful to work with, and was the perfect host. We loved that the parking was close and that we were just off the pool. Caddies restaurant and bar is just across the street and just a five minute walk, if not closer. We loved the pool in the evenings after a long day site seeing as well! I would definitely stay there again!

This was a perfect little spot. The beach across the street is why i picked this location. The beach is beautiful and you can see it from our balcony. Bathroom is small but thats not why i was there . The pool was lovely and the people were nice too. I would definitely return.

We enjoyed the area very much. This is a fabulous location with great dining options, good beaches, excellent area amenities, close store, family feel at the property, all kinds of shops and activities at John’s pass, like a pirate ship cruise, jet skis parasailing and more. The pool was great and the people staying there were regular visitors and those that not regular all great, the owner worked out any details needed with us to our satisfaction we appreciate the personal touch. Thanks and hope to stay again ! We would recommend this space to others, I’ve stayed many places in the Tampa st Pete area and this one excels in customer service

Nice getaway

Great little place. Easy walk to the beach & Caddy’s restaurant. Small bathroom so if you travel with a lot of stuff like I do not a lot of storage. But the water pressure is amazing! Lol

Perfect for Us

This place was great! Stayed here with my boyfriend for a couple days as we had a wedding to go to in the area. It was the perfect size for the two of us and just across the street from the beach. The bathroom had shampoo and other things one would need for a shower, which I really appreciated as we only brought carry-on bags. A small note but the freezer came with an ice machine. As someone who only drinks cold beverages, this was a very nice surprise. The property owner was great and very easy to get ahold of. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Room for a Few Days at the Beach

Not the biggest living space but it provided everything we needed for a few days at the beach. Really nice that the host provided beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for us to use while we were there. My only issues is that the shower space felt like it needed some updating and the tv in the living room was really slow. Other than that, this was great. Super easy check in and out, and the host was very responsive.

The Manatee, Cottage #11

The owner was amazing about communicating with us. We flew in and he told me they had 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler & stuff for the pool & beach. They even had 2 beach towels. Everything was so well stocked and very clean. It was a small, cute older little cottage on the 2nd floor but it was just as described & perfect for just me & my daughter. Perfect location, close to everything. We walked to several restaurants & the beach is just across the street. Would definitely stay there again! And everyone staying there was super nice. We had fun talking with other guests. All around great experience!

Property manager slash maintenance boy is a rude ass. Clearly favors certain tennants. Feel like you are at Ft. Knox with cameras watching your every move. If you are 70yrs old or older this is the place for you. If not stay away

HOST WARNING: Do not rent to this guest!! The noise complaints continued for 3 weeks and came from multiple guests, owners and property manager. One excuse he used was that he sat on a needle on the couch, but that doesn’t explain 3 weeks of screaming inside and outside the unit back and forth with your wife. However that pales in comparison to the smoking disaster inside the unit. The entire unit smells like a 1970’s smokers lounge. I’ve spent 2 days cleaning and deodorizing, even resorting to an ozone machine and it’s all barely made a dent. This total loser sat in the bed and smoked all day as it’s the worst in the bedroom. It appears to have gotten into the mattress and box spring. This is the kind of guest that makes you second guess being in the rental business. My cleaning people were beside themselves. Did I also mention the animal hair on the couch and pillows? Yes he snuck an animal in there too. Total disregard for any owner property rules. He will NEVER be welcome back at Gulf Gardens.

Room very comfortable. Get rid of Verizon!!! Can’t keep up. Controllers hard to use. Channel with one and volume the other is a joke. But would still visit again.

Thanks for the feedback Kenneth. It’s actually not Verizon, it’s Spectrum for both internet and TV. There isn’t another option out there yet but Verizon is putting in FIOS all around us so maybe one day. I’m not sure why you had that trouble with the remote but I use the Spectrum remote for everything…power, volume and channels.

Cute, cozy, clean beach condo

My two sisters and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location was great - a 5 min walk to the beach. If we forgot anything it was easy to go back and get it. The condo was clean and looked kept up. Two of us shared the bed and one had the air mattress. We knew that someone would need to sleep on the air mattress when we booked the condo. It had everything we needed - an umbrella, chairs, etc. The neighborhood is pretty low key but a couple restaurants close by if you don't want to walk far. The pool area was nice and clean. Overall well kept and well managed. My sisters and I are of average size and we're used to making smaller spaces work to save money. We were only at the condo to sleep and eat breakfast so we didn't feel too crowded, but some people might feel that way if they prefer to unpack or are larger in size. The bathroom is compact, too, which was fine for us. I just want to make sure I set the right expectations. Definitely no complaints here! :)

Super cute, clean, and convenient location

This small apartment was just what my husband, 2 year old, and I needed. You literally only have to cross the road and you're at the beach, but the location just off the beach meant we weren't breathing the direct red tide breeze everytime we walked outside like we would have with a place right on the ocean. Totally worth the 2 minute walk across the street. We were in unit 11, which is on the second level (of 2) and is a corner unit. I highly recommend this apartment, as we were happily surprised that we had ocean views from both the livingroom and bedroom windows :) The pool was very clean and the landscaping around the pool is so charming! We're not usually pool people, but with the red tide at the sea, I think we spent more time at this lovely pool that's just steps from the room. We also appreciated all the beach/pool amenities that were provided: beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc. Communication from host was good and we knew what we had to do to get into the apartment the first time, where to park, etc. The check-in and check-out list was clear and easy to follow. We feel we definitely got our money's worth from this place and would book here again next time.

Couples getaway

This was a great location for a quick couples getaway. Small and cozy, full kitchen well stocked, and walking distance to so many local fun spots and a quick beach tram ride if you want to go a bit further. Two thumbs up!

Maderia Beach August 2022

I highly recommend this place. It has everything you need. It’s exactly as described. The owner responded very fast to my questions and the people there made you feel very comfortable. It was very clean, quite and the beach is right across the street. Restaurants an nightlife is very close as well. Just pack your clothes because that’s all you will need. The cleaning lady is very polite as well. I had a chair, umbrella and cooler that I couldn’t bring back home with me an I asked if it was ok to leave for any upcoming guest and she said yes. I also told her she was welcome to keep it herself. I would definitely stay there again.
