Beautiful location and property

This was our family's second time staying here. The house is lovely, and the location is beautiful. We love playing in the pool and seeing the view from the back porch.

Fantastic property and stay!

We had an awesome stay here with family hoping to see the April 2024 total solar eclipse! The house, the amenities, the location, the views, the communication with the hosts - all fantastic! The listing and pictures don't do it justice - don't hesitate to book. We hope to stay again soon, this time in summer to enjoy the pool and water activities in the lake.

Perfect Getaway!

My family was in town to celebrate my son’s graduation and Jeremy’s house was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful grounds, the amazing pool or the wonderful house that had every little detail thought of. The pictures do not do the house justice!I would definitely recommend this house for any of your family get always!

Great Home for Family Vacation

The home was spotless and very well equipped with linens and kitchen utensils. The pool was used by all every day along with the boat house and kayaks. Beautiful Sun Sets and a location that allow us to enjoy: local restaurants, farm stands, wineries, golf and just a week of relaxation with FAMILY.

Best place I have EVER stayed!

Pictures do not do this beauty justice. Amazing place, meticulous details the interior of the home as well as the landscaping. Pool is amazing, nice and warm. A party of 10 is not on top of one another, the house is huge and well set up for a large group. I hope to go again next year!!!!

Quiet, Spacious and Relaxing

Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The large driveway provided an area for kids to ride bikes and use their sidewalk chalk. Given the spacious yard, we were able to get in a few family games of wiffle ball and kickball. The pool was a little cloudy but that did not deter anyone from utilizing it every day. I would recommend this house to those looking to visit the area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Father's Day extended weekend at the house. The estate is exactly as described and pictured. Every room is clean, fresh and welcoming. The details in the woodwork, ceiling and floors were a constant conversation among the family. We especially enjoyed learning the unique light switches. The kitchen is efficient, functional and well stocked for a family's cooking and serving needs. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of closet space. The only comment would be that the upstairs bedrooms could have benefited from having fans. The bathrooms were clean and we especially appreciated the ceiling heaters. The exterior property is well kept. There are many comfortable chairs and a variety of places to sit outside. The pool furniture is new and the heated pool very clean. We enjoyed the firepit at night and walking down to the lake to see the sunsets. The location is quiet and feels set apart even though it is off a main road. We enjoyed several pints of fresh strawberries from the local fruit stands. The host was responsive to our questions. A definite recommend for a family getaway.

Amazing house, and views!

The house is absolutely amazing! The details were kept with the updates, and it’s fun history and charm. The local property manager MaryLynn met us at check in and reviewed all the stuff about the house, the property and the local area. She was amazing during our entire stay and I’ve never had such a great contact at a rental before! There was a welcome basket with some local items (which were all very good). The pool was heated and great even with the breeze off the water. The fire pit was great for evenings and roasting marshmallows! My family had an amazing time, and we all agreed it is a location we would definitely return to again.

Family Reunion Extravaganza!

This place is magical and truly pictures can’t capture how majestic it is. The best part of it is how perfectly modernized a historic home has been created into. The kitchen is amazing, huge, well equipped w plenty of dishes, plastic champagne flutes for by the pool etc for our group of 10! House inside is beautiful but also comfortable with touches that draw you into never wanting to leave. Cozy front porch to read on, big dining room,breakfast nook large enough for all 10 of us to play cards,2nd refrigerator great for extra storage,super comfy sleep number bed in main suite,soft sheets,big pillows,super thoughtful welcome gift basket left by the host,who was very communicative & accommodating. Check in super simple once I verified the process thru email with the owner. Kids loved the kayaks, pool, cornhole game, giant Jenga, huge orchard and lake shore to explore. Also so great were the reading nooks, the landscaping, in home laundry,how the house feels very private- just an amazing experience- one our family hopes to do again in our future!

Great place, not so great cleaning fees

enjoyed our stay very much, would be happy to stay again. The property is very nice, the pool was beautiful (but not heated), Great space to catch up with family and friends. My only complaint was some of the cleanliness of the property. The beds all had fresh sheets and there were plenty of clean towels on hand. However there were hairs in the master shower when we arrived. Some pots/pans/bowls in the cupboards were dirty with dried food stuck to them. The oven badly needs a cleaning. Both the back porch and balcony were covered with dust, dirt or pollen I'm not really sure what it was but I had to sweep them off myself. It was not that big of a deal but if I am being charged hundreds of dollars in cleaning and service fees I do expect not to encounter issues like these.

This property is one of the best VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. Beautiful mansion, great furnishings, pool was 84 degrees. Everything was perfect. The grandkids liked the “fancy” house! Thank you Carleen for getting us the extra propane and the wonderful attention to detail!

Peaceful retreat

Gorgeous, well- decorated home that manages to be homey and comfortable at the same time. Spectacular view of lake and property from multiple porches surrounded by lush landscaping. The pool tops it all with volleyball net available for the athletic and multiple lounge chairs for the observers. The entire package provides an elegant and enjoyable experience for all!
