5 Cape Henlopen Dr - Close to the beach with a PRIVATE POOL!

This beautiful home with a Private Pool and an Elevator is ready for your vacation rental stay! Built just a few years ago, this home has all of the features one could hope for. A ground level game room with pool table, TV area and wet bar will be the favorite spot for the kids, teens or kids at heart. This floor also has two double cots for extra sleeping as well as a half bathroom.

The main level has a grand open living space with dining and a gourmet kitchen. The living room opens onto a large screened porch overlooking the private pool. Some bay views from this porch as well! There is also a Master Bedroom with private bathroom on this level.

The top floor features another three bedrooms (one with a private bathroom).

There are just so many areas in this home to spread out and relax or gather for a game night or wonderful meal. After a day on the beach (just behind the house and across the street) or a day lounging in your own pool, relax in the yard with a seat at the firepit.

This home is NOT pet friendly.

Property available for 2 night stays in the off season

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement, and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Guest for the entire rental period. The Guest signing the Lodging Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the Property for the entire rental period. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee). We also accept E-Checks with no fees, as well as personal checks. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30-days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee).

Epic stay in Lewes

The home was lovely, spacious yet cozy. Everyone had their own space and the kitchen had everything we needed. The game room was a terrific bonus and we played tons of pool. Alexa in every room was wonderful and allowed us to keep the vacation soundtrack going all weekend.

Amazing Home - Very Spacious

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious living room, dining room and kitchen with an open floor plan. Both bedroom suites were humongous. Crazy amount of closet space, king size bed, double sinks in bathroom, shower and private balcony. There is a bathtub in one of the suite which is great for bathing young ones. Third bedroom with king size bed with double sink bathroom and shower just steps across the hall. Fourth bedroom with 2 beds. Basement was huge with workout equipment, pool table, full fridge, ice maker, couches, table, and more. The back side of the home facing the ocean has a screened in porch the width of the house. Sun deck and pool at ground level and a fire pit at the back. All this just steps away from the beach. We were all very pleased with the home and location. The beach is great for young children as the cape is shallow. Our 3 and 5 year olds loved playing in the water. We also enjoyed the local restaurants especially Touch of Italy. Get the cheesey bread.Property, inside and out, was immaculate. I highly recommend this home for your next beach vacation.

Great home...beautiful landscaping, pool.

Lovely vacation home. The location near the public beach was a negative, but we knew this when we booked. All in all, this home had everything a family needs for a beach vacay. The pool put it over the top.

Jaded forever

Once you rent a house by the beach that has a pool and an elevator you can’t go back to a normal rental. Moving in and out took hardly any time with the elevator next to the interior garage door. Having a pool for the whole family to hang out at all when it was too hot for the little ones at the beach, made the trip. Great memories were made. Worth every penny.

Lewes beach

Beautiful home. Comfortable. For The money I think there could have been a few more extras……hangers in closets, no linens fee, clean grill without a threat of charge if I didn’t clean grill. If you aren’t a tech person you will get very frustrated trying to figure out how to turn on lights, fireplace etc. there is a book to explain and we forgives out half of it. I would stay again, but t have to be better prepared for items I know are not included.

Amazing Lewes Beach house right off the beach

It is top of the line -- beautifully decorated, amazing spaces for a family to spend time together and spread out, very comfortable sleeping arrangements, and awesome appointments & amenities. It's a "smart" house, and has huge TV in main living room and music too. My extended family gathered for Thanksgiving at this house. We hung out, took walks on the beach, watched football on the big screen and cooked together in the beautiful kitchen. Convection oven in the microwave cooked our turkey, leaving the oven for sides! We loved the fireplace! I can only imagine how awesome this house would be in the summer. Highly recommend!We had just one issue -- our sheets & towels weren't delivered so had to call. That said, the rental company came right out within an hour and delivered them.

Only downside was the gate in the backyard did not provide actual beach access; you have to walk around from the front of the house and down the side street to get to the beach, but it is still close. There were a few areas that were missed by the cleaning crew, and a broken faucet handle, otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board.

The management company’s linen policy is very frustrating, though. I would rather have just paid more overall for the house and had sheets and towels available when we arrived, like every other rental property we’ve stayed in before, rather than having to pay extra for them to eventually be delivered, and then have to put them on the beds ourselves (and remove them to place outside before leaving, but the rules insist that you still have to then also make the beds), and on top of that the towels themselves are thin and not even nice quality. The whole policy is cheap and offputting.

The water shut off on Christmas morning

We woke up on Christmas Morning to find that the water had been shut off. It took two hours to get it turned back on. We were travelling with our baby. Two weeks later, we learned that it took so long for the water to be turned back on because the owner's phone was off (the owner's app automatically shut off the water). We requested a partial refund and received $100. The house and location are nice enough, but we'd recommend against staying at this property.

Paradise!!

This is the type of place you stay and never want to leave!! Beautiful view of the water! We were there over the Fourth of July and had a great view of the fireworks from the screened in porch! The mattresses were very comfortable it felt like home did not want to leave :)
