Great host and house

The house was the perfect size for a large family gathering and well appointed to pull together a big meal. The location was nice close to the beach and on a mostly quiet street in November. The host was super communicative and helpful. Great stay.

Beautiful place, Close to everything!

Beautiful house in Lewes, close to everything! Walk to beach, short drive to Cape Henlopen State Park, 15 minutes to Rehobeth and the Cape May Lewes Ferry to NJ. The house was huge, clean and well maintained! We had plenty of room, if not more, for our group of 8 adults! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. There were a few bikes to ride on the garage. We came to Delaware for a family vacation, and the house made it like home!

Girls wanna have fun

Celebrating a friends 60th bday, girls golf weekend! This house is beautifully kept and was everything we thought it would be plus some. Clean, comfy, spacious, close to beach, relaxing deck and just overall enjoyable. Would highly recommend this house.

Great Family Vacation!

Our family consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. The house is beautiful and spacious enough that everyone had their own space. Loved the kitchen and the outside screened in porch protected from the sun and insects. A short walk to the to too crowded beach which was especially nice for our younger children. Overall a wonderful stay and communication with Megan was outstanding. I give it 5 stars!!!

Fantastic Family Vacation House

This house was perfect for our family of 8 ( 3 couples and 2 children). The house is jam packed with amenities and was comfortable for all. It’s located down the street from a beautiful quiet beach. It was perfect for my granddaughters. It’s close to the ferry and a variety of restaurants in the charming town of Lewes. We would gladly rebook this house for another vacation!

The other side of the bay!

As a family we have rented in Cape May Point for a number of years. This last season we opted to test the waters on the Delaware side. Lewis is every bit as charming as Cape May NJ. Our host's home was beautiful in every way. Since it is an almost new property there were some "missing" basics such as clothes hangers. Next year I'll stop off at Dollar General and pick up a couple dozen for the home. All in all a beautiful home. We all are looking forward to visiting again next year.

A Great Stay

A/C so good people had to wear extra layers till we changed the thermostats. Grand staircase the kids would run up and down to play in. Full bunk beds slept 4 kids. Spacious kitchen let us cook for everybody. Downstairs has a second living room that let some get away when needed.

2022 Thanksgiving

We had an amazing three days of celebrations. Everything was wonderful. The house is amazing as is the location. One block to Delaware Bay and a mile walk to downtown. The living area is super roomy for all of us doing different things. The kitchen was great for preparing our Thanksgiving feast. The property owners were more than gracious….quick responses. Thanks Megan for sharing your home with us. We had an amazing family celebration for our 50th and Thanksgiving. Totally recommend your property. A very happy customer.

This was our third time in Lewes and first time in this house and we absolutely loved it. Spacious and also cozy, light filled and in a great location. We will be back!

Another great stay!

This was our second summer staying here, and we continue to love it! The house is very kid friendly, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent - very short walk across the street to the beach and short drive or walk into downtown Lewes. We hope to be back next year!

Great Large Family House in Lewes

While I love all of the cottages that are in Lewes, they don't always fit the needs of a large family or family get together. This house was beautiful and easily fit my family along with my three siblings and their kiddo's. Check-In and Check-Out were super easy. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Family vacation in Lewes

The property and location are wonderful. The house was clean and well maintained. The beach in the area is close and very nice for young children. The one complaint for a higher end property like this was the gas grill. It was old, rusted and basically unusable.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und ein perfekter Ort für 3 Generationen unter einem Dach!

Das Haus war einfach perfekt für uns (drei Generationen). Jede*r hatte Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, aber am großen Esstisch oder auf der gemütlichen Couch war immer Platz für alle. Die Küche ist ein Traum für gemeinsames Kochen. Es ist wunderbar nah zum Strand und mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir Lewes und Umgebung erkunden. Megan ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet und wir haben den besonderen Fair sehr genossen. Wir hoffen wiederkommen zu können!

Stunning home, beautiful location

We rented this home with another family over President’s Day weekend for a change of scenery and the chance to hang out together. It was a COLD weekend so we only went out to the beach once, but we had a lovely time gathered around the dining room table playing games and assembling jigsaw puzzles. The house is absolutely gorgeous. We adults used the basement bar a few times, we watched football (soccer) on the TV, and we had plenty of space to relax. The kitchen came fully stocked including lots of cool glassware. We had a lovely time and would totally rent here again.

A very short walk to beach, this beautiful home is in a great location….short drive to shops & restaurants downtown. Property owner very responsive for any questions we had. Lots of room to spread out. A very comfortable home.

Birthday at the beach

This house was perfect for us. It accommodated 9 of us comfortably. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was amazing! The only time I needed to contact the owner was when we arrived and my code didn’t unlock the door. Megan replied immediately and reset the code. The listing needs to be corrected to reflect a soaking tub in the 3rd floor master not a jetted tub. Still, best birthday ever…I cried as we pulled out of the driveway to head home.

Excellent Beach Week for my large family

Every year, I spend a week at the Delaware beaches with my mom, my brothers and sister, and our spouses and young kids. We have stayed in Bethany, Rehoboth, and Broadkill before. This was our first year in Lewes, and we all loved it! Plenty of room for all of us, The house was emasculate. The owner was prompt, and courteous. Close to the beach. It’s not beach front, but only a short 2-3 minute walk to the ocean. I personally love to stay on the oceanfront, but the rest of my family said they didn’t care that it wasn’t ocean front since it was still so close to the beach. Close to downtown Lewes. Less than a mile to two ice cream shops! 2 Dip was awesome! We would love to come back and stay again!

Our family of five lives in Maryland and we have been spending parts of our summer in Lewes for over 12 years. Our children grew up wading in the bay, fishing off the pier and exploring downtown Lewes. In 2017 we purchased a small beach cottage on Cedar Street in Lewes Beach and fell even more in love with this neighborhood. We purchased this larger beach property in 2019 to serve as a rental property. We hope multi-generational families and groups of friends will enjoy this magical place.
