This was our first time staying anywhere other than a hotel and it was amazing how quiet it was, the privacy, the home feel, a deck with a beautiful view, super close to Storyland and little less than an hr from Santas Village. I try to only write good reviews unless I'm really mad about something but I'm not entirely sure my concerns were taken seriously. I found it bizarre that in each email and in a couple places in the house it was posted not to feed the bears and take care of trash properly. Makes sense, right. When we arrived there was three bags of trash on the porch, one trash can full to the top and the other trash can was overflowing. I contacted vacasa immediately.They asked for pictures and said they would inform local team. I told them the next morning it was still there and then again our last day there. We asked if they wanted us to put our trash outside or leave it inside at check out and they asked us to leave it inside. We started a load of laundry the night before leaving and attempted to dry it for five hours, not kidding. I did communicate it had no heat. I was excited to use the sauna but not totally familiar with this one. I'm used to infrared but I was going to give it a try. There was a kettle of water inside with a wooden spoon and when I moved it the water was all brown. We did have a great stay but a few things could be better. I have photos if they are wanted but I'm not going to post.
