Disappointed

This condo had beautiful views and adequate space. However, the rental company, mock Amelia, was totally inaccessible. We were not given the key code to our room until approximately 20 minutes prior to our arrival. Both emails and phone calls to mock Amelia were ignored. Secondly, upon entering the condo, there was a strong smell of sulfur which was very unpleasant. The sheets in the master bedroom did not fit the mattress and came off every single night. Furthermore, they were clearly very old and had pills all over them so they were very rough to sleep on. Lastly, in the second bedroom, there was an extra blanket in the closet. When our daughter-in-law got it out to use, it was filled with what appeared to be dog hair. Between the sulfur smell, and the hair on the blanket, we did not feel we were in a clean unit. And, we certainly did not feel it was worth the price that we paid for it

Needs a love

Great top floor corner unit with awesome view, but in need of a thorough cleaning & repair of damaged walls & window treatments, as well as burnt out light bulbs throughout unit

Absolutely delightful stay!

Such a lovely view of the ocean, big bedrooms, nice closet space, perfect game table for puzzling, safe parking, easy walkways to the beach. We loved our stay here and will come back.

Great stay!

Excellent location. Comfortable set up, clean, well appointed home that is dog friendly! Parking spot is conveniently located next to the elevator but the unit is on the end of the building allowing for more privacy and additional natural light. Looking forward to staying here again!

Clean, well appointed, great location. Only concern was an odor that we couldn’t determine the origin of…we stayed here in 2023 and I don’t recall the same odor then.

Beautiful views

1120 Beach Walker has beautiful views of the ocean! Condo seems to be in multiple states of update. A/c took a long time to cool. Hard for back door to close. Otherwise, stay was comfortable and clean. Teens loved the loft area (but was very warm throughout stay).

Amelia Island Wedding Visit

We traveled to Amelia Island for a family wedding. The unit at Beachwalker suited our needs very adequately. The split-level layout was a little clunky for moving in and out given our heavy luggage, and the bathrooms were a little small for our taste, but the unit was comfortable, very well equipped, and we really liked the location.

Accommodation exactly as advertised. Very comfortable for 3 adults and a large dog. Well stocked kitchen. Easy parking and short walk to the beach and pool.

Four Star

The condo is as described. Wonderful furnishings and everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds and sofas were very comfortable. Linen supply was good also. The location in the building was perfect for us - top floor/end unit. No foot traffic going by. The building itself seems to need a little work - elevator had a floor panel missing and there were some cement pieces missing on the stairs - both trip hazards. Grounds around the building were well maintained and the condo is right on the beach and adjacent to walking paths. We were near enough to the Shops that we could walk. We had a small issue with xfinity and some noisy construction in the garage - the owner and realtor were very helpful on these issues. Thanks for a great vacation. We hope to be back next year.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second time staying in this beautiful unit. It is very well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The views are amazing from all windows; bedrooms have a marsh views and living area and balcony have gorgeous ocean views. The unit is very well appointed and we would love to visit again! Fabulous Condo and Easiest Check in Ever

This was a fabulous property exactly as pictured ! The check in process was the easiest and smoothest experience I've ever had. We were even able to get in an hour early. They texted me and I was happily surprised that our room was ready an hour prior to check in !! Great communication with the property management company.

Could not have been happier

We could not have been happier with our stay at 1120 Beach Walker. The view was picture perfect and the property was very well maintained. The unit itself was well appointed with an updated beach vibe decor. The only reason for the 4 star is that I rarely ever give anything a 5 star since short of perfection there can always be room for improvement. If you look closely you will notice a few places where the paint is chipping or minor water damage, but that is being very nitpicky. I am sure anyone would enjoy their stay. Selfishly, part of me wanted to ding the review so not so many people would book it, only making it harder for me to get it again next year :-)

Beautiful place!

This unit was beautifully decorated and well laid out. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. The view of the ocean was spectacular. Everything was very clean with the exception of some of the kitchen cooking supplies. We did have a problem with the AC on our second day and someone came by and fixed it that day. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again.

Perfection!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachwalker and on The Plantation. It was our first stay on this property and we had the best time riding our bikes on the beach and the plethora of bike trails on property. The condo was beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. We already look forward to our return next summer!

Great Stay

This year we stayed at the Beach Walker Villas that are located within the Omni Resort/Amelia Island Plantation property. This is an end unit on the north side of the 3rd floor of the building. These villas have covered parking and this unit has a dedicated spot that is adjacent to the elevator (very convenient for loading and unloading). With one of the available luggage carts, we made short work of getting our bags and coolers up to the room. As mentioned, the unit is the last one on the end, which means it is next to the stairs. This is nice if you have a dog (like we do) and don't mind getting a little exercise when it comes time to take them for a walk. There is a grassy area directly behind the building and they supply doggy bags if you need them. While I'm thinking of it, there are some recycling bins that are pushed against the wall on the south side of the building. Just around the corner from the villas are some shops and restaurants. Harris Teeter (a nice sized grocery store) is about 3 miles away and there's a Walmart and a Publix about 8 miles away. The unit was very clean and had a nice layout. When you walk in the door, there is a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer to your left. When you walk up the first flight, you are on the main level with the kitchen and dining room on your left and the living area on the right. The deck is just outside the sliding glass doors from the dining room. The kitchen is well equipped and has a nice counter that faces the dining room. The living room area has nice couch and some chairs, as well as a small round table. There is a huge TV set that we didn't use, but it looks brand new. The third level features a bathroom with a full-size tub on the left and two bedrooms. The left side bedroom has a queen bed. The master bedroom has a king and is on the right. It has its' own bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fourth level is a living space that extends the width of the unit. They have placed a twin bed on each side of the room. This room has a balcony that overlooks the main level and you also have a view of the ocean from this room. It did tend to get a little warmer than the rest of the unit. If you walk down the stairs on the north side, the beach is approximately 600 feet from the corner of the building and the pool is less than that. We enjoyed our time at this villa and would stay here again.
