Important Beach Update

The county is currently conducting a beach renourishment project along portions of the shoreline that is expected to affect stays up until May, with possible minor extension into May due to weather delays. As crews move section by section, temporary equipment and sand pumping operations may be visible near this property. The work is temporary and helps strengthen and protect the beach and dunes, and nearby beach access is generally available around active work zones.

The Mariner's Cove complex features a private pool, shuffleboard courts, bar-b-que area with gas grill and is in a centralized location allowing guests to walk to several area restaurants including Izzy's Tacos and Ice Cream, Manny's pizza, SoNapa, and Chase's on the Beach. A 7-11 is located right next to Mariner's Cove and offers a Redbox for those looking to rent movies while on vacation. Only .6 miles away is the Dollar General Market for groceries along with a nail salon, homemade ice cream store, C's Waffles and several other restaurants.

The Canaveral National Seashore, one of the finest national seashore parks in the country, is only minutes away and offers a 57,000 acres national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River. It also features one of the longest stretches of pristine beaches in the United States. It's a must see!

Also within a short drive south is the Bethune parking featuring a fishing pier, tennis and basketball courts, beach volleyball court and playground. JB's fish camp is nearby offering some of the best fresh seafood in town. Kayak rentals and paddleboard tours are also available at JB's.

Shopping and dining are a must while in New Smyrna Beach. One-of-a-kind restaurants and boutiques can be found within a short drive or bike ride on 3rd Avenue, Flagler Avenue and Historic Canal Street.

Art galleries can be found throughout town making New Smyrna one of the best small art towns in the country.

The Marine Discover Center can be found nearby and has spent over 20 years informing guests about the amazing biodiversity of the Indian River Lagoon. They offer amazing boat and kayak tours as well as some great educational summer camps for kids.
