This was the third year we stayed in this unit. It never disappoints and the gorgeous view never gets tiring. The kitchen is so well appointed that making meals in, is a breeze. The Eckerts are the best and most responsive hosts of all the many VRBO homes we’ve stayed in. We’ve already signed up for next year.

Terrific View!

All aspects of the VRBO description were accurate. This is wonderful 5th floor condo that is situated 40-50 yards from the gulf. From our awesome vantage point, we saw dolphins galore, a couple of rays, some kind of leaping fish that was pretty big, pelicans, eagles, ospreys and other assorted birds. We had a great time.

Gorgeous spot

Great condo with lovely views of sunrise and sunset. Well equipped kitchen, board games, bocce and pickle ball. We paddled out to a few small islands just offshore for shelling. Great time.

Wonderful stay on Marco

Team Eckert were wonderful hosts and the property was just as described. The kitchen had everything you would need and they had all the necessities to get you started. There were plenty of beach towels, bikes, fishing poles and items for the pool. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!

We had an amazing trip to Marco Island and staying at this property was truly special. Everything you could want or need was provided! From the amazing view to the gorgeous home it was perfect! Absolutely Amazing Vacation

We have been renting on Marco the past few years and finally we found a condo that is so welcoming it felt like home! The hosts were attentive and checked in on us when we had some bad weather. The condo was clean and stocked with everything you need! Lastly, the views were amazing! Dolphin, manatee and an occassional stingray you would see from your balcony. Thank you for the best memories! Can't wait to book next year!

Awesome views from a great condo directly on the water. We experienced many days where the dolphin played in front of our unit. The condo is very clean and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Shipps Landing is located at the south end of Marco. The Eckert team is always available to make sure your trip is an enjoyable one.

This is a special place with a view like no other. Open space to fit everyone with comfortable furniture and beds. So convenient, plus great kayaking in canals, riding bikes in addition to the multiple amenities. A month just isn’t enough time. Marco Island Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view from the balcony is amazing!!! We so enjoyed watching the dolphins, the stingrays jumping out of the water and the boat traffic. The residents of the condo were very nice and accepting of us as renters. We used the bikes quite often and appreciated the fact that they were provided! We also took advantage of the pool floats (when our grandchildren visited us) and the umbrella and beach chairs. It was also very handy having a washer and dryer in the unit. We would definitely rent again!!

This is the second year we have stayed in this unit, and we have re-upped for next year. The unit is even better than the photos show. The relaxation we feel from the heavenly views to the decor and the condo complex upkeep and amenities is the best we have experienced. The kitchen is so well appointed that we most often cook at home. We don’t have to leave to see beautiful sunrises or sunsets. Finally, the communication with the owners is excellent. What a view!

From the moment you walk into this unit you are on vacation! The modern interior is such a perfect foreground for the spectacular view of the ocean and islands. We sat outside on the huge lanai whenever we weren't at one of the pools or fishing. The pool we went to was virtually our own private pool as there were very few people there. You could spend a week at this complex and never leave with everything there is to do there. We watched a boat catch a goliath grouper right near the docks. It was crazy! Everything in the unit is new and lovely! The owners were very good with communication. Thank you for letting us enjoy your unit!

A little piece of heaven!

We stayed for the month of January 2024. As beautiful as they are, the pictures don’t do this condo justice. The decor is light, bright, and modern but also very comfortable. The view is absolutely gorgeous - both sunrises and sunsets, the Gulf of Mexico and the 10,000 Islands with Caxambas Pass, dolphins, all species of birds and types of boats to watch. It didn’t matter that it was the rainiest, coolest January we have ever spent in Florida. The surroundings are to beautiful and relaxing to mind the weather. The kitchen is fully appointed and every other detail has been thought of to make your stay fun and relaxing - from a wide variety of indoor and outdoor seating, 2 bicycles to ride around the island, beach and fishing gear, plenty of good quality towels and access to lovely pools, gym, tennis courts, grills and more. Finally, the owners were easily accessible and great to deal with. We enjoyed our time so much that it is the first time we have already scheduled for the next year. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.

Nothing short of Paradise!

We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this property at Shipps Landing. The minute we walked in and saw the view we knew it was going to be a very special month. The corner unit is so bright and cheery with its 6 sliders opening up to a wrap around balcony that has many seating options for lounging and a table for eating. We so enjoyed all the boat traffic passing by and dolphin regularly putting on a show right in front of us! The unit itself is well stocked with everything you might need either for cooking in or even baking with a Kitchen Aide mixer! The decor is very modern and beautifully appointed. The fellow renters and owners we met could not have been more friendly and our hosts, Team Ekhert were most attentive before and after our stay. We have been spoiled and this property will be very hard to match.

Amazingly Wonderful!

An incredibly beautiful setting that is fit for comfort and the ultimate relaxation vacation. The apartment is as advertised and really has everything that you need. High end decor and the views are panoramic 360 degrees of water front beauty. Instructions for check in where right on spot and easy. Security in the building is excellent all of the time and plenty to do like kayaking, biking, and jet skiing as well as fishing and dolphin watching. The pools are great. Beach side is o.k. Parking is outdoor but covered. Location is ideal. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Away from the crowds, but easy to access if need be. I highly recommend this incredible little piece of heaven. Thank you for the great memories. My daughter caught her first fish here at the beach.

We have been traveling to Marco for over 30 years with family. After the family passed away we took a break from the island but found that our hearts are happy when we are at Marco Island. So we took the plunge and bought a condo that made our hearts sing looking at unobstructed views of the glorious sustainable beauty of the Gulf and 10,000 islands. The dolphins play outside our balcony all day long. We want to share this special place with people that need a break from the rat race and would like to take time for themselves and their families. We believe there is nothing better than to inhale the salt air and let the sun give us a bronze glow.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We choose this particular condo because of the 14 acres of groomed landscape and the abundance of facilities that they offer. Where else can you go on Marco Island and have on hand, tennis courts, pickleball, basketball courts, 2 community rooms, 1 state of the art fitness centers, 3 different pool areas, ping pong table, pool table, private beach, fishing pier, boat docks, and many other amenities.
We also picked this special part of the island because the condo has a million-dollar view. The minute you walk in the front door you are automatically drawn into the living space and out on the balcony to watch the dolphins, boats, and kayakers. When you actually breathe in the view and walk back into the condo you will find a contemporary comfortable living, dining, and kitchen area that has the same views as the wrap-around balcony. The kitchen has so many amenities that we really tried to think about what our clients would need to make wonderful memories while cooking for family and friends. Entering the bedrooms you will notice you will be able to lay in bed and also see the water views. Bathrooms are remodeled and have clean European cabinets. There is plenty of storage and room to get ready for the day. Laundry located in the condo will make staying for a month easy to keep up on the chores that we all hate to do.
So overall this condo captured everything we needed for ourselves and for those that would like to spend their time on Marco Island in our home away from home.
