Serenity Cove 3 Bedroom Home on Secluded Cove

3-bedroom 2-bath lake front home built in 2018 with all new furnishings installed Fall of 2020. Enjoy your private 2.4 acres on a secluded cove (seasonal water*) with a 10 ft by 20 ft dock/swim platform. With the cove being so quiet it is great for swimming, using the peddle boat or the two kayaks provided with the home. The yard includes a fire pit and a picnic table located in a small grove to keep cool in the summer heat.
Located in Sharps Chapel near Lakeview Marina and across the lake from Boathouse @33 (formerly Bubba Brews) we are on the less congested yet convenient to most everything side of the lake. The home has a 10 ft by 20 ft dock/swim platform with a swim ladder and cleats for tying up your boat. We provide adult size life vests small through XXL for use in the cove with our floating water mat, kayaks and peddle boat. If you need life preservers for children, you will need to bring the proper one(s) with you.
The yard has a very gentle slope from the house to the water. The yard includes a fire pit area and a picnic table located in a small grove to keep cool in the summer heat. The covered deck has a gas grill, TV, party lights, fans, and a wraparound cedar bar with stools to sit and enjoy the lake. We provide cornhole boards for fun in the yard.
Inside the house you will find a sunroom where you can enjoy your morning coffee or just beat the heat while enjoying your little part of the lake. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, 55 LED TV, and various boardgames when it is time to unwind. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a Casper mattress. The master bath has a soaking tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin XL beds making them long enough for adult sleeping. The couch converts to a queen size bed.
All of the bedrooms and living room have TV’s with Sling Blue and Orange streaming package of 50+ channels and over the air channels to all TVs. The kitchen has service for eight for two meals so you can run the dishwasher at the end of your day. Pots and pans and the small appliances you want are available. We provide ground coffee and k-cups. The kitchen has a 50-pound commercial ice maker. Most kitchen consumables are provided so you don’t need to pack up your house to take with you on vacation. It has a wine cooler, so the adults don’t have to share space with the juice boxes.
There is a washer and a dryer available with single use soap and fabric softener sheets provided. The two-car carport and two car wide driveway provides plenty of space for vehicle and boat trailer parking.
*Seasonal Water – Norris lake level varies approximately 20 feet from summer to winter pool. Our cove is bowl shaped with about 15 feet of water depth in the main body of water at the end of our dock to approximately 7 feet through a channel at the mouth of the cove. The lake is usually up to summer pool in May. I bring a 24ft inboard-outboard boat in and out of the cove during the summer. For the boaters, entering the cove can become a challenge as early as August depending on when TVA decides to lower the lake level. We reduce our rates in May and August to allow for the daily use fee of the boat ramp at our community marina, Lakeview Marina, if needed. The cove fills through underground aquifers and will maintain good water levels for other water activities until late summer/Fall when the lake is lowered for flood control purposes.
