Northstar Gold Bend Modern Cabin

Our goal is to make your stay special and memorable. Your first impression of our “Hunker Hut” in the mountains will be a lasting one as you look out at the view of the Northstar Mountain. This is where you’ll take a deep breath and start to relax.

The Gold Bend Townhomes are very close (less than a 1/2 mile) to the Northstar Village, ski slopes, restaurants, recreation center, and shopping. There is a free shuttle service (use the app) near our property to the rec center, the village, and the golf course. Our guests have access to the Northstar Recreation Center (ping me for work arounds on guest fee) which has beautiful pools (family & adult), tennis courts, a fitness center, hot tubs (family & adult), bocce courts, and a game room. The Northstar Village has excellent restaurants, shopping, ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer, a two theater cinema showing newly released films and live music.

Our remodeled (bathrooms, kitchen, fireplace) 2 bedroom, 1.5 BA is the perfect spot for you and your family and friends to enjoy a wonderful stay in Tahoe. It's a cozy property that is upgraded, clean, and a perfect spot to plant roots and enjoy what Tahoe has to offer. It has a fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, gas fireplace, large 70" SMART TV in the living room as well as SMART TVs w/Amazon firesticks in each bedroom and Spectrum Wi-Fi throughout. There is a washer and dryer and a sleeper sofa in living room.

We have a very family friendly location with puzzles, board games, children's books, a pack n play. For those of you that like to cook the kitchen is stocked with organic spices, condiments, and an extensive amount of cookware (including a crockpot and pancake griddle) and most anything else you'll need. You will have access to an outdoor storage locker that is located right by the front door to store your winter and summer items. For your use you will also find in the closet sleds for the winter and inflatable rings/rafts for the summer that we're happy to share with you during your stay. The back of the unit faces open space trails and forest. This open space has an extensive trail system for hiking and mountain biking during the summer. In the winter it's great for playing in the snow or doing a bit of hiking with snow shoes.

Northstar is a short drive to historical Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and Tahoe City.
