We also offer a studio side of the unit, searchable as the "Lunar Module Studio", and also a complete 2-bedroom master suite, known and searchable as the âCommand Module Suiteâ. Beautiful artwork throughout depicts the American space race to reach the Moon through the Apollo space program. Very modern and retro at the same time!

This space (Lunar Outpost) is the larger side of our duplex townhome and will be completely locked off from the other side (which is also available as a studio rental - search for "Martian Outpost"). If you're interested in renting the entire home (both sides), search "Mission Control".

Whether youâre visiting for the Gem Show, Rodeo, Golf Tournament, Street Fair, conference at the JW Marriott or just for a vacation or staycation, this is the perfect place to retreat to each night. It is conveniently located for all of the best events Tucson has to offer.
Recently renovated (July 2021 & Oct. 2022), this home features granite counters throughout, all new furniture throughout the home, a gas cooktop, a great view of the fairway of the 7th hole of the Arnold Palmer designed premier Roadrunner course with the beautiful JW & Sonoran foothills in the distance (many of the other rentals stare at other homes or parking lots).
On a beautiful afternoon, open the double glass sliding doors to the largest patio available of any of the homes in the area and enjoy the crisp air and sounds of the desert. This unit also features a glass sliding door from the master bedroom to the great patio as well; A rare upgrade that allows you to enjoy the outdoors so easily from both the living room and the master bedroom!
We often see a beautiful desert wildlife in the surrounding area. Roadrunners, Deer, Javelina and lizards to name a few. They donât bother anyone; Just be sure to have your camera ready to snap a shot of them when they pass by! The patio is tastefully fenced to ensure that the desert wildlife doesn't interrupt your enjoyment of the space. The patio gate is locked (key is not provided) to prevent children from wandering into the trails access road behind the home.
During your stay, enjoy an invigorating hike on nearby maintained trails by day, then relax while streaming a movie by night.
For guests traveling that need to use hard-wired ethernet for enhanced internet security, our home is ready for you with the workstation in the bedroom being ethernet equipped.
Guests can take advantage of the Clubhouseâs restaurant Catalina Barbeque Co. & Sports Bar which is currently open Wednesday through Sunday weekly. Also, checkout the restaurants at the nearby JW Marriott as well. Weekend live entertainment has resumed.
Stream your favorites on the included MAX (ultimate Ad-Free version) service on both of the Samsung Smart TV's in the unit (living room and bedroom), each equipped with Roku Soundabar Pro's. Our premium MAX subscription includes HBO, CineMax, HGTV, Discovery, Magnolia Network, DC Movies, Food Network, Cartoon Network, TCM, TLC, Travel Channel, Adult Swim and ID. You have access to them all with MAX! Other apps are loaded on the Roku for guests to login to their own accounts if they wish.
This suite is located within the Starr Pass resort community and is situated only 1 mile to the JW Marriott hotel, 4 miles to the I-10, 6.5 miles to UofA, and just 12 miles to Tucson airport. You can find cheaper rentals, however, this unit is unique with it's extra large patio and master-sliding glass patio access, modernized, and offers a beautiful resort feel without all those nasty resort fees and ad-ons. I like all-inclusive and no surprises; I bet you do too!
This unique vacation rental gives you the get-away-from-it-all experience while still having all your conveniences close by. Parking is FREE and close to the unitâjust far enough away that you donât hear people coming and going, yet close enough that carrying in groceries and suitcases is easyâitâs perfect. You also have your own private stacked, large capacity washer/dryer combo located inside the unit. Perhaps best of all, whether you visit in the winter, summer, spring or fall, the full-suite air conditioning and heating with auto thermostats will keep you comfortable throughout the entire home.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
We're not property managers or real estate agents. This is our second home and we allow guests to stay in it while we are away.
There are 3 security cameras located at this home. ALL of them are outdoors and only view outdoor areas. One camera is located in the front front porch and views the entire entry patio and front doors. The other two cameras are located outside on the back of the home and view activity on the back patio and landscaped grounds surrounding the patio. These three cameras are primarily for us to monitor the property exterior when guests or ourselves are not present, and their activity is recorded 24/7. Booking this unit is consent to their presence and operation and is an agreement not to cover, alter, or block their view or disconnect them from power or internet.
The closet in the master bedroom is locked off. We keep our personal clothes in there to allow guests full use of the large dresser. There is plenty of room in the unit to store suit cases.
This home is smoke and pet free. Guests caught attempting to bring a pet in risk forfeiting their stay and agree to be subject to a pet cleaning fee of $350.
While itâs located within our community, the nearby pool and gym facility is privately owned and under new management. They have eliminated a previous decades-long courtesy of allowing guests of private casita owners who are paid members of the club (such as us) to access the facilities.  As such, access to the nearby pool/jacuzzi/gym is no longer included with any of our listings or any other privately owned units.  Be aware that any golf casitas advertising pool access are timeshare units managed by a big timeshare company. Our casita is 100% privately owned and not a part of the timeshare company--there's no awkward sales pitches with our unit, we promise! :)
This rental is fully licensed & insured as a legal vacation rental and is registered with the Arizona Dept. of Revenue. Our Arizona Transaction Privilege and Use Tax License is #21371742.
