Ocean View House Few Steps from Miramar Beach

Beautiful beach house with an ocean view. One block away (2-3 minute walk) from Miramar beach, one of the best beaches in Half Moon Bay. The house is also a walking distance from other popular beaches like Surfer's beach and Poplar beach; as well as the coastal trail, Pillar Point Harbor, the marina, and many of the best ranked restaurants in the area.

Safe and quiet neighbourhood. No activities allowed in the backyard after 10PM.

The house is fully equipped and includes all essentials. It is made up of:
3 bedrooms (queen or king bed in each room), including one master bedroom with a bathroom.
A living room and a dinning area.
A fully equipped kitchen.
A second bathroom.
A sauna room.
A garage where you can park your car.
A big backyard with a jacuzzi and a BBQ.
A deck with a spectacular ocean view.

You can barrow our two bikes, boogie board, beach chairs, and umbrella during your stay.

TV includes an active Netflix account.

Location can't be beat!

Excellent stay at this house in the perfect location for a friends' relaxing get together. Well-stocked kitchen, generous bedrooms and space for 5 adults. The view from the living room and the deck were awesome. The host was very flexible and communicated promptly. Would for sure rent this house again!

Perfect getaway!

Our family took a weekend vacation in Half Moon Bay, and this house was the perfect place to stay! It was cozy, clean, close to the beach, walking distance to Miramar Beach Restaurant, and had a beautiful view from the living room where you could see the ocean. On both sunny and overcast mornings, the ocean view was beautiful! The house was the perfect size and very comfortable. We were sad when the trip ended because our stay was so wonderful. We definitely would stay here again and recommend booking this house for your next stay!

Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our stay in Half Moon Bay. The restaurants in that area always impress us - Jettywave Distillery was fantastic, we also enjoyed Ketch Grill, Fattoria E. Mare & La Costanera. Philip is a good host.

Great Home Base

This was our second stay here and it’s the perfect place to use as a home base to explore the coast. We visited Pacifica to the north all the way south to Davenport. The hosts are super responsive and kind, and the house is very comfortable.

Wonderful Staycation weekend!

Philip's spot is in the absolute perfect location! So lovely to be just a block away from the coastal trail. The house was spacious and very comfortable for 6 of us. Also the beds were so comfy!! Highly recommend this home.

Wonderful Week at the Beach

Perfect location about a block from the beach, with a big, level backyard, hot tub, and lots of room for the family to spread out and relax. Philip was an excellent host, a genuinely good guy who went out of his way to make sure we had a great time.

We had an incredible time here. Spacious and cozy. Honestly, I think it’s better than the pictures even show. There’s even an ocean view. Would definitely be back.

This home was exceptionally clean. Very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. Ocean view from the living room and front deck was enjoyed by all, and we enjoyed being a short walk from Miramar Beach Restaurant, an excellent spot for oceanside fare. My family had a wonderful weekend getaway here and we would love to return on our next visit to Half Moon Bay!

Comfortable place very near the ocean. Loved the little deck out front to sit and view. Phillip is an excellent host. Thanks for the coffee, water, and wine! Really delicious restaurants nearby, plenty of seafood and dining with beautiful views.

Ideal Location

This lovely home is perfectly situated for a visit to the Half Moon Bay coastal area. It’s on a quiet street, only a block from the beach and serves as a great “home base.” Three people or couples are well accommodated in this very comfortable home. It was nice having the option of a jacuzzi or sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property!

Not bad for an older beach house, but not a luxury property

Pros: the location was excellent, and beds were comfy. Loved the little front deck area with ocean view. Cons: Funky plumbing situation - the check in instructions asked guests to dispose of toilet paper in trash can or use very little. Cabinets in kitchen were sticky, most likely from the age of paint as opposed to being dirty. Hot tub on smaller side, only comfortable for 2 - 3 adults.

Picturesque

Weather was constantly changing, the owner worked very well will me and flexing around my schedule. Easily one of the best locations I have ever seen, ever. We stay at high end resorts and hotels, first time on VRBO. Amazing!

Great stay!

This house is perfect! The short walk to the beach makes the location great. It's in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. The house itself it stocked with everything you'd need and is beautifully decorated. All of the rooms and beds were cozy and inviting. The kids loved the hot tub and picking lemons off the lemon tree in the back yard. Communication with the host was fast and easy. If we make it out to the west coast again, I'd definitely stay here!

Family escape

Lovely little escape. Home was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Sauna worked well for senior citizen ache-ing joints. Even though only a few blocks from Rte 1, traffic noise was almost imperceptible. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly, ocean is a short block away and has a lovely view. Beach entry is several blocks away but beach is walkable and delightfully long. Beach trail overlooking beach is another nice feature.

Ideal location for a Half Moon Bay experience

My wife and I really loved the house and location. The house is on a sizable property, ensuring privacy and quiet in the back and side yard. The hot tub was as clean and as free of chlorine smell as I have ever experienced (great). We did not try the sauna but it looked good. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide range of equipment (I am an avid cook), some of which was new to me (nice grill pan). The beds were clean and comfortable (well, the one we used was, haha). There are lots of options for keeping warm (living room gas fire was super) although we barely needed much given that we lucked out with a very warm sunny spell. The home is one block from the ocean and this is a plus because while you can sit in the living room and see the ocean, and you can also sit on the front porch and not get blown away by the wind (it was amazingly sheltered). There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, even Princeton Jetty is walkable. Beach access is easy in both directions. The owner is super-nice, accommodating and responsive. I would not consider looking for a different place to stay again in HMB.
