Very nice cabin along riverside. Close to Townsend. Would love to see in summer. Wife would like to come back. Thatâs a great endorsement from her. We stay in condos and cabins all over and she rarely indicates I would to go back. If you are looking a for a quiet location thatâs great for a family or in our case just relaxing canât go wrong staying here.
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was a perfect getaway for us to take my recently widowed mother who hasnât been on a vacation in years. She absolutely loved every minute! Some of our highlights were watching a playful otter in the river behind the house and a bald eagle flew right past us as we were enjoying a fire in the pit!Everything was beautiful and our host Elaine made sure everything was perfect for our stay! Mom is already talking about our next trip there! We canât wait to come back.
The house is close to all the places we wanted to go: Cades Cove, The lost Sea and all different hiking trails in the Great Smoky mountains. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us I even caught a few fish on the river property.
Very nice property with everything you need. If you are looking for a nice place to sit in or by the river and be close to the Smokies, this is your place.
Great location, right off the road, easy to get to.House was very nice and loved the firepit area at night.Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean.Only thing I would say about house is that the floors in living areas, need better cleaning as there were left over items...especially under dining table and next item explained. Spider webs are common so not really issue, unless you don't like those 8 leg visitors.Would advise loose gravel parking, so not best for motorcycles, but very doable.Bring or buy own wood...as nothing really provided. We would stay there again, so nothing to really complain about. We also did a little art project during evening, after riding around...so look for rocks with few painting and saying. Enjoy
Excellent property! 20 minutes to the cove and 10 to the swimming hole. Had everything we needed and was extremely relaxing on the river. Host was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I would highly recommend
This house is perfectly situated on the river in an area that has extremely easy access. It was great for a two and a half year old to be able to play in the water as well as his pregnant mom, his dad, and me, his granny. It's a very short drive to Townsend and the park as well as Cades Cove.
We enjoyed our family vacation so much. The cabin has views of the little river from every room. Started our mornings with coffee on the upper deck watching the river. Our grandson enjoyed the hammock. We spent time in the river which was so relaxing. We saw a family of ducks, river otters, a big heron and a turtle. July 4th was a fun time there grilling hotdogs and spending time with family who live in the area. The beds were comfortable and there was everything needed to make meals in the kitchen. We hope to come back in future. It is a peaceful place and a quiet area.
It's hard to capture how awesome this location was in pictures. It was the perfect combination of everything we needed to keep a family of four (including a teenager) entertained and content. We loved just sitting out on the deck or by the firepit to just take in the river, but it was also a great location to go out and explore the more adventurous and 'tourist' sites of Pigeon Forge and other great places within an hour drive. We are already planning our next visit out.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin and grounds are clean and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable! We will certainly stay here again some time.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was nice and clean and we loved being right on the water. We will definitely be staying here again. Elaine was great to work with also!
Home size and location were gooOverall the location and home size worked for our families. The river access was great and the firepit and patio excellent. There was a nice flat space for boys to play in side. Cleaniless was not up to par: windows did not have screens and were dirty, toilet seat was broken and lid cracked, shower doors would not open or close easily. The hammock would have been nice but was really dirty and had beginnings of bee nest. The front porch needs a good powerwash. General maintenance and cleaning would make this an excellent property. ba. understand
Great property! Even though it is somewhat close to the main road you donât notice the traffic. It was really nice to sit on the beautiful patio next to the river and listen to it flow. Is only 10 minutes away from shopping and 15 from the park. Weâve been to the area about a half a dozen times and this was our favorite spot weâve stayed at.
Perfect location on a beautiful river. It snowed and the outside temperature was in the teens, but the house was nice and cozy and warm. Everything was very clean and well equipped. Our host was wonderful.
The home and the property is beautiful. The home is very clean and we had everything we needed as far as beds, blankets, toiletries, and cooking utensils. There is covered parking for cars, however, if raining, as in our case, you will get wet going to the car. The river is beautiful and sitting outside is very relaxing. Since it was winter, we didnât really get to use it.
