Perfect Beach Getaway

We had such an amazing time at this beach house! The location was unbeatable…steps from the sand with beautiful views. The house was clean, well-stocked, and perfect for a relaxing family trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

Jim and Mary were outstanding hosts and went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. Jim personally met me for check in and covered all the house amenities and made himself available for any of our needs. The house was perfect and was even better than the pictures showed. We booked the house for my parents and brothers with my nephews to stay in and it easily accommodated sleeping for 6 adults and 2 kids. Beach proximity and access was unbeatable with all the gear you could use included. The kids loved all the games in the house and it kept them entertained throughout the weekend. We would definitely book again if my family comes back to visit.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family stay at Jim and Mary's beach house that exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, making it easy for us to enjoy the sun and surf whenever we wanted.The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, providing plenty of room for our family. One of the highlights was the variety of games available. From board games to outdoor activities, there was something for everyone, keeping us entertained during our downtime.Overall, this beach house was a fantastic choice for our family vacation. We made unforgettable memories! We highly recommend for families looking for fun and relaxation.

Great family get away

What an amazing house! Jim was by far very kind and helpful upon our arrival. We were able to walk to the beach every day, there were restaurants and grocery close by. What a perfect location The house was even more beautiful in person with great space for all the family to enjoy.

Perfect Beach House Experience

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location can't be beat. The house is beautiful and also immaculately clean. Going to the beach with two young kids has never been so easy; the house is so well-stocked with a beach cart, chairs, toys and everything else you could need. Can't wait to come back for another stay!

This property is an absolute gem!

Beautifully appointed and equipped with everything we needed, the house is gorgeous and right by the beach. We had an absolutely amazing stay in the house. The hosts Jim and Mary were incredibly gracious and responsive to all our questions. We are so grateful that they shared their wonderful property with us for a fantastic family vacation. We would love to be back sometime!

This was our second stay at Jim and Mary's beautiful beach home. They were thoughtful hosts and provided everything (bikes, beach toys, wetsuits, boards, carts) to make our stay enjoyable. Beautiful home, great location!

The home was lovely, comfortable, bright and airy, had everything needed and more for our family getaway. Kids did online schooling, I enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen, walked to the beach and really enjoyed the neighborhood. The homeowners laid everything out very thoughtfully and were a pleasure to rent from. We’ll be back!

The house has been completely updated. It can easily accommodate 6 to 8 people. The bedrooms all have closets and cabinets to hang up your clothes and unpack your suitcase. The kitchen has all the needed appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, silverware, glasses and the backyard has a propane BBQ. You can relax on the large balcony, backyard patio or front yard chairs. The best extras are the air hockey table, foosball, bicycles and everything for the beach - boogie boards, surf boards, wet suits, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and a wagon to carry them. The beach is 200 ft away, has soft, clean sand and has plenty of space. It is about 100 yards wide and a mile long. The house has an outdoor shower to rinse off everyone and everything. There is a washer and dryer and coat racks to hang beach towels and swim suits to dry.

This beach house was awesome! Jim was very friendly and helpful in showing us around the house. The beach house was immaculate. There were also lots of beach toys, bikes, wet suits, etc. for us to use. Everything with the house was so well thought out and organized. Great location. Would definitely go back again.

We were so very happy to return to this home. James and Mary have put their caring stamp on this home. Every single detail is thought out and well placed. It is comfortable and luxurious. We can’t say enough about our experience here. This house was perfect. We are so thankful!

Awesome property!

This is a great property! The owner is hands on if you need anything but not overbearing in any way. We’ve stayed at several properties out in the Oxnard/Ventura area and this is by far now one of our favorites. It was VERY clean and had so many fun things to do…bikes, corn hole, beach right across the street, my fav all time vegan cafe, etc. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The only I might say to other renters is that it looks as if this was built as 2 separate rental units, so there’s a kitchen (no oven) bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a small area to watch TV downstairs and upstairs is basically the same along with a beautiful kitchen. If you’re traveling with other families this floor plan might work really well if you want a little space from each other. If you’re looking for a big, fun great room for a crowd this is not the rental for you. Cheers!

Beach Dreams Come True!

Our stay in Jim and Mary's beach home was perfect! Jim personally introduced us to their beautiful retreat, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully and tastefully chosen, including a "Better at the Beach" basket of goodies for our family! The classy, yet cozy beach decor was light and serene with plenty of windows and coastal air. Our family of adult children enjoyed bikes and beach toys, and of course, the proximity to the sand! The kitchen was completely stocked with every tool, platter, and serving bowl we could ever need for our large group of 8, as well as dining tables with room for 10! The entire home was so carefully maintained and pristine. We were delighted to enjoy such a perfect spot and our time was truly a blessing! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Michael and Karrie

Such a beautiful home. Very well taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. Has a great location, sitting right across the street from the beach and very close to beach access. The owner, Jim was very polite and respectful of our time. Met us at the property at check in for a quick walk through to show us how everything works. Our family would love to stay again. Could Not Have Been Better

This is a lovely home that is extremely well-maintained and perfect for a large family. We had our daughter and her husband with us, who loved the downstairs kitchen (they have a 3 month old and it was nice for them to be able to take care of the baby in the night without disturbing the rest of the family). The main kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen and we just loved our stay here. Could not have been better!

Fabulous!

The adults and kids had so much fun staying in this comfortable beautiful home with easy access to the beach. The home’s amenities were unbelievably great- large kitchen, hot water, comfortable beds, multiple parking and all the equipment for a fun beach experience - boogie boards, wet suits, chairs, umbrellas and buggies to roll everything through the sand for easy set up and an outdoor shower for easy clean up.

Wonderful stay

The location is amazing and the house is wonderful; very clean, stocked with everything you might need for a get away. The separate living spaces made it a great set up for two families. Plenty of parking, which is hard to come by in this neighborhood. Easiest check in/check out process I have experienced. Will definitely stay here again!
