What I enjoy most is how easy and effortless life feels here. You can walk to nearby shops, grab a coffee, or take a quick tram from St Kilda Road or Chapel Street to explore the city. Public transport also makes it simple to reach the University of Melbourne, even without a car.

It’s also a wonderful area for families, with a free outdoor playground just 50 metres away, sandy beach fun, and the unique experience of watching penguins at sunset near the breakwater. Luna Park is close by for a bit of nostalgia and fun.

For dining and nightlife, Chapel Street in South Yarra offers vibrant bars and restaurants, and the CBD is only a short tram ride away.
