What I enjoy most is how easy everything is. You can walk to shops, grab a coffee nearby, or take a tram from St Kilda Road or Chapel Street to explore the city. If you’re visiting the University of Melbourne, public transport makes it simple and convenient to get there, even without a car.
The area is also great for families. There is a calm park just 50 metres away, perfect for children to play and enjoy the outdoors. For something special, Brighton Beach is also nearby, well known for its colourful beach boxes.
There are so many things to enjoy around St Kilda. You can visit Acland Street Village for Gelato or fish and chips or afternoon chills, watch a show at the Palais Theatre, or enjoy outdoor activities like golf or even parasailing near the beach. One of the most unique experiences is seeing the little penguins at sunset along the St Kilda breakwater.
