Borrowdale is a cosy ex-farm manager's cottage conveniently located less than five minutes from the township of Berry and ten minutes from Seven Mile Beach. Nestled on 25 acres of farmland and perched high on Moeyan Hill, it offers great privacy with breathtaking views of the escarpment north to Saddleback Mountain and sweeping rural countryside stretching east to Gerroa and the sea.



This charming two-bedroom cottage features a queen-size bed in each bedroom, two bathrooms, and spacious living areas. The open-plan living and bedrooms lead onto a wrap-around verandah, where you can take in the tranquil garden and lawns. Whether you're looking for an active getaway—exploring the area, surfing, golfing, or hiking—or simply want to unwind with a book and a glass of wine, 'Borrowdale' is the perfect retreat. Ideal for two couples or a small family.

There is no TV reception at Borrowdale. There is a DVD player connected to a TV.



Please note - we do not accept any back to back bookings at Borrowdale. If there is guests checking IN or OUT backing onto dates you have selected online we will ask to you move your booking back one day before confirming the details.



Firewood is provided from Easter Long Weekend to October Long Weekend or as per the direction of the NSW Rural Fire Service fire danger ratings and fire bans.

We enjoyed our stay, the property is located in a very quiet area which made it an excellent place to relax and recharge the batteries! On the whole the property has been looked after although a few things need some TLC.

Incredible setting

Perfect family friendly house in a beautiful setting. We loved exploring the garden and paddocks with our two young kids and watching the incredible sunrises from the balcony each morning. Great stay!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Borrowdale. The home is very spacious inside and is very well equipped for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is lovely and a variety of games were provided. The views from the verandas were gorgeous and we were cosy warm with both fires going. We’ll definitely be back.

A lovely place to stay

We are 4 family members 60+ and wanted a realaxing place with a great location and all the facilities. We found it and were rewarded with excellent views from the front deck. Cannot fault anything...

Views of the Escarpment!!!

Arthouse, so much space, views and a couple of very good fireplaces what more could you want and not to mention near the amazing seven mile beach.

Beautifully secluded but close to town

Our stay was beautiful, the property feels like it is very secluded with the views out to the escarpment but is close enough to town centre (5 minutes) that we would just do coffee and pastry runs for breakfast! Our toddler loved just exploring the property and the horses up the road. Having two fireplaces in the house was also lovely!

Beautiful getaway

Perfect location with a beautiful outlook, just far enough away from Berry to relax but close enough to grab a coffee and pastry. The home has everything you need with fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space. The two fireplaces ensure the house is adequately heated and extra blankets are provided. Board games and books give a homely atmosphere and would stay again.

easy check in process everything we needed for a restful stay loved the fireplaces set ready for use and wood within easy reach comfortable abode little touches nice.. fully equipped kitchen much appreciated views to die for requests for future electric blankets second steamer for sungazing on the verandah bath bomb provided clean mattress/protector address broken fly screens and mozzie problem inside the house

Weekend stay

Stayed for 2 nights. Nice little house in great location. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. A couple of minor issues, top of fridge needs a wipe down and there are old star pickets sticking out of the ground at the steps in the yard. Stood on one with bare feet! A bit of tv reception wouldnt go astray as well. Fix these things and ill give you a 5 star rating.

Bucolic Bliss

My partner an I have been staying here for years. Love it. We have always been reluctant to review it because we want it to remain our little secret. It is clean, cosy, comfortable and well set up. Outstanding views and wonderfully peaceful. You feel like you’re a million miles from anywhere but Berry is only a few minutes away. We would recommend it to anyone who wants a few days of R&R

SO UNCLEAN

This property was covered in dog hair, so beyond dirty as well. the walls, floors cutlery, and every utensil. EVERYTHING was grime. I didn't stay and i left.
