Walker Delight - 1 to 3 months Short Term Rental
Quiet and full of character, make this minimalist house your home away this summer -A min. 8 weeks period apply in between 7 of December to 2nd of March (12 weeks total).
Nestled in Whau Valley area, this 3 bedroom house is 50m away from the shared path entrance (access to Kamo/ City Centre ways) and 200m away from several shops. SH1 access is 350m away so get to town in 5 min, Hospital in 8 min and Kensington in 2 min.
Perfect for workers, families, riders & church enthusiasts (ie. Kamo road)
This is a 120 m2 house which has an open plan kitchen/ dining room and living room (living room with TV can be closed by sliding door), 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with separate toilet as well as a separate laundry area.
Expect lovely rimu floors and door frames, as well as wide/ confortable hallways to move around the house. Expect a clean property with confortable mattresses.
Windows have been retrofitted with double glazing and most exterior walls have had thermal/ acoustic insulation installed. The wall that separates room 1 from room 2 has also been soundproofed.
The house is quite fresh in summer and although we rarely use them, two heat pumps are also available to ensure you remain fresh in unusually hot days. There is also an extra fan available.
The outdoor area comprises of a separate garage which has been turned into a rumpus area - table, chairs, cushions will be available to enjoy those sunny summer days while using the pizza oven or charcoal barbecue grill. Garage can be locked - perfect to store your own bikes while staying at the property. Enjoy veggies from the garden beds, lemons from the tree, let the kids run in the flat grassed areas. Note also, the property is fully fenced.
We want this stay to feel like home for you and we will do our part to help set it up in a way that helps you trully enjoy it and make the most of it - examples:
1)- happy to leave kids toys to be enjoyed
2)- We can sow your preferred veggies to our organic raised beds (note we do not use fertilisers, and will not allow non organic gardening) in time to be enjoyed during your stay.
3)- The master bedroom could fit one more king single/ single bed if there was a need to host more people.
4)- The third bedroom (small size, currently fit with a king single bed and trundler) could be turned into an office.
5)- Others, tell us about it so we can consider on a case by case basis.
