A spacious, modern open plan living area (kitchen, dining & lounge), leads through glass doors to the sunny & large, undercover deck perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need including a Nespresso pod coffee machine.
Three bedrooms all with loads of natural light. Bedroom 1 has a Queen size bed, bedroom 2 a Double bed and bedroom 3 has 2 singles.
Plenty of room to spread out with a second TV/ DVD in a separate room.
An outdoor shower is ideal to wash the sand off when returning from your day at the beach.
Reverse cycle air conditioning, fans & flyscreens on all windows. For the colder months, a wood heater has been installed. Extra large grassed flat corner block with native garden provides room for holiday cricket & footy games as well as parking for cars & boats.
Access: There are 4 steps from front lawn to deck/front door but no steps inside house.

Dog Friendly: Well behaved dogs are permitted. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds, and are not to be left at the property unattended. A small area of the back yard is fenced, but the front is not. All traces of your dog from inside and outside the property (including dog droppings and bones) must be removed from the premises prior to departure.

- Guest Access

You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.

- Neighbourhood

Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
The property is located close to the main beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waratah Bay Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch your boat at Shallow Inlet, just a short 5 minute drive. It's famous for wind surfing, kite surfing and fishing.
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, petrol, gas, bottle shop and an Australia Post outlet.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade (seasonal).
Playgrounds, Tennis courts (equipment can be hired from the General Store), Half basketball court & public bbq areas are located next to the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The Sandy Point Community Centre hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.

Sandy Point is a great base for exploring the local region. With Wilsons Promontory a short drive away, you can enjoy a range of short and long hikes that include breath taking beaches, rivers and wildlife encounters.
The historic towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are an easy drive away, offering outstanding local produce, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and wineries.
Also in easy reach is the historic Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and Walkerville Lime Kilns at the famous Magic Beach, Walkerville South.
The Great Southern Rail Trail (131kms) runs from Nyora to Yarram and can be accessed at Fish Creek, it's ideal for biking or walking.

- Getting Around

Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.


- Other things to note

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
