We had a lovely stay in Sandy Point. Poplar Cottage was simple but comfortable and pleasant. A quiet location with a gentle walk to the beach. The welcomed day of rain really freshened up the garden and all of the coastline. Would love to stay again.
Had a lovely break at the property. Some nice renovations have been made to the older property. Split system kept the front of the house cool despite the warm weather.Shortish walk to the beautiful Sandy Beach beach. The house itself has a few rough edges (such as floor tiles not flush, and older outer buildings) but on the whole it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Hi Myself and my partner Ross have 2 12 year old boys , Ross has been in the hospitality business ( a chefs ) for may years so will make sure house is stocked with pots pans etc . We have owned a couple of houses in Sandy point and love to rent out house out so others can enjoy Sandy point whilst we are not there
Sandy point in my opinion is the best beach in Victoria . Itâs safe to swim yet still has a wave or two to make life interesting . I grew up going to Sandy Point , my parents had a house in the Boulavard . I chose this location over many in Sandy point as I wanted to be close to shop and the flagged beach .
The large block of land makes poplar cottage unique and the fact it is in one of the very few coarts in sandy point . We believe that a beach holiday house should bring the outside in , so when we refurbished we concentrated on making sure all walls had windows to look out in garden
