Me and my girlfriend recently stayed and very much enjoyed it. Everything provided in the apartment was well thought out and useful, making it feel very homely. The close proximity to the Main street was convenient. The host was lovely and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Jane‘s property is amazing. It is in a great location and walking distance to everything. The furnishings and decor are impeccable. Jane has thought of everything including labelling items for ease of use. Everything is in its place and the property has all the items you need for a getaway. There is underground parking which is a bonus. The photos on the website are beautiful, but once you walk inside it truly takes your breath away!! it is a credit to Jane - she is very particular, has exceptional taste and communicates very well. She ensures that your stay is perfect. This will be our “go to” when in Bowral.

The host, Jane, has created the most amazing experience for guests at Archie’s Bowral. She has achieved that rare balance between luxurious and homely accommodation. The level of communication throughout the whole process was outstanding. We loved our brief stay and would definitely book Archie’s again if returning to the region.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay while my husband had surgery. Archies had everything we needed to feel completely at home, and communication with the host was super prompt and easy. The space has a lovely, modern feel and is so cozy. The bed actually reclines and massages. It was an absolute lifesaver for unwinding after a long day, and for my husband who needed to recline after surgery.The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes from Bowral’s main street and right next door to Bistro Sociale, which we can highly recommend for dinner. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! We tried The Hospital Shop Cafe and the nearby playgrounds. We loved walking around town. We were able to see the tulips on Thursday after we arrived on the train and just relaxed on Friday. My daughter loved all the toys and games.There wasn't anything missing in your apartment! Thanks, we'd love to come again sometime :)

Relaxing Highlands Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at Archies. The apartment is beautifully renovated, extremely comfortable and contains so many thoughtful inclusions - loved the snuggly bathrobes! We appreciated the peaceful location for a country escape and the walkable distance to Bowral’s beautiful shops and cafes. Hubby was so impressed that he could just walk across the road for a game of golf at Bowral Country Club. Thank you so much for being the perfect host, Jane.

We had a perfect 5 night stay in Bowral. The apartment, communication & location was just perfect. Jane has achieved the most beautiful result with her renovation. The apartment is located well on the 2nd floor, at the end of the corridor. It was just so quiet, light filled, cosy & comfortable; with all necessities available [including heated towel rails]. The under cover carpark is also a big plus. Walking distance to Bowral cafes, shops etc.We hope your apartment is available for our next visit.

I honestly can't think of a single thing this lovely apartment DIDN'T have. We have stayed in a lot of apartments around the world and this was by far the best-equipped and well thought out - cutlery, crockery, utensils, games, information, magazines, books and more.It's also a lovely comfortable apartment in a quiet, peaceful spot a hop skip and a jump from a very nice hotel with a great bar and restaurant and an easy stroll to Bowral centre. I shouldn't be telling you this because we want to go back soon and it's already almost completely booked out until next April. Jand was brilliant, her communication was impeccable and we'd give it ten stars if we could.

Lovely property in a great location. Excellent kitchen with all amenities. Decor is tasteful throughout. Hosts were very friendly and highly communicative. Unfortunately, when we checked in at 5pm (check in was 4pm), we found the property unclean. The beds were not made, there were food scraps and stains, the floors were dirty. After calling the host, she informed us that there was some mix-up with their cleaners. She arranged for someone to come in then. A lady came in and tried to do the clean, while we were still sitting there, which was very inconvenient. The host offered to buy us a drink at the hotel next door, but after being on the road all day, we were really just looking to get our young child fed and ready for bed. Unfortunately, we had to sit around for another 2 hours, while some of the clean was done, and that too after we pitched in and helped. The hosts did offer us a late check-out, but we were unable to avail of that as we already had plans. The hosts did try to make it up to us, but unfortunately arriving at a messy house in the evening after a day on the road leaves a terrible first impression. It's a real shame because the property itself was great and we had a lovely weekend, but the start of it was not nice. Hopefully the hosts will resolve this issue and it will not happen to other guests in the future.

Yes we apologise that annissye we had with tge calendar syncing between the various booking sites we are on meant we had the wrong arrival date for this family. We offered everything we possibly coukd to make it up to them and are glad we were able to resolve things and that they loved the location and the apartment. Thank you for your patience. We are seriously considering removing oursreves from all but one of these online platforms as this has affected this family's stay and our rating.

The Archie’s apartment was beautiful, immaculate and extremely comfortable. Jane has thought of everything, the decor is stunning and the views through the windows are lovely. You can relax on the day bed or sit in the lounge area.The apartment is a short walk to Bowral town centre and is also close to the villages of the Highlands.It became our home away from home and we enjoyed “living” there for the duration of our stay.

Property was very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It is located very close to central Bowral. We were particularly impressed with the electric bed which provided options for raising head and leg area independently on each side of the bed. We had very restful sleeps.

Amazingly clean, fresh, airy, light, comfortable apartment in a great location. The kitchen has everything you have in your home kitchen if you desire to cook at home. Very quiet surrounds & so close to Bowral town to walk for your coffee each morning. And meander to surrounding areas in the afternoon & return to the sun room at Archie's for sun set discovery. Great for a weekend or a week as we have done twice so far. Parking is undercover, which is great & Jane [our host] is a marvellous communicator. Thanks so much Jane. Hope to be back soon [maybe with my daughter next time to see the gardens].
