We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was spotless, clean, and well cared for, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing visit, and it was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining it. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay.

Great stay

Great spot to stay. Very clean. Comfortable beds. coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, condiments and even some cereal supplied, as well as bathroom supplies of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Would stay again. Hostess very responsive.

This home was very clean and very well appointed with lots of amenities in the kitchen and the bathroom. We were very happy with our stay there. My only suggestion is more mirrors in the bedrooms and more towels for the guests.We also had a hard time getting our SUV in the driveway so we opted to park in front of the house which was OK. Overall, I will stay was very good and we would stay there again! Thank you for everything Susanne group.

Check in was easy and host communicated well..We did have big black ants crawling over the kitchen counters so yeah...they brought traps...spring though..that time of yearThe tenant next door had up to 3 cars in driveway sometimes..blocking the parking spot..i had to knock on the door on first 2 nights to get him to move his vehicle..he was cooperative and issue got sortedBeds were comfortable and bathroom was clean..over all happy..just those mknor issues that hot addressed

Nicely provisioned, convenient location

The house is really well furnished with just about anything you’d need for a multi day stay. The host has put serious thought into what conveniences you’ll need. All appliances worked well. Beds are very comfortable, nice linens. In a working class neighborhood only a few blocks walk from grocer, coffee shop, small businesses. On a Saturday night there was only a little traffic noise. Would return if ever in the area again.

The host was very accommodating to some requests we made to make us more comfortable. We had some difficulty parking in the driveway because of other cars there and wheeling luggage around air conditioners hanging over the narrow sidewalk. It should be mentioned that this is a below ground level apartment. Nevertheless it was clean and the 3 bedrooms served us well. It was also close to downtown Halifax, but a bit of a shabby neighborhood.

Dartmouth adventure

This is a basement apartment. Fairly well equipped.There was a number of ants in the apartment….hopefully the owner will take care of this. The apartment worked for us as we were in and out….they might want to up date the outside as there was garbage around and the grass was quite long.A small issue with the parking as far as the spot, but was addressed by the owner!The own was easy to deal with and wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Disappointment

Damp basement suite unexpected.Musty had to constantly empty humidifier.Uncomfortable mattresses.Location in rundown part of town.Someone washing their car in driveway.Very tight driveway for 3 cars.Garbage bags in front yard where I had to park because of other cars in driveway.

Just to clarify, our basement suite is above ground with full-sized windows in all rooms, allowing for natural light and proper ventilation. We provide a dehumidifier during humid conditions as a precaution, and we’ll continue to monitor its effectiveness. For parking, we provide one designated spot for our VRBO guests. It’s possible that one of our long-term tenants had a visitor, which may have made the driveway feel crowded — we’re sorry for any inconvenience this caused. Regarding garbage, it is regularly collected in the black bin located in the backyard, and should not have been an issue in the front. We truly wish you had reached out during your stay, we would have done our best to remedy any concerns right away. Thank you again for sharing your feedback.

Very spacious and clean basement apartment. Large king bed in master room. All beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all amenities and condiments needed for any meal. Access to the apartment is on the right side of the house. The only suggestion to make is to pave a wider path to the door to carry luggage in. Great communication with Sia. I was a little apprehensive at first because of the location and was super pleasantly surprised at the fantastic accommodations. I know we're all apprehensive about a basement apartment but this one was unbelievably beautiful, super well supplied, very clean. In fact, we were preparing with a lot of females for a wedding the next day and the one thing missing was a full length mirror. I texted Sia our host and mentioned that we might need a full length mirror. I was only expecting a 10 or 15 simple full-length mirror from Walmart and yet she delivered to us within hours. A beautiful very expensive LED lit full length mirror. If I could leave 10 stars I would.xoxox. Thank you Sia will be back
