I live upstairs, alongside another companion. We offer you the lovely, quiet, fully self-contained, entire lower level of the house, with exclusive usage of the backyard, pool, hot tub, and all downstairs areas. You have your own private entrance straight from the car port off the street, for an easy-breezy, self check-in entry.
The inside area includes a comfy bedroom, large walk-in wardrobe with lots of storage space, full laundry, bathroom with shower+toilet+basin, dedicated living + dining room, and a kitchenette with enough amenities to cook a full meal.
The outside area comprises a large pool, a hot tub, twin sun lounges + drinks table under a retractable marquee umbrella, a large padded lie-flat deck chair, hammock, two grassy spaces, multiple succulent gardens, spacious sunny courtyard, and plenty of space to directly get the sun, with one area providing the option for fully private sunbathing.

We think this is the best short-stay pool in Brisbane! Not only is it unusually large for a residential pool; not only do you have 100% exclusive usage of it, unlike shared pools in apartment buildings or hotels; but this pool has zero chlorine in it - not a single drop - no chemical nasties whatsoever!
We have undertaken extensive effort to convert our pool to a 100% non-chlorinated system which uses alternative and fully non-toxic sanitisers, biocides and clarifiers. It's a unique blend of natural borate minerals, powerful enzymes, non-chemical aeration/oxygenation, UV-activated hydrogen peroxide, and ultrafine microfiltration.
The result? Beautifully soft, silky smooth, fresh-feeling, non-harsh, and non-odorous water, for luxurious daytime and nighttime swimming. In the midday sun, it can glow a tropical, aqua greeny blue, and truly feel like you're swimming in the Tahiti ocean. It's a magical place... ;) 🏝

All-year-round luxury, no matter the season! Enjoy the poolside hot tub with 40° C (104° F) heated temperature by default, luxurious bubble jets, and comfortable space for 2+ people.
Just like the pool, this hot tub is blessed with a 100% zero-chlorine water treatment. No chlorine burn or skin dryness on your way out, just clean and replenished skin!

For pool and sun worshippers, we are officially offering this entire place as clothing optional. If you are so inclined, you may skinny dip and sunbathe au naturale, to your heart's content. (One of us upstairs is a genuine naturist since ten+ years so we are fully body-positive people.)
As for us, you'll never see us by default. We'll be just like a neighbour and never cross into your zone downstairs.
(You'll note in the photos that there are neighbours on the side. Everyone just keeps to themselves. It's rare to even see neighbours, and we enjoy our backyard au naturale when we use the space.)

We offer a fast Wi-Fi 7 connection, tested up to ~400 Mbps on most wireless devices - but as a rare perk, we provide a direct gigabit ethernet connection, to both the bedroom and the living room - tested up to 989 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up!
You might just want to keep coming back to this place for the amazing Internet. WFH paradise? Answer that email, dive in the pool, wash, rinse, repeat - literally.

With a large Officeworks just 4 mins walk down the hill for any printing or electronics needs, this place is attractive for the digital nomad professional.
We don't yet have a full-on dedicated working space - but the dining table in the bright living room can serve as a desk, and perhaps you are comfortable with other corners and configurations possible in the space.
And who said you can't work right by the pool? Check out our photo showing 300Mbps+ speed, directly under the poolside umbrella.

People love our comfy king-size bed. Guests have even asked what model of bed base it is, and what sheets! I've fallen in love with bamboo - we provide 100% bamboo sheets, for a beautifully soft sleep. The duvet is also made of breathable bamboo. A woven cotton blanket provides extra layers as needed.
Air conditioning in the bedroom allows you to reliably control temperature and humidity all night long, whatever the season, so you won't have to go cold or hot.
𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 - 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗱
The living room can double up as a second bedroom for an extra guest. The couch is a convenient click-clack style futon, and folds out into a single bed. Please note, a nightly fee applies for extra guests. Select number of guests when making reservation.
Without the mattress topper, the sofa bed is actually wider than single at 106.5 cm, so possibly two small kids can sleep on it quite comfortably. It's still quite padded even without mattress topper.
As shown by photos, the sofa bed can be click-clacked back to upright position, even with bottom sheet and mattress topper on it, to be used as communal sofa during the day without resetting bedding completely. Nifty!
(Note: king size bed is also very big, and can potentially fit three people also.)

This place has grounded luxury - luxury where it counts! This downstairs bathroom is blessed with the strongest water pressure that we have ever seen. We have broken hoses trying to contain it in the garden. It's become a feature!
We've installed a non-restricted shower head, which allows the full force to gush through like a waterfall - at least if you turn it all the way up - providing a luxurious - or if you're in a rush, a more efficient - experience.
Have a quick blast to clear your head, before you dash out. Or how about a long, hot shower waterfall? We're just fine with that. There's continual gas heating. Welcome to luxury. You deserve it.

Convenient, fully featured laundry, stocked with natural-style, organic washing liquids, powers and staples (like vinegar, bicarb, washing soda). Deep laundry basin for cold or hot hand washing. Portable drying rack. Washing machine includes 90° hot wash. Dryer for your convenience, no matter the weather. Iron + ironing board. Everything needed for travelling professionals to do their clothes reliably, and fast.

Easy free parking right out front off the street. Save time - no faffing around in a hotel or apartment building with entry cards and codes, or finicky tight space restrictions. Just park right off the street, in our provided car port.
If you want to park on the street or have a visitor over, between 4pm Fri and 9am Mon, parking in the area is unlimited and free. Otherwise, it's free for 2P duration. To get around that restriction, let us know in advance and we can assign up to two visitor cars with temporary digital parking permits.

You will love how close you are to all the action in the city - or close-by at Suncorp - yet our locale and our street is so quiet! You'll wonder why you bother with those giant apartment blocks on those roaring, noisy city streets, ever again.
Being in the centre of Milton, there are so many excellent places to eat out, whether they're a walk or short drive / taxi away, and Uber Eats is an additional option for many of them.
𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀
If you thought our street was calm, wait until you venture down into the poolside sanctuary. Cocooned and protected by the upstairs floor which takes in the cars going past on the street, down here, you're a world away from everything. Our pool's waterfall provides healing sounds, and you'll have a peaceful and healthful stay in our quiet, safe neighbourhood. (Only occasionally, one neighbour has a party for a few hours on the weekend.)

On Monday nights, I also need to access upstairs deck (above your space) to take out the bins, then put them back the next day.

We love our Milton location. It's so quiet where we are (save the occasional event at Suncorp), yet so close to everything in the city - just a 9-minute car ride to the Southbank venues like art galleries or Brisbane Convention Centre.
We have a really great dining scene with more than one hotspot containing a variety of quality ethnic eats.
We also have a hodgepodge of useful outlets nearby like a full Officeworks only 4 minutes' walk from our place, and 6-days-a-week, 7am coffee literally 30 seconds from our house.
It's got a lot to offer!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
Our best feature - and one of the reasons guests are booking our place - is the pool. Brisbane can get very hot and muggy, and there's nothing like a luxurious pool to cool down - or soak in - all day. When it comes time for winter, our hot tub takes care of that, so the place is desirable all year long.
