Located on a quiet street with no thru traffic, this comfortable two-apartment home is in a highly sought after location steps away from Hampton Beach. Each well equipped apartment offers 3 bedrooms/2 full baths on separate levels and was renovated in 2020 with new, paint, mattresses, and bedding. For your comfort, a wall mounted A/C/heating unit was added. This apartment has two private porches located on opposite ends so visitors have an option of relaxing in sun or shade, viewing beachgoers or Wednesday night fireworks. Other apartment features are separate entrances and exits, keyless entry, shared covered outdoor tables for dining, designated smoking area, gas grill, and hot water outdoor shower. Onsite parking for 2 vehicles is included with additional parking space(s) available for prearranged purchase.
We are located 140 yards from the beach, steps away from entertainment, centers, restaurants, and coffee houses. Sorry, no parties, events, or pets.
This property has easy access to Routes 101, 1 and 1A.

We've stayed many times at the Virginia Lee and we enjoyed it as much as ever. Great location to beach/beach bathrooms. Everything is within walking distance which is fabulous. Lots of space and beautiful outdoor area. Enjoy having my cup of coffee out on the front porch every morning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Just the best!

This is our second stay at this property. The accommodations are excellent, the property is beautiful, and just a short walk to the beach. The host is so helpful. I’d definitely stay again.

Annual trip to Hampton.

It was our second visit to this property. Perfect location, short walk to the beach and quick response of communication with the owner. Cant wait to return next year with my parents and my kids.

A great place to relax and enjoy the beach

The home was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The owners were attentive and helpful We were there after the Labor Day rush and enjoyed the quieter pace. A lovely place to relax and a nice change of scenery during our COVID hibernation.

Extremely clean. Landlord very responsive and friendly. Had a problem connecting to WiFi at first but she was very prompt in changing out the router so it worked. The property is in a great location as advertised. I would stay again if in the area

Relaxing stay!

We come to this location every year. Wonderful hosts, super friendly and accommodating! The location is within walking distance to everything you could want or need. You won't have to use your vehicle the entire time you're there! The house itself is so inviting and roomy! Can't wait to come back, thanks again! :)

Wonderful Experience

Property was on a quiet street, conveniently located near beach,stores and restaurants. Apartment was immaculate, beds were comfortable,plenty of kitchenware. Lovely front porch to sit and read on. Back deck and sitting area very nice too. Parking on site was great.Owners could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Would definitely rent again!

So close to beach!

Erin was super easy to work with. The house was great, well stocked with essentials and everything we needed and more! It is so close to the one of the ramp entrances to the beach which with kids is so convenient. My only negatives aren’t really negatives about the place just that it’s not well suited to babies or toddlers and that only due to limited space for pack n plays. We had a great stay and would be happy to stay again.

Seafood fest

We've been coming here for years, which says alot! We love Erin as she is so pleasant and accommodating, we enjoy our conversations with her! Her home is always so welcoming and the space is great, plenty of room. Great location to everything and everything is within walking distance. One of the things I enjoy the most is that when I park my car...it stays parked for the entire trip! Thanks again for hosting us! ❤️ parked for he whole time!

Perfect little cottage

Cottage was perfect for 3 adults. Easy walking to boardwalk, restaurants and the Flamingo Cafe! Place was very clean and organized. No closets, but hanging made available with hooks and hangers. Lovely front and back porches. Appreciated the board games and plenty of cookware, though limited space for the groceries. There is a separate beverage fridge which was nice. Good communication with host. Would recommend for small family or 3 adults, living area has one sofa ( very comfy) and one recliner type chair. It was perfect for us.

Great place and wonderful location

This is our second time staying at this property and we absolutely love it. So close to the beach and everything is within walking distance. The home was lovely and has ample space, we really loved the front porch and back area as well. Beds were so comfortable, we all slept so good! You can tell when you walk in the home alot of love was put into making your stay comfortable. They really go above and beyond to accommodate. I absolutely recommend this home!! Thank you for another wonderful stay and great memories..until next time!! ❤

Great beach getaway! ⛱️

Property was super clean & organized! Many extra comforts of a home away from home (extra towels, food seasoning, griddle...). Erin was available on site, accommodating & friendly. Property is on a dead end street, so very little traffic & walking distance to everything Hampton Beach has to offer, perfect location!

The beach

The owners were very helpful. We had all thats expected at a rental. The place was clean. A little noisy, but that was do to construction on both sides. Real close to beach and other activities. Street is not a thru Street so less traffic. Nice area in back for out door cooking and relaxing. Great front and rear porches. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Hi Ron, typically with a seasonal vacation destination all construction projects are performed during the off season. So, I'm very sorry that work on the street did not wrap up before the season began. I would like to discount your 2024 stay for the inconvenience. We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Clean and comfortable

Very comfortable and clean apartment close to the beach and restaurants. My friends and I didn’t do any cooking but seemed like the kitchen had everything you would need. Very comfortable beds. Minor issue, would have liked some facecloths and a few more towels. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and going for walks along the beach

Hi, There is always someone who can respond to requests quickly and there were unused towels in the unit when your group left, but we could have run over more if you made the request, but you have to reach out allowing use to help keep you happy. thx

Perfect beach cottage!

Accommodations perfect for our family’s needs. Accurately described. The three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms a must for families/ friends. We had a wonderful time in Hampton, NH. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place!

We visited during Seafood fest as we do every year and had a wonderful time. Erin and her family we wonderful people, very nice to talk to. The home had plenty of room and was very clean and welcoming. The home is so close to the beach and activities. We loved our stay here and we would highly recommend.

Great location

This property was a prime spot for the beach! It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach! Close to the strip, shops and restaurants! The place had plenty of space for all of us and everything we needed! The owners were very friendly and accommodating, helped us out with parking which was great!! I would recommend this place to people!

Ideal vacation spot

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! First, the location is ideal-- steps away from the beach and all of the shops and restaurants. Secondly, the accommodations were perfect for our group of 5 adults. The owners have thought of everything from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. The unit was immaculate and very well laid out. Although I wish the cold and rainy weather hadn't occurred, it gives me a good reason to return to this wonderful place!

Off season stay

We were very happy to find this property for a last minute stay. It is only 6 houses from the beach on a dead end street, read no traffic. The property is not winterized but was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Erin provided local apples that were appreciated. The property is small, but well laid out. It would be tight for more than 4 adults. Also be aware that during our stay many of the beachfront restaurants and shops were closed for the season. We would recommend this property without hesitation.

The property was purchased in Sept of 2019 by a Southern New Hampshire husband and wife team skilled with property renovation. Their intent is to have a comfortable beach retreat to share and eventually pass onto their 3 daughters. The Virginia Lee Cottages consists of 3 units, VL1 (lower unit of the multi-family cottage), VL2 (upper unit of the multi-family cottage) and the Tender (bungalow style stand alone rear cottage) with outdoor seating and a shower in the shared space between the cottages. The property is available to rent when not in use by family & friends and currently none of the cottages are winterized therefore, the units are not available November through mid-April.
