Historic private 3 bed 2 bath, Walk to the University.

An elegant vintage home in the heart of the university area; minutes to downtown and Banner UMC hospital. Close to dining and cultural events. Located in a quiet neighborhood.
The home has a fully walled yard and locked gate for secure, private, on property parking. Two reserved parking spots are also available in front of the house. The home is beautifully furnished; full of charm, with thoughtfully curated art. Ideal for couples/friends/families who a want comfortable gathering areas for shared time, but also desire separate bedrooms & bathrooms. As of August 2025 we have added an additional renovated casita, (180 sq, ft.) ; apart from the main house for study and relaxing.
A spacious bathroom is adjacent to the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom includes a Memory Foam king sized bed. The additional bedrooms features a twin and queen beds with Tuft and Needle mattresses. These two bedrooms are in their separate area with a large walk-in rain shower creating privacy for all. WIFI equipped for internet access on your device, also connected to the Smart TV's in the living room and queen bedroom. Simply login to your favorite streaming apps.
Our backyard features a roomy furnished covered patio for enjoying the outdoor Tucson atmosphere. There is a charcoal BBQ for your outdoor cooking. For pet owners, the property has a large secure yard for your furry BFF to roam safely. A portion of pet fees collected will be contributed to Tucson area animal welfare agencies.

Minutes to food shopping, coffee shops, live music, McKale Center, Tucson Poetry Center, Tucson Festival of Books, Randolph Park, Tucson Rodeo-"Fiesta de los Vaqueros", and the Arizona Stadium. Enjoy Tucson's varied UNESCO City of Gastronomy designation for its rich culinary heritage. Tucson prides itself on "The best 23 miles of Mexican food". Casa Reina is a great home base for Southern Arizona bird-watching outings. Close to Sunlink-the Tucson streetcar and convenient to bus lines.

A 10 minute drive to Randolph Park; featuring a public year-'round handicap/children accessible swimming pool zoo, tennis, a golf driving range, pool, golf courses, a walking/biking loop, dog park and a duck pond. Also home of Arizona Wildcat baseball stadium- Hi Corbett field.

Wonderful Stay!

My dad and I enjoyed our stay. Ann and Bruce were excellent hosts. They had a snack waiting for us upon our arrival along with a sweet welcome note. They were very quick to respond to communications. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We would stay again if ever back in the area.

We had a great time. My daughter attends University of Arizona, and we could walk to the University. VRBO ticked all of our boxes. Easy communication with host.We hope to use location again in the future.

A perfect 'home base' for exploring Tucson!

Our family stayed at this sweet home over spring break and I would absolutely recommend it! The house was very clean and well stocked, and the location was convenient for us to visit everything that Tucson had to offer. 5 stars and we would certainly stay there again!

Lovely home

The interior was thoughtfully designed and decorated with a flair for creativity and utilization of a lot of Southwest art pieces, and accessories. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked, and the hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful little sanctuary

A girlfriend and I had a great stay at this cute, quiet, extremely comfortable house. Convenient, super cute, all the extras were there. Beds, bathroom VERY comfortable and up to date. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location and cute property!

Loved this house and the attention to detail by the owners. It’s walking distance to the U of A campus and was perfect for our family trip to Tucson. The backyard is fantastic! The owners were very responsive and great to work with. FYI- the home does not have a dishwasher, but that wasn’t an issue during our stay. We will definitely plan to visit again!

Excellent Stay

One of the best places we’ve stayed! Super clean and decorated so cute! Loved the split floor plan and backyard. Location couldn’t be any better for ease to the University. Was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom items! Beds were super comfortable too! We will definitely stay here again when we come to Tucson! Big thanks to the hosts!!!

Lovely property close to university and downtown

This is a great, three bedroom and two bath property very close to the university campus. It is ten minutes or less to downtown. It was stocked with nearly everything we needed, and was very clean. It’s tastefully decorated, charming, and the owners communicate well but also give the guests privacy.

Perfect Family Spring Break Getaway!

We loved our stay at Casa Reina. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, well equipped and has the perfect layout for a family of 4! We also enjoyed the beautiful back patio, the quaint historic neighborhood and its convenient location. Ann and Bruce were very accommodating and quick and easy to communicate with! Casa Reina is a Gem

Great location for navigating around Tucson. Charming decoration and furnishings, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and bedrooms. Attractive back patio area and secure parking with walled garden. A great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Owners were accommodating and informative with good recommendations for dining and attractions. We hope Casa Reina is available again for our next visit. Alan and Mary

Amazing house

A few of us came to visit a friend that lives in the area. We did a few searches and found Casa Reina, the pictures looked amazing but it’s even better in person. Such beautiful touches inside and out. Bruce and Ann had fresh baked cookies and plenty of snack and drinks upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, we all slept like babies. You are walking distance to the UA stadium and a little hike to some shopping but wasn’t bad in the beautiful weather we had. We have told our friends and family about your little gem. Thanks again! Wow!!!

This place is bigger and better than pictures can possibly show. Fresh lemons, bottled & sparkling water plus chocolates were there for us when we arrived late. Loved the back patio! The decor was exceptional and the kitchen had everything. We will be back!

Tucson at it's finest

Cute home in the heart of Tucson/UofA area. The yard was very relaxing and inviting. The home was well maintained and updated with all the amenities of home. We all truly enjoyed our time there. Two small recommendations - small power supply in the master bedroom to charge devices would be very helpful and curtain or some covering on the master door for additional privacy. Overall A++

Well appointed and expertly decorated!

The owners thought of everything! The home was so well decorated and updated. We even got some home decorating ideas! We had everything we needed and more! The snacks and coffee beans with grinder were a special surprise. I was able to cook my UofA daughter's favorite meal and host friends with the cookware and utensils in the house. The mattresses were SO comfortable (better than home). We will definitely come back!

Perfect Tucson Home Away

We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated classic Tucson home. The location near the university was perfect for visiting family, convenient grocery shopping, and visiting the local areas of interest. The hosts arranged convenient access to the home, which was especially appreciated when our arrival was unexpectedly delayed. A warm welcome included a buffet of snacks, seltzer and sodas, and a hand-illustrated note. They also provided fair warning when they were planning to visit the property. All in all, my friend and I very very happy with our stay.

Charming , Clean, and Quiet

This home has old world character but has been thoughtfully updated. It’s extremely clean and comfortable with a very secure stucco wall - so it feels especially private - and provided a safe place for our pup to run around. The hosts have truly gone out of their way to make Casa Reina warm and welcoming; including a kichen stocked with snacks and beverages. I would definitely stay at Casa Reina for future Tucson visits. (Note: I do wish the kitchen had a dishwasher - but that didn’t overshadow the many other positive features in the house.)

Beautiful house in hood location

Communication with the owners was easy, well presented and inquiries were quickly returned. The location was near campus and shopping on a reasonably quiet street. The house was clean and well appointed. The owners even left some small, but very welcomed, gifts. I was impressed. The patio in back was especially nice and used by us many times. The bathrooms were spacious, well stocked & hot water was plentiful (but to save water, we showered quickly…lol). All in all, it was one of the best properties I have rented in the last 20 years.

Best VRBO I've ever stayed in.

The owners at this rental actually want you to feel welcome and they take steps above and beyond what is necessary to make that happen. Here are some examples. The towels are actually soft and large -- like ones I have in my own house. There are plenty of drinks and snacks upon arrival, like flavored water, bottled water, chips, salsa, chocolate. The furniture is comfortable and clean, not worn and tired. The linens on the bed are soft, with comfortable pillows. The entire property inside and out is immaculately maintained with high pressure shower heads, and resort quality outdoor patios and furniture. Even the toilet paper is the best you can buy (Charmin from Costco). We will never stay anywhere else when we come to Tucson.
