I am from the East Coast, Montreal. I discovered Victoria while looking for career opportunities out West. I fell in love with the Ocean views, Mountains views and the winter escape. I have since loved it here for it's peaceful and beautiful scenery. I am sure you will love it to.

The neighbourhood has a timeless feel, with well-preserved heritage homes, mature trees, and beautifully landscaped gardens that give it a calm, established atmosphere.
The scene in Rockland is peaceful and picturesque. Tree-lined streets, stately mansions, and smaller character homes create a sense of elegance without feeling formal or unwelcoming. Itâs common to see people walking their dogs, cycling, or enjoying a relaxed stroll, and the area feels safe and community-oriented. Being close to places like Government House and its public gardens adds to the neighbourhoodâs charm and provides easy access to green space.
