The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The back porch camera will be off during guest stays. House was perfect for a girls weekend away! Great amount of space for 7 women, clean, had everything we needed and then some! Kayaks and paddle boards were perfect since we had beautiful weather for late September! Would for sure stay here again!

Quiet location with great water access for small children

The location of the house is wonderful, it has a beautiful, private backyard. The walk-in access to the water was great for the small children in our group. I would recommend water shoes for the mucky bottom.The house was spacious however the rugs were not vacuumed. The pool cues were not useable, all the tips were gone. And when we went to make our beds (clean sheets were left folded on each bed) the sheets were damp.

Family vacation

Had a real nice stay! Everyone was comfortable w plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. On hotter days, the upstairs A/Cs did the job. Downstairs living space unit also made the area comfortable. The bedroom on that floor was a little hot as no unit in that room. Communication with the owner was superb, any minor problems that came up were resolved asap (a coffe pot dilemma! An order was placed for a new one and was delivered to the house within 3 hours!)and that they were going to look into getting A/C for said bedroom. At least others would benefit from that, if not us! My son brought his boat and tied up at the house which made for more fun. Communication regarding boat access etc was also great. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, fridge clean! We used paddle boards to get out to deeper water in the cove as it was shallow and a bit weedy from the dock.Excellent hosts, contact direct thru text super fast. My crew of me, my spouse, two sons, their wives and an infant grandbaby very much enjoyed the house, the yard, the dock and the fire pit too one evening. Nice place to stay!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful house with plenty of room! The pictures do not do the space enough justice. The host was super communicative and that was great! Plenty of cookware and spices made our cooking easier. It was rainy during our stay but had plenty of games and activities to keep us entertained in the beautiful family room.

Family Christmas

This was the perfect house to gather our family together for our holiday celebrations. The kitchen and dining area were able to accommodate us comfortably and the kitchen was well equipped to handle cooking complete meals easily. The location was quiet and peaceful. We loved that ice skates were available to use on the lake. The host was also quick to respond to all messages and check-in was very simple. We made lots of great memories and look forward to returning again in the future.

A perfect getaway.

The house was beautiful inside and out. Everything was very clean and very comfortable, and the view of the lake was outstanding. For the winter months the lower level with the pool table was cold, but we were still able to enjoy it. The host of the property had exceptionally good communication and was attentive and helpful. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back again.

Family holiday dream

Tucked into the lakeside this cottage offered loads of space for our family of four (it can hold up to eleven people!) I loved the kitchen layout, made good use of the griddle, and enjoyed the huge dining table for dinner conversations. Casey checked with us before our trip and graciously left out the water sports. We took advantage of the canoe, as well as the indoor fun with the pool table and the games. It was the perfect place for us and our two university daughters to enjoy.

Serene Lakefront Retreat

Amazing extended family getaway. Kids had a ball on the paddle boards, paddleboat, and kayaks, as well as fishing on our boat which we were able to dock right at the house! Great room to play in the backyard, cook s’mores over a fire and plenty of room to hang out inside and cook/ watch Copa America games. Plenty of seating for eating and lounging! Looking to book again, which says it all!

A storybook cottage in idyllic setting

What a perfect way to spend a week in fall. This house is so charming and comfortable. The lake is serene and beckons you to take out a kayak. All the modern conveniences in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

Peaceful lakeside retreat

We really appreciated all the extra amenities that were provided -- fully equipped kitchen, coffee and basic kitchen supplies, laundry, comfortable bedrooms, outside grill & fire pits. And we especially enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. It was the perfect location for a quiet fall retreat with family.

Relaxing week on Crescent Lake

We were very impressed by the capacity of this house, the accessibility of the lake and the beautiful setting. The house fit our party of five very comfortably and probably could have squeezed in twice that number. The options of places to sit and enjoy the scenery on-site were numerous and allowed us to spread out. All the boats were used during our stay and the lake is quiet, calm and very clean. The houses are fairly close to each other so if you’re looking to have a loud party this is not the place for you. We found all the neighbors to be quiet and respectful and the landscaping created a lot of privacy for us. The dock is a gem and we spent a lot of hours sitting and reading lakeside. Our dog had a great time. The firepit is a great feature and it wasn’t hard to find local firewood. The owner was proactive about getting instructions to us well before our arrival so we knew we’d need firewood, some bottled water etc to make our stay comfortable. It was chilly in the downstairs playroom during our stay but I’d imagine this would be a great spot for guests during the heat of the summer. Lots of shady corners for hot afternoons. It was easy to get groceries about 15 minutes away and the kitchen is first-rate. This is one of those special places that didn’t feel like a rental; it felt like we were visiting a friend’s beloved home. Thanks Casey for a great vacation!

Spacious and gorgeous home!

Beautiful, big house with plenty of space. We loved the dining table, as a few of us worked remotely (great internet access). The dogs loved going in and out of the water and running around the yard. Huge boat selection, clean water and very pretty lake. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful property

Host was extremely responsive. No issues with property. House is prettier in person. Lake view is gorgeous and with fall leaves changing colors, it was really an amazing sight. Plenty of space in the house. Kitchen was very well equipped. We were mainly there to relax and spend time in the house, reading, exercising, cooking, playing games, etc. and the house was perfect for that.

Fabulous Lake House

What a great house!!! Beautiful setting, great views! I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy more water fun, but the paddleboat was great fun and the dock was still up and great fishing was to be found!! (catch and release only for us) The outside spaces were awesome. It was hard to leave!!!

Peaceful paradise

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful vacation home. It was thoroughly cleaned and extremely comfortable. The weather was cool, but we still spent part of every day on the lake. Hubby and I kayaking, my son paddleboating. I spent hours knitting on the dock enjoying the amazing view. Fall colors were just starting. Also really enjoyed the ping pong/ pool table when we were kept inside by occasional rain showers. And played games every evening...pictionary, scrabble, and many more . Cooked every day in the lovely kitchen. My son had to "work from home" and used the sunroom with a gorgeous view as his base. While he worked, we checked out a couple of nearby covered bridges and Pillsbury State Park, and Lake Sunapee. Only disappointment was for my dog. The ducks and geese were already heading south so she didn't get to "protect" us from them, which is a favorite vacation activity for her. This was by far the nicest place we have stayed since we started using VRBO.

Great location

Great stay. The only negative was the mattress upstairs (south) bedroom. The edge of the mattress is broken down. It causes you you to feel like you will roll out of the bed. Twice I had to catch myself because I nearly fell on the floor. The bed is just not level. Other than that it was a great stay.

September get away

The location of the house was great. We didn't have the best weather so the pool table was a big hit to pass the time and the front room looking over the water was peaceful for reading and working on a puzzle. It took a while for us to get the house warm but once we figured out the heater it worked well. We did have a few nice days so we enjoyed sitting out and exploring the lake with the kayaks. It was a very relaxing trip.

Amazing lake home!

What an amazing home! We stayed there with our seven children ages 1 to 15. There were ample beds between the three bedrooms. There is one window air conditioner upstairs, so one of the bedrooms got warm. One of the bedrooms upstairs didn’t have a door but instead had a curtain. It didn’t cause any problems for us though. The house is much bigger then it looks in the photos. The lake is very shallow by the dock. It was great because we didn’t worry about having our children o the dock fishing. The rest would swim past the Lilly pads to play in the water. It was still probably only 5ft deep out there and the bottom was VERY mucky, so bring your water shoes! Fishing was great for the kids. There are enough small dock-fish for all to catch almost non-stop (blue gill, pumpkin seed, yellow perch, and golden shiners). There are some nice size bass out past the Lilly pads. Lots of fun things to do around the area (the Pier Covered Bridge, Balthazar’s Ice Shack, and Lake Sunapee were hits with our group). This was one of our favorite vacations in recent memory. Already planning our return trip. Thanks to the hosts for the great communication and home!
