What a great place to stay! The house is beautiful and roomy. The neighborhood is save and in a very convenient location to most of the popular attractions in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area! The owner was very kind and helpful and always happy answer question. I will stay here again a s recommend it to anyone! 10/10!!

There were definitely some positives. The location was very convenient, and the host was friendly, communicative, and easy to reach throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight, spacious with lots of citrus trees and the bathrooms were nicely updated with great water pressure in the showers.However, cleanliness was a significant issue. The floors were visibly dirty to the point that walking around turned our socks black. There was noticeable dust buildup in the bathrooms, and the refrigerator had multiple spills that hadn’t been cleaned. The pool was also not maintained it was quite dirty, with visible algae and bugs. The filter and vacuum did not appear to be running. The host/long term tenant was nice enough to provide a net on the last day of our stay so we could clean it up. Overall, while the property has good potential and a great host, the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay.

We confirmed that the floors and refrigerator were thoroughly cleaned prior to your stay, and because the home is hosted weekly, we're confident that dust does not have the opportunity to build up. Our pool filter and vacuum are in full working order to keep the water crystal clear, and we were happy to provide the skimmer net during your stay so your family could fully enjoy the pool. We have since verified with our team that all cleaning and maintenance protocols continue to be followed to ensure the home remains in top condition for all future guests.

Bio hack means used furniture

For your information, bio-hack means the house is furnished with very very old furniture that has been painted or repurposed. The house was not clean when we arrived. Dishes were dirty, kitchen trash wasn't emptied. They supply no kitchen trash bags so the containers are gross and stained because people aren't using liners. The pool furniture is black metal and very old. Who has black metal furniture in the sun? Basically you can't use it when the sun is shining, it burns your skin. The cushions were used and dirty and one chair was so old it disintegrated when we sat it it. I have no idea why there is 3 types of flooring throughout the house. The bedding is also recycled and used, albeit clean. There's a pullout bed but no bedding for the bed, so be prepared if you're planning to use the pullout. I doubt the garbage disposal had been run in weeks and that's because the switch is nowhere to be found. It's actually about 10 feet away from the sink and sticking up on a post on the counter. Very strange. THERE IS NO LAUNDRY if you are planning to do laundry you need to ask the caretaker how to do it. There is not a washer /dryer at the house. Lots of cheap fake tacky plants around the house, basically collecting dust so if you have allergies this might be an issue. Great location but plan to park a ways away. The driveway is reserved for the permanent tenant. There is a lemon tree in the back yard that was amazing!!

From the owner: "Hello Michelle, we're sorry that you were upset, but really, it was with yourself, not the house or its amenities, which are beautiful and well-maintained. You scheduled and cancelled your reservation multiple times as indicated in the scheduling software. Then you asked to renew your reservation one last time, and you were allowed to do so, as indicated in the messages of the software. Then you once again attempted to cancel, but you were close enough to the scheduled reservation that the program would not allow a cancellation refund, so you got stuck. Now you're upset with the situation, which is completely of your own creation, but you're taking it out on the house's reputation with your retaliatory review. Most people will be able to see through this and disregard it. Good luck, and we wish you the best."

The home is lovely and located in a very calm and beautiful area. The homeowner made himself available for any concerns. There was ample parking in the front for at least three vehicles. The home had three small apartment-like areas, and two of them were adjacent to the house, where we saw three men and made positive contact with two. There was a large dog, as per the ad, who seemed very friendly. There were areas of the grass that had small sticker-like seeds that stuck to my dogs' fur and some dog poop that had not been picked up from the friendly dog living there. There were a couple of ants in the kitchen on the beautiful marble countertops that the homeowner wanted to address that day. Our stay was short, we made do with the bug spray that was already there. All in all, the stay was okay, but we were not alone.

This place was great and an excellent value for my dog and me. The location was perfect as well Aaron was a great host - communication was excellent and was always available for answering questions and providing information. Probably the best VRBO experience and value I have ever had!!
