Exterior parking available on a first come first serve basis in any unmarked spot. Handicap parking must have a handicap placard.

Please Note: In true Malibu coastal style, this oceanfront home does not have air conditioning. The property benefits from refreshing ocean breezes and natural coastal airflow, and opening the windows and doors allows the Pacific breeze to flow throughout the home. With Malibu’s typically mild seaside climate, air conditioning is generally not needed.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire unit privately. The building amenities such has pool and spa, private beach and laundry facility are shared.



The Neighborhood:

Located on Carbon Beach on Malibu's most popular beach within walking distance to Nobu, Soho House, and the Malibu Pier. We value our neighbors therefore we only will host guests who will be respectful to our community. It's a privilege to be able to share the space in this format with travelers and we care deeply about out neighbors wellbeing. This means no loud noises after hours (9pm to 8am), or any inappropriate behavior. Any guests who disturb the peaceful enjoyment of our community will be asked to leave and a refund will not be given.

Other Things to Note:

Please message our team before booking. Contact the Home Manager first. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies.



This unit does not have central air conditioning. The breeze from windows and sliding glass doors is sufficient to cool the apartment and is common in Malibu.



To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, please read these important rules:



1. No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. All guest names must be submitted before booking. A guest is anyone spending any amount of time at the property. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit and may result in guests being asked to leave.



2. No pets unless proof of service animal is provided, as required by law.



3. No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar, indoors or outdoors. Our state-of-the-art smoke/vapor/gas detectors notify the fire department. A $500 fee applies for false alarms or violations, paid by the guest. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires.



4. Quiet hours: 9pm - 9am to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for guests and neighbors.



5. Do not send mail to the property before or after your reservation. If needed, send it to our office and we'll deliver it on arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.



6. Pre-Stocking: Choose from available options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests.



7. The property is on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests may hear road noise and/or waves crashing. The beach has no lifeguard on duty. Children should never be left alone near the beach or PCH.



8. Day of Arrival:

Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show ID for security.



9. Check-In: 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Early check-in is based on availability and requires team approval. Arrivals after 6:00pm require approval.



Check Out: 10:00am. Late checkout requires prior approval and is based on availability. The fee is $100 per hour after 10:00am. Check-out after 12:00pm incurs a fee equal to one full day.



10. Before departing, make sure nothing is left behind. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Found items can be shipped back at the guest's expense plus a $50 service fee.



11. Guests may not move or rearrange furniture without prior written approval. Moving furniture can damage floors, walls, and furnishings. Unauthorized movement will result in an additional fee for inspection, repositioning, and any damages. Only the living room coffee table may be moved to open the pullout sofa.



We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the space in excellent condition for all guests.



Cleanliness:



We take cleaning seriously. Our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. We are a professional vacation rental hospitality management company. We maintain high hospitality standards with an in-house team of designers, concierge, hosts, maintenance personnel, and stylists.



Building Rules:



1. Nothing personal can be left in hallways.

2. No hanging towels over railings.

3. All umbrellas must be closed during winds.

4. Do not leave main building doors or front door propped open.

5. Park only in the space shown at check-in.

6. No glass or food in or around the parking area.

7. No loud or disturbing noises in or around the pool area.

8. No handheld speakers.

9. No diving or jumping into the pool.

10. Appropriate pool attire must be worn.

11. No swimming in non-pool attire.

12. No unapproved visitors.

13. Rinse off sand before entering the pool.



Additional House Rules:



1. Malibu is a no-smoking City. Anyone caught smoking will be charged $500.

2. Cameras are located at the front door and back deck.

3. Fireplace cannot be left unattended and must be turned off when not in use.

4. No leaning over or throwing anything off the balcony, including food, trash, or debris.

5. No feeding seagulls. It is harmful to them and the environment.

6. Loss of the building main key is a $250 fee.

7. No pets anywhere.

8. No moving furniture or creating noise for residents below.

9. Only the living room coffee table may be moved to open the pullout sofa.

10. Front entry gate access is assigned virtually through the Butterfly MX App Invite upon booking for the exact stay dates.

11. NO HVAC. Malibu typically has a natural cross breeze providing a pleasant sea breeze.

12. Please enjoy the powerful Sonos system and subwoofer while being mindful of volume levels.

13. Malibu is on septic. No wipes down the drains.

14. Do not double park. Assigned car spot is #7.

15. Alcohol in the bar belongs to the owner and is not available for consumption.

16. No loud voices in common areas or hallways. Please respect neighbors sharing their space with short-term visitors.

17. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, theft involving vehicles, or items left in vehicles.



This property has an exterior motion-sensored camera at the front door, active during guest stays.



Lastly, if by the end of your stay you feel our service has been nothing less than excellent, gratuity is always welcome. Give it to whomever you deem fit!
