Very nice place, all open and bright. I would have liked to have water that was easy to swim in, very shallow. Had great time with kayaks.

Nice property, excellent location. The house had tons of amenities and was very clean. They had a bunch of kayaks and a small paddle boat that everyone enjoyed using daily. Property had plenty of room for the kids to play. The next door neighbor was great and offered us the use of her kayaks as well. Great property that my family all enjoyed very much.I was very disappointed at the 275 pet fee for a 3 1/2 day stay especially since I took the optional extra insurance for damages, but it was disclosed in the listing, so it wasn't unexpected. Bring lots of water for coffee and drinking as the water is from a well and filtered but tastes and smells like lake water- not horrible at all but be aware.

Very spacious home with three bedrooms right on the lake. House was well stocked in kitchen. Covered patio with view of lake and gas grill. Table for 6 plus L counter with stools so lots of seating. They allow dogs which is very important to us! Great having washer and dryer and two bathrooms! Concerns we had is it was very warm and humid and there is no ac so house was very warm! Bring fans! We were disappointed that the water is just knee deep out about 50 yards the gets deeper but lots of seaweed. There is a village beach that is very nice and large and allows dogs in certain areas. There is a car charge. Gus restaurant is at the entrance to beach road, they did not have several items on their menu and no AC. There is a Dollar General down where beach area is but otherwise shopping at Walmart is a half hour ride but a lot of shopping and restaurants in that area. The next door neighbor is very friendly and helpful! Love having my whole family together under one roof again! Caution bunk beds, top bunks have 50 pound weight limit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Its location was ideal, with the lake being just 50 yards away from the back door. It is also situated within driving distance from both the Adirondacks and Green Mountains, both of which we took advantage of on side trips during peak foliage season. It was also perfect for our vizsla, who enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood. We will certainly be returning in the future.

This house is in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Very clean inside and out. Easy 1 hour drive to Montréal for nice day trip. Ferry to Vermont also nearby. State Beach 10 minutes away although water was warm very shallow. House had water access but best to wear water shoes as the shoreline seems to have receded a bit. Great vacation.My dog had a great time also.

Just what we needed

Clean and accommodating. Not far from SUNY Plattsburgh. The fog on the crystal lake was a nice reminder to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee each morning.

Beautiful house , amazing location!

We, 2 families with kids, had a great stay at the house. We found it very cosy, clean, with everything we needed to feel at home. It is located right on the lake, with the lake access to swim or go fishing. Thank you ,John, for your hospitality!

Nice location and view

It was very easy to rent. Location on lake is beautiful. Home is spacious (especially kitchen). The furnishings were fairly minimalist (which was fine).

Chazy Vacay

This property worked well for us as we have family in the area. We all enjoyed the lake and use of kayaks and paddle boat. We also used the gas grill for a cookout and the bar seating worked perfectly for our meals.
